2) Underwater - I do not know how many people I can keep breathing underwater at a time, but I can maintain it on myself even if I am sleeping.
Moving as individuals will help immensely - not much to note of a single half-orc walking around... but one with a tiefling, a dhampir, deaf half-elf and a mouthy hooker all walking behind as ducklings tends to draw one's eyes ;)

The mouthy hooker was meant merely as a factual representation of your character as known thus far. I mean you have stated it's pretty much based fairly strongly on Trixie from Deadwood right?

Most men I meet underwater are breathless around me - makes it much easier to get donations from them.
And if we need to make a rapid escape, being able to dive into a canal or river or lake and just disappear is quite useful - hounds have a terrible time tracking one under water for a mile or two.
Psyana - just a little question as I was wondering. While you can breathe underwater, you don't have any Swim ranks and have a Strength penalty... RAW - Even in calm water, you need to roll every round as you can't take 10 to make progress.
Might it be worth a slight readjustment of your 1st level skill ranks if you're really thinking about spending much time under the water?
Thought about that - figure I never drown, so, I could just walk along the bottom if necessary. If you want me to swim up a fast flowing river, then I would have a problem. In looking at my skills, I think I will switch 1 point from Sense Motive to Swim. I will get a lot of skill points between my Int and taking a few rogue levels along the way to balance things out. Thanks for mentioning this though.
No probs - was just a thought that flittered across my mind as I thought of how a hectic run from a failed hit would play out ;)
Might be worth a confirm from Tark that you can sink and walk on the river floor instead of swimming. Especially without being loaded down with alot of kit.
My vote would be for me and the blind oracle to jump in some water deep enough to hide us. Figure she without sight and me without strength would be the two with the greatest difficulty fleeing from a determined pursuit.
From reading the Hex, we could both stay there for hours if necessary. I do not know how many people I could keep under water, but if it is a standard action to use a hex and the water breathing lasts 1 minute, I should be able to keep all 5 of us down, although this would limit our movement somewhat - I guess I could still hex someone and move each round.
my blind oracle is especially adept at hiding... even better at night, and when shadows are about.
and as much as i'm sure our professional brethren would like to see the two ladies in a wet tee-shirt contest...
Just a warning on using Diplomacy to Gather Information - the skill implies that it carries 1d4 hours of talking to people to get the benefit. Since we are assassins and with some fairly distinctive appearances we'd best be careful with who and what we talk to.
So when we do use Gather Info, might be best to couch it in who do we talk to and what do we ask them.
Not saying that we shouldn't use it - but to safeguard against potential traces back to us, we should be circumspect in its use.
Besides - for recon on the compound, we should get the information that Psyana was after from a straight Perception based observation.
uh... well, i'm having a bit of trouble connecting thoughts together today. I can read, but abstract thought is a bit of a challenge for some reason. Might have caught my mother in law's dumb or my brain loaded in Zarathustra's Lion mode today.

And a more interesting question is, what does our blind oracle shoot with her crossbow? Just randomly shoot and listen to see if she hits anything?
I'm planning to put one point in Linguistics next level to read lips--that should cover most of the issues. But the hand signals thing would be useful for us in any case!
