The nervousness disappears from Myriana's face replaced with an excitement to match her sister's. "Oh, Shelyn's Holy Blessings, of course." She steps forward into Shalelu and squeezes her tightly. "I'm so happy for you." She pauses, drawing back and looking up into Shalelu's face, eyes still managing to shine in the pale light. "So..when did you guys decide to make it official?"
"Not long ago," Shalelu replies, returning your embrace. She is rather glowing. "During the Aurora. We haven't told anyone else yet, so I would prefer that you hold off on mentioning it to anyone else until we make the announcement."

"Oh. Um, okay." Myri frowns a bit with just a tinge of tension in the left side of her jaw, but she stays silent.

Female Quarter-Orc Sorcerer

Alaric:
As her right leg pulls over his hip and waist, Melinda's eyes grow a little wider, her lips part slightly, his intimate strokes starting to spiral out through her body. Her green eyes filled with love, the rest of her face lighting with joy and passion.

She kisses his fingers as her body starts to work in counterpoint to his, welcoming him as he comes closer, holding tight when he pulls away. The words are in her eyes, on her face, but she says them aloud, makes them real. "I always need you and you always make me feel... so good." Her lips curve into a smile as she licks them, "Makes me glad I'm a girl because you never seem to stop at once." Her eyes still locked with his, "Makes me immesurably happy that I'm yours. And," the possessiveness in her tone, mirrored by the muscles in her body for a brief moment, "That you are mine."

Aftermath

Shalelu casts Resistance to Cold upon Liothonae, protecting her from the harsh environment and monster vomit...

"Thank you Anwyl." Lio says quietly, closing the distance between her and Shalelu in the moments after the fight ends.

Kyrademon wrote:
Shalelu casts a second Resist Cold on Hrunndalf.

Lio looks like she was about to hug Shae, possibly in thanks for casting Resistance to Cold upon her, when she had only moments before been succumbing to frost bite. As Shalelu moves to aid Hrunndalf, Lio stops short, and waits for the tall elf to finish helping the members of the party who still need assistance.

Bluff: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Sense Motive DC 3:

Lio's face clearly shows her emotions, though she tries to cover them. She knows she shouldn't be upset that Shae is giving so freely of her abilities, but for some reason, Hrunndalf is still evoking irrational feelings. Perhaps even jealousy. What's more, she instantly realizes she's being unreasonable, but for some reason can't get over it. When Hrunndalf doesn't thank Shalelu for casting upon him, or afterwards for handing him antitoxin, she get's even more annoyed.

Koya laughs. "You know ... I bet he'd do actually do it, jest t' find out what rhino milk tastes like."

Lio's softer chuckle is barely audible. She's in a very good mood today. "If annyunne ken milk a rhino, 'ets Rhost." She adds, after a long moment, her tone still very much amused.

A little after that, her quiet voice asks, "'ave ye e'er 'ad 'e chance ta tolk to Jorun? Dunna see 'im socialize much, bought, dunno ef ah shoulde push 'em ta do so weth all thot 'e's been through."

Male Human Cleric 10

Melinda:
Whether it was her intention or not, her declaration and the accompanied squeeze are enough. His eyes mist over, muscles tense. His hand gropes for hers, twining fingers together before he explodes deep within her.

Female Quarter-Orc Sorcerer

Lio/Shae:
Lio wrote:
Not wanting to ruin the very happy mood of this conversation, Lio makes a special effort to sound happy. "Mostly minerals, salt, and loud music." She says, "didn't really have... room for cravings." As she thinks back to that time, you can see right through her false bravado, being pregnant at such a young age, while a slave, was one of the hardest and most terrifying things she ever lived though. However, she's not lying, those things helped her get through the pregnancy. "Your grandfather liked to be rocked. He liked movement. He was calmest when I walked around. I did so, right until I gave birth." Her voice gets softer, quiet, almost nostalgic. It is quite possible, even with all that happened, that she cares about her son a great deal.
Shae wrote:

"Sour food. Spicy foods. Pickles. Dairy. Chocolate," Shalelu answers.

"And as for the loudness I was referring to ... there is nothing quite like awaking one morning in the middle of the Darklands with a completely insatiable and equally completely unsatisfiable craving for a tuna, curry, and bacon sandwich."

Lio wrote:
Lio smiles, her mood quickly dissipates, as she thinks about Shae craving such a strange combination of foods.

Mel gets a little nervous at the pain under Lio's words, but smiles when Shae's own remembrances brighten the white-haired elf's mood. "I really don't feel any different." Her grin grows wider, "But with the luck that follows us, I'll start having food craving right when our food supplies get the most monotonous."

