Aidan Ayrvar |

3002!
Aidan, in that case, would order Tkurzhan to chase after the other troll to back up Taedric. He's the only thing on the map that can keep up. He'd have the fire elemental go spinning off in that direction, as well, after it coup de ...graces?
Seneca pulls his wand from his belt as he rushes towards Narnel.
Move to N20, drawing wand, and cast. Provokes one AoO, for which mobility applies. AC 23.
Heals!: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Fan-freaking-tastic. Welcome to staggered, Narnel.

Bryndyn moves to his left (r19) hoping to get a flank with the beast, but then Narnel goes down. It takes him just a few moments to position himself for his next attack and in that time Narnel's eyes flutter open again due to Aidan's healing.
Howling in extended range, hoping to draw the Troll's attention away from both Elinor and Narnel now, he swings again.
Attack with Heavy Shock Mace 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 8 + 1 = 10
Damage with Heavy Shock Mace 1d8 + 3 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 + (3) = 11
I am assuming Bardsong is still active but I don't have a flank due to Narnal's condition.

Seneca races by the troll. It is outnumbered and surely it is going to die, but that does not mean it will be the only one to die. It snaps a wicked claw out and catches Seneca slashing him deeply. Seneca is driven to get Narnel back on his feet and with a touch of magic the wounded elves eyes flutter open.
Elinor still seeks to keep from being hurt further, but the chances of that harm are greatly reduced by Abbas. The creature does not even register what is happening as Abbas brings it to the ground.
With the second troll laid low, it is a simple matter to keep them that way, and to kill them if you so desire. Could Taedric and Tzurkhan follow up against the runner. Except for them, lets leave combat rounds. Seneca takes 11 points of damage.

Elinor Knutsdottir |

Sorry about delay, you know, stuff...
Elinor, seeing the troll go down drops her shield (also the bard song), races to where the tall, injured and gorgeous elf lies.
"This is no time for lying around, that comes later."
Cure light wounds: Spell failure 1d100 ⇒ 49 success
Heals 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
"You obviously don't fancy him enough old man."

After dealing with the Troll, Bryndyn let's his Heavy Mace fall to his side, it's head now resting on the ground even as Bryndyn's claws still grasp it's handle. He watches as Elinor moves to the Elf and heals him and nods. He looks around, amazed none of them are dead. Inside, he gives himself a small grin, for he finally felt that he helped his comrades. He had struck their foes over and over and they were victorious. He can't help the bellow that erupts from his toothy maw - it is one of triumph and praise to the mother for survival - and a message to his enemies that his tribe is to be feared.

Narnel Falerathon |

Round 11
Narnel rises, still appearing a little worse for wear.
Thanks, Eli...I owe ya.
He smiles briefly before moving to m-19 and concealing himself while drawing his Longbow.
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

Aidan Ayrvar |

Dang, that's one lucky troll or one unlucky Cleric. He's at 13. Wand at 49 charges - I think we'll all be fine. Anyone else have, or need, healing?
Is the troll actually running away, or just taking "withdraw" every round?
Fire elemental takes charge action every round to keep up with troll, which is basically just it being "hot on his heels" (hehe!)
Tkurzhan races ahead and attempts to find cover to ambush from, and keeps the troll in the open.
Aidan sets off at a jog to catch up to them, running when he has a straight line. He keeps an eye out for Troblins.
Charge: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 101d4 ⇒ 11d4 ⇒ 1
Perception: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 2 = 13
Wow. Just... just wow.
This isn't over yet, the druid says as he hefts his staff and takes off at a trot.
With a sound like leaves in the flame, the troll's corpse bursts into fire as the elemental dances on it.
The distant popping of sparks and whoosh of flame can be heard on the now-quiet battlefield as the second elemental harries its foe, punctuated by the battle-cries of a gnome and the low growl of his four-legged comrades.

Taedric Starfell |

Taedric readies to jab the troll as it begins to move, then sighs as it starts moving away from him. "What? Do I have to slap you with a glove?", he snarls, lowering the lance and charging the target of his challenge with wild abandon. I'm not leaving a troll here to terrorize anyone else who may come by...
Cavalier's Charge: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 1 + 4 = 23 for 3d6 + 6 + 3 + 12 ⇒ (2, 6, 1) + 6 + 3 + 12 = 30

Aidan Ayrvar |

The elemental dives, finally, onto its foe with a crackling of joy, immolating the troll's corpse even as they flicker out of existence. Aidan jogs around a rocky outcrop as the troll falls, and slows to a walk.
Alright, everyone get healed up!

Taedric Starfell |

Taedric rides back, lance still dripping gore, "Are we sure they're all burned and won't come back? I don't like the thought of leaving trolls alive to prey on other unsuspecting travelers."
He wipes it clean on one of the goblin-hybrid corpses before replacing it in its loops, then looks up, "We should still examine this area. There's a reason Levi marked it..."
His voice trails off and he cocks his head as a thought strikes him, then he shakes his head dismissing it, "...and, no, I don't think it was because he wished us to be eaten"

Aidan Ayrvar |

Plenty of time to look around while we make camp, Aidan says, looking around at the rag-tag group.
Those of us without eyes for twilight should be on first watch. Narnel, Taedric, on second.
Seneca has a wand of cure light, which averages 5 points per charge. Aidan will tend to the wounded overnight to prevent anyone getting diseased, and provide goodberries for meals.

