Hmm. You did not mention if Kyrax dropped his goblin or not. Did you miss his attack? He did 10 points of damage IF a 16 hit. And since there is no maps I do not know where all the opponents are. Where is the goblin bard in relationship to the group. Can Kyrax be making his way towards it?

Letting his dance performance drop Kyrax begins chanting his own counter to the goblin's chant (move action). His voice calls out strongly, attempting to overcome the chant of the goblins.

Countersong: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

"A Goblin is a Debbul, Not.
And red paint makes no fearsome lot.
Your horns are fake, You're not so hot
We will cut you down, send you to rot.
No treasures shall be yours to claim
Unless you treasure hurt and maim.
Bring out the Barghests if he does not fear,
We will kill it too and then drink our beer.
These Longshanks do not run in fright,
Our blades are sharp you shall fear our might!"

He then five foot steps up to cut down the nearest goblin that blocks his access to the enemy bard. If he can gain a flank or provide a flank to an ally as he does this he does. The rhythm of his previous dance steps seems to linger with him, guiding the swing of his blade. Lingering Performance for two rounds.

Scimitar: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 261d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Confirm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 241d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Seeing the goblins attacking the carriage, Mirandix looks for a way to disengage from the fight where he is and move to the carriage. He adopts a more defensive stance and attempts to slip through the melee to the carriage.

Using Acrobatics and movement to avoid AoOs, Mirandix moves 30 feet towards the carriage.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3.

Edit: That did not work so well then...on to plan B. Mirandix will attack the next goblin on his way that is between him and the carriage, attempting to carve a path through to the carriage.

Stumbling over his own feet, Mirandix thinks better of his attempt at graceful movement and attacks the next goblin he cannot avoid on his way to the carriage.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15.
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10.

Arma striking the goblin prepares for the incoming blow and again it is turned harmlessly by her armor. She attempts to strike again as the creature prepares swings its crude weapon at her again.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

After the swing of her scimitar, she glances about to check where her closest ally is to move to join them. Noticing the carriage being surrounded she instead moves to flank one or more of the goblins surrounding it, provoking whatever attacks she must so the defenders can strike back at the creatures.

She yells aloud. "I hear sails in the wind? Does anyone know what it is?"

"I hear it too!" Annalise says as she ducks a second swing from the goblin still maniacally attacking her. "Could it be wings? Something flying overhead?" She takes a step back (Going the wrong way! They're pushing us away from the sedan!) and fires, point blank, at the goblin in front of her.

Due to the DM's negligence, Kyrax' actions were not commented on before this. Here come the comments; feel free to alter your post if you like, Kyrax. ^^;

Kyrax:
But one thing; starting a Bardic performance and attacking are both standard actions. Unless you have a way to have two standard actions on one turn, you'll have to drop one...

Kyrax' attack cleaves his attacker in twain, blood and gore raining down as he draws the enemy into the rhtyhms of death...

For the moment, the Dervish finds himself without an enemy, and free to support the rest of you or do something else, as he pleases.

EDIT:

Hmm. Starting his dance is a move action. But I agree that the bard counter song would likely be a standard. He will still attempt to counter song the enemy bard, as posted. Just too cool of a chance to counter another bard. How often does that happen. :) I guess that crit goes to waist. He will use the nat 20 as his acrobatics roll for a 28 to get closer to the enemy bard if that is ok.

Zhu yells in pain as the goblin's blade cuts into his side, even with his magical protection! He glares at his attacker with a sudden surge of unexpected rage. "Foul thing!" he says. "You like dealing pain?" Almost without thinking, he grabs the goblin's sword arm and watches it convulse in agony.

The blood flowing out of him makes him think better of staying in close quarters with the goblin! He steps back, mutters a few syllables, and hurls several crimson bolts of energy at his foe. He still marvels at the fact he can do that.

Noya cuts down the Goblin that tries to flee from her, trampling its twitching carcass underfoot as she strides forth to attack another enemy. Unfortunately, her blade whistles just inches from the red, horned mask as the Debbul dodges back and tosses its odd-looking blade from one hand to another.
"Filthy human cow who kills my friend," the creature hisses, its red eyes seeming to glow behind the mask's eye-slits, "pray mercy from Lamashtu; this is your end!"
Shrieking, the Goblin leaps forward to attack! Fury actually seems to grant the Goblin some extra power, as its dogslicer dips in below Noya's guard and slashes her across her belly. Cackling, the Debbul dodges backward again, turning its blade left and right so Noya can see her own blood on the steel.
"A Debbul makes a pretty thing," the Goblin taunts, still ducking and weaving, tossing its blade from hand to hand. "Now you'll scream while Goblins sing!"

Mirandix stumbles as he tries to make his way closer to the sedan chair, but trips! Stumbling, he slashes at a Goblin, but the blow goes wide - and something barrels into the small of his back! One of the Debbuls just tried to trip the Elven warrior up, and although Mirandix is still standing, the creature is trying to cling to him, kicking at his legs!
"This ape is too tall! Make him fall!" the Goblin shrieks at its comrades.
Mirandix, you can make an AoO at the Debbul trying to trip you.

Arma slashes at her opponent, only to miss. Likewise, the Goblin's counterattack clatters off her armour.
"Longshanks, longshanks, in a can! You can't hit a Goblin man!" the little creature cackles as it hops and leaps around her, feinting and slashing.
The press of bodies around the sedan is considerable, and when Arma shouts -- several of the Debbuls turn around and look at her with rapacious eyes. Oops...!