She mock grimaces, "Poor Alaric." She pauses, "Actually, poor Rhost, since I'd be more likely to pester him about food."

Women's Wagon:
Kyrademon wrote:
"Yes," Shalelu says as she finally manages to get your jacket off. "Glowing."

Slowly regaining feeling in her fingers means that Lio begins to undress you in turn. She doesn't stop at your jacket, though. She also removes the rest of your winter gear, so you can get under the blanket without chilly outer clothing. "Mush." She smiles mischievously as she speaks the word, indicating you should get under the blanket as she finishes taking her winter clothes off, to reveal a simple hose and chemise underneath. Her now flawless skin even paler than the cream color of her underclothing.

Perhaps the other ladies in the wagon have gotten used to seeing Lio without scars over the course of leaving Iqualiat. But Lio still can't get used to it. One hand, worries, as it usually does when she's aware of being only partially dressed, at the spot over her collar bone, where a bite mark used to be.

Female Quarter-Orc Sorcerer

Alaric:
When he comes back to her, Alaric find Melinda purring under him. Her leg still hooked around him to keep him near, her free under his shirt, fingernails running lazily up and down his back. Green eyes, hooded with pleasure, watching his face. The hand intertwined with his squeezes gently.

Her voice, very sleepy, the words probably not entirely intentional, "Relaxed... sleepy... don't want to stop watching you."

"Thankye." Lio says in Alaric's general direction, without actually addressing him. Her tone is congenial.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18 Bluff
Sense Motive DC 18:
Lio is really concerned about saying the wrong thing to Alaric and upsetting him again. Since she died and came back, you could count the words she's directly said to Alaric on one hand... apparently his strange behavior in the cave then, is still affecting her reaction towards him now.

Male Human Cleric 10

Melinda:
Alaric smiles, extremely sated. "You can watch all you like. I'm going to take a little nap." He disengages settling back down next to Mel. After a moment, he brushes a kiss on her cheek. "I love you, but you probably knew that."

"Thot's whot ye get fer goen en 'e front when ye knou b'tt'r." Lio says quietly. Her tone not disapproving, but rather, concerned, and, being concerned, her accent comes out in full force..

Liothonae:
Short answer: Yes, it is possible. They naturally produce very low-fat milk, like skim milk. It is also possible to milk horses. In both cases, this requires a pregnant, lactating animal.

Male Human (Ulfen) Oracle of Battle 10

Hrunndalf gratefully accepts Shalelu's, Alaric's, and Rhost's aid. "Much appreciated, thanks." He casts two spells to alleviate the symptoms.

Liothonae:
You don't know much about the device per se, but from the design and the location, it was almost certainly built by the same unknown race that created the Nameless Spires. Almost nothing is known about this civilization, which is thought to have predated humanoid civilization on Golarion, vanishing long before either elves or men first appeared. They are thought to have had very advanced technologies and magics.

SECOND FLOOR

As the elevator rises towards the 100 foot high opening, you start to see that further above it, about two thirds of the way up the tower, the shaft appears to open out into yet another, third story.

However, the blue platform only takes you up the first 100 feet before stopping.

The chamber is takes you to is significantly warmer than the other rooms in the spire. The hexagonal shaft is simply open to the chamber on three sides, but the other three walls continue up towards the blue sphere above. To the east and west, there are hexagonal portals that seem to lead to the area behind those walls, but the portals are filled with featureless opaque crystal. As in the room below, the ceiling of this chamber is 100 feet high.

Resting in the south of the room is a huge creature that looks something like an enormous centipede. Rows of chitinous plates on its back glow red-hot, and the three-fingered hand of Sithhud has been branded into them, possibly with acid.

When the elevator brings you into the room, it rears up and hisses, and scuttles forward to attack.

Knowledge Arcana DC 22:
This is a Remorhaz, a kind of magical beast that lives in the arctic, nesting in the ice. Because of the immense heat that they produce, weapons used to attack it risk being damaged ... and attacking it with a natural weapon such as a fist risks the person doing so being damaged.

Knowledge Arcana DC 27:
In addition to the above, you know that a Remorhaz is immune to both fire and cold.

Knowledge Arcana DC 32:
In addition to the above, you know that most of these creatures understand the language of the giants, but cannot speak it.

Knowledge Arcana DC 37:
In addition to the above, you know that these creatures are capable of mighty blows that can knock their opponents back and down.