Elinor Knutsdottir |

"Gadjie, bring your love stick over here and apply to my tender places. Who knows, maybe you fancy me enough to do some good."
Four bats with the wand will prob be sufficient. Spam healing is one of the things I hate about PF/3.x :-( :-(
"Are you sure he didn't want us to be eaten? Or maybe the wifey wants us to be eaten and sent us to Levi because she knew he'd send us here."
Elinor conjures up some light balls in a variety of pretty colours to provide some cheery illumination to set up camp by and gets Abbas to help her take her armour off so she can check it wasn't damaged by the surfeit of troll.
"You were splendid Abbas, the big one obviously belongs to you."

Bryndyn accepts a bit of healing himself, before taking his turn at the watch. He is silent, mostly, his earlier below saying everything he wanted to say for him. As usual, it was now time to relax the warriors blood within him and return to a calm facade.

Narnel Falerathon |

Three wand hits for me, please
Narnel walks to Aidan.
Please Aidan, I need some healing as well, and I will then take the first watch. Thanks you.
He looks Eli over after watching his wounds close.
Are you alright, my lady?
He bows at the waist.
First Watch Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
He then heads into the foliage just outside of the campfire's glow to take on his duties from a position of stealth.
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

Aidan Ayrvar |

Four for Eli, two for Bryn, Three for Narnel, two for Tkurzhan:
Eli: 4d8 + 4 ⇒ (5, 5, 6, 8) + 4 = 28
Bryn: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (3, 6) + 2 = 11
Narnel: 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (2, 6, 1) + 3 = 12
Tkurzhan: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (2, 7) + 2 = 11
Healing overnight
Heal Check: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 1 = 15
Everyone that rests recovers 2 hit points per level, so that'd be 8, and any diseases under DC 15 are expunged.
Aidan begins unpacking his supplies and gathering wood for a fire he packed firewood if there is no wood nearby. Absently, he grinds a paste with his mortar and pestle and applies it to the thin strips of bandage he has in his healer's satchel. Seneca's magical healing is impressive, he knows, but the risk of infection is now what threatens.

![]() |

Abbas shakes his head at Elinor. "I Shares with you and the fire thing. Get......half maybe or fifths? Not so good at numbers as staffs."
He wanders round but leaves the healing to the wand of Aidan. Then sits down by the fire, to look at his own cuts and bruises. He retains a little magic for anything in the night but otherwise heals a couple of the worst scratches. Never one to ask, Abbas accepts the healing tea and bandages on his leg by Aidan too.
With the overnight rest, Abbas will be fit and raring to go.3d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4) = 14

Taedric Starfell |

Taedric dismounts and says, "Since the stick's out... I wouldn't mind one or two myself."

Taedric Starfell |

The gnome smiles and looks up at Aidan, "Thank you. I feel perfectly well again."

Aidan Ayrvar |

I'm out of spells and I'm pretty sure we're low on challenge, bard rounds, and smites. Besides, it never goes as planned - we should set up here and rest until morning, giving us a full day if we need it at the cemetery.

Taedric Starfell |

Taedric says, "Sending the animals might not be a bad idea.... We could send Trumps as well. I can draw upon the magic that lets me speak to them one additional time to get their report."

![]() |

Abbas leans his forehead against the horse's warm neck and eyes closed. He wakes up moments later. And looks around to see the same discussion keeping up.
"I like to rest and then face danger. Not fit to go look for a fight." Abbas sits down nearby and tries to stay up while everyone decides.

![]() |

Abbas will take a watch, any watch and leaves the organising to someone who can divide several hours into several people. He spends a little while snoozing as the party continues. His nap is in armour and so short, then he sets about taking it off in a tired fashion. All energy bled out.

Aidan Ayrvar |

Aidan will start a fire, collecting wood if any is nearby, or using the firewood he packed.
He also sets up his blanket as a wind- and rain-shield, and uses soften earth and stone to create a patch of soft dirt and sand in which to camp. In this area he includes several of the boulders, transmuting them to clay. One of these he fashions into a fire pit. He passes out bedrolls, blankets, and waterskins to any that do not have them, and sets about on the fire with his cooking kit to make some squirrel stew from the jerky he has available.

Taedric Starfell |

Taedric says, "Those of us with the best night vision should split up to cover watches."

Elinor Knutsdottir |

Elinor tries to conceal her 'being impressedness' at Aidan's tricks.
Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 (Enough so she doesn't try to compete).
Without anything much in the way of 'useful wilderness skills' she'll keep up morale with some suggestive campfire songs and tell a few tall tales about how big the trolls are in the Linnorn lands.
No nightvision but pretty good perception score so her turn at watch is mostly listening (along with, trying not to fall asleep when bored).
