Rei of the Shadows wrote:

Rei stands up and turns around. Putting her hands up on the bars, she eyes the various occupants.

All these people would no doubt love to see the kingdom in ruins. Perhaps if we can find an opening... They say no one has ever escaped from here, but there must be a way.

"One way or another I'll be checking out of here in three days. Since I'd prefer it not be by way of four horses who can't agree on their direction of travel, you can count me in."

Her mind focused again with a challenge before it, she sits down facing the bars and begins reviewing everything she remembers from her arrival in Branderscar up until this point, trying to think of anything that might aid them.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't high treason the only way that they still do that kind of punishment to you?" he states, somewhat surprised.

His eyes practically roll into the back of his head when the other man with his arms bound starts to state that he was innocent. "Your arms are only bound like yours and mine are if they can do something particularly dangerous. Me? I can remove your trachea with 2 fingers." he says with a bit of a laugh mixed in. "You?" he chuckles again. "Well, you don't look too athletic..."

Desh chuckles himself at the mention of a shoulder rub. "At least the lot of you aren't strung up..." He sits about, his arms having lost proper circulation some time ago. "The lady, however, does have a point, doesn't she?" he says with another chuckle, something that had been a trademark ever since he had deserted the military.

"Frankly, no one here is here for flipping up skirts. We're murderers, grand thieves, and, if anything, vile people, no? I'm not one for lying, and I'm almost known for discerning liars..." he smirks. "So with that, I believe I'll start. Short sweet and to the point, I'm a deserter of the Talingarde military, after I killed 12 soldiers with my fingers." he says, grinning at the experience once again. No amount of lies fall off his tongue.

After a bit of a pause, he casts a glance over to the bat again. "None of us here are... minor threats, I believe. They've given us each 3 days. The fools... We'll likely be lead around the prison at some point. We just have to commit this awful place to memory and come up with a way to get out..." he casts a piercing glare at a few of you. "And I'm very certain we all want to do just that, no?" He chuckles once more.

Sense motive: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23 Heh

"Heh..." Desh laughed at the lie but kept it to himself for later use. He scooted up against the wall and looked around. "A murderous Orc, a boisterous fool, a pitiful liar, and a bat..." he said to himself at a mumble. "This is how I die."

Chuckling to himself, he couldn't help but bat an eye at the half-orc. Stifling that, he looked back at the bat. "Suppose that thing's actually a person?"

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Wow

Watching accordingly, Desh can't be much surprised at this. Well, he could be, but that would insinuate he hadn't seen plenty of strange things in his lifetime. The little thing wrote out it's name, strangely enough. He did, however, betray himself by whispering; "What the devil?..."

He was close to the wall with his legs sprawled out, but he could make out the words easily enough. "Fetch?"

Apart from the stranger in the corner, the one with blue eyes and blonde hair, Desh chuckles a bit. He pulls his forearms as best he can, but alas, he's been bound to the higher part of the wall. Sitting down, arms in the air, he takes a moment to consider the situation. "No sense in dwelling on it." he says abruptly as he sighs heavily.
