I'm going to start up a tournament style PbP which pits players against one another. This is my first time GMing ever and i wanted to start off with something easy on me. Instead of designing encounters you will be in a 30x30 ft. arena. If you are moved out of the square you lose. If you fly higher than 30 ft. you are counted as knocked out of the ring. If you are flying above the normal "out" area you are considered out of the ring. You can knock people out of the ring however if you do this twice in a row the crowd will be one step lower in your next match. That's right I will be using the crowd ruled found in UC, massive crowd.
This PbP will be Level 7, 25 Point Buy, 23,500 Gold, all classes, Core Races and some featured races only (will post accepted featured races later). Only books that will be used in character creation are CRB, APG, ARG, UC, UM and UE
Looking for 8 players PM me applications and post in the recruitment thread, if I get more than 8 applications I will open it up to 16 players. No third party or guns, other than that any class/archetype is acceptable. Short back story would be liked. If I get more than 8 people but less than 16 before September 29th I will fill up the remainder with DMPC's.

Oh, oh crap I just noticed something... 30x30ft. isn't all too big of a square in pathfinder terms... I meant 30 squares by 30 squares (a.k.a 150ft.x150ft.).

Didn't think of the companion books as I haven't worked with many of them... the companion books are allowed just mark in your character sheet what is companion. As for traits you can have two traits and they can be of the same category *gasp* yes you can have two combat traits.

We start Sept. 29th. Right now I only have 3 people signed up so if no one else signs up I will put in a DMPC to make it a 4 person tourney.
As for HP, you can roll here or take the standard PFS (half hd+1) which ever is higher.
This game looks like it could be really fun, If you are still looking for a player, and don't mind the fact that I am rather new to PBP format games. I would be happy to write up a character if you'd have me.

HP=Max at first level then Half Hit Die +1 for every level after the first.
EXAMPLE: If your Hit Die is 6 then at level 2 you have 6 + 3 (half hit die) + 1 health (include Con/Favored Class Bonuses as necessary)

PFS standard, so d6 = 4HP, d8 = 5HP, d10 = 6HP, d12 = 7HP.
This is the PFS that I have... So my math (sorry for it being wrong before) is actually (same example) 6 + 4 + Con + Favored Class

Oh and I allowed a third party material that allows a person to use a wand through their weapon at +100 G to the weapon cost, if anyone would like to change their character sheet to incorporate this you may.

It was never intended for that. Allowing that would be WAY more powerful than the spell storing ability, which costs a whole +1 bonus on a weapon. All this does is allow you to use a wand without having to change what you're holding over and over again.
Right now it looks like I have 6 people, which means 2 DMPC's for the bracket's ease. I promise that they wont be any more powerful than what your characters can be at this level.
After making this character i already have an idea for the next tourny