Annalise's Goblin opponent throws itself out of the arrow's way before it can strike and tries to leap in and slice her -- in vein. The Goblin hops up and down, shrieking with fury -- and it may occur to Annalise that this Goblin's voice is even higher and shriller than those of many of the others.
"Precious meat, stand and close your eyes!" the Goblin howls its fury. "You have to die today, me no more defies!"

Kyrax Perception to spot the enemy Bard: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Kyrax' voice rings out over the battlefield, carrying a powerful counter-harmony. The Goblins' chant is fractured as some of the little creatures grow confused. They still fight on, but with less unholy zeal than they did a moment ago. Try as he might, though, Kyrax simply can not tell exactly which of the leaping, shrieking Debbuls is the one that started the chant...!
He is, however, able to tell the general area where the enemy singer was at just now, and a nimble leap and twirl land him right in that spot. Debbuls shriek with surprise and scatter as the Bard lands suddenly in their midst, with only one of them taking a surprised stab at him -- a stab that goes wide by a bare inch.
But with the moment over, Kyrax now stands before a clutch of Debbuls, who are starting to edge closer, muttering and brandishing their blades...! The one who already tried to stick the Bard growls something under its breath and comes in first.

The Goblin fighting Zhu stabs at him, and overbalances, startled by the Sorcerer grabbing his sword-arm! The Goblin convulses and screams with surprise when eldritch pain rips through its body - agony doubled when the magic missile slams into its sides, causing it to double over with agony and make a coarse, coughing noise. When the Goblin straightens up, Zhu can see blood trickling from the mask's mouth-hole...
Goblin Will save: 1d20 ⇒ 8.
"Witch! Witch! Spare my life!" the Debbul begs with a quavering voice as it backs away, dropping its blade to hold up one trembling hand, the other still clamped to its chest. At these close quarters, Zhu can see more blood oozing from between its fingers there. "I'll no more bother you, nor your baby, nor your wife! Spare me!" With this cry of terror, the Goblin dashes its horned mask to the ground and runs for the treeline.
Zhu, you can take an AoO, if you wish.

Pontia, bleeding, injured, frightened, fires a spell at the Goblin that has already cut her -- and watches it sail right past its head, barely blackening the paint on one of its horns!
"Pretty, pretty, such a shame," the Goblin sings -- and suddenly fresh pain blooms in Pontia's abdomen. Looking down, she sees fresh blood blossom from a new cut, as the Debbul bobs back.
"Another cut," the Goblin says in a jolly tone, as it waggles its blade, "and you'll be lame. We'll dress and quarter you like delicious game. Eh-HEE-HEE-HEE!"
Blackness eats at the corners of Pontia's vision...!

Robert finds himself in the thick of the fighting, with two Goblins jabbing at him at the same time. Around him, men are fighting, screaming -- and he sees one of the sedan-carriers go down beneath red, screeching bodies. Dogslicers rise and fall, redder on every pass...! It is no surprise that his own attack goes wide, causing his Debbul opponents to giggle with vicious mirth.
The closest cover from the pressing Goblins is, simply put, on top of the sedan chair. As Robert twists and leaps up, he can hear the captain cursing his name. "I'll see you strung from a tree, you blasted coward!" the Chelishman roars as he lays about him with his scorpion whip, heedless of the allies he lashes as long as his gruesome weapon brings down attackers.
Standing on top of the sedan, looking for a way down, a chance to get into flanking position, Robert has a fine view of the battlefield. The Andorans appear to be holding their own. The big man in full plate is wading through red, leaping bodies to get closer to the Goblin spellcaster. There are at least ten of them hanging off him, trying in vain to hold him back -- and then they all scatter, as the spellcaster fires a ray of bright, sizzling energy at the man's visor. He falls down with a mighty crash and lies still. Red Debbuls hide him from sight, their blades rising and falling...

A shrill, trumpeting cry from the air rings out over the battlefield.

"NOOOO~!" a voice screeches from the treeline; the Goblin with the torch is there, screaming his head off. "CHEAT! YOU CHEAT! MINE! IT'S MINE!"

For a moment, you suffer the jarring illusion that the griffon is talking like a human. Only after a precious moment do you realize that there is someone sitting on top of the beast, securely settled into a custom saddle. The man looks Keleshite; his face is angular, handsome and arrogant. A spotless white turban sits on his head, decorated with a black pearl in a golden setting. The rest of his body is swaddled in wide, flowing robes of black.
"You are not worthy of it, Bangu-Bangu," the man says, calmly. His dark eyes gaze at the lot of you with disdain. "None of you are worthy of it."

The Keleshite raises one perfectly-manicured hand and points it downward. "Terror shall be all," he pronounces -- and the Debbuls start to scream in terror, then scatter in all directions. Heedless of you, they struggle to get as far away from the sedan chair as they possibly can. Just a precious moment, and then you all feel an unnatural terror sweeping over your very souls...

Robert hurls a chakram from his high vantage-point, but sees his throw unfortunately go wide.

Kyrax' blow goes wide as the Goblin neatly ducks under his attack, and jabs at the Dervish before he can tumble away. He comes to a halt quite close to Arma.
Goblin attack 1d20+2 for 1d4 damage..

Er, Kyrax rolled a nat 20 for a total of 26, confirming if an 18 hit. If a crit the blade flames up in fire doing a total of 24 damage. I do not understand how a nat 20 misses.

Male Human (Tian-Shu) Sorcerer 3

Zhu is unnerved by the terrifying presence of the Keleshite rider, but he stands his ground. Once a man has felt the stare of a kraken, what else is left to fear? he thinks, trying to bolster his confidence.

Natural 20 on the Will save, if that matters: 1d20(20) + 3 = 23. He wasn't near the sedan.

Male DM DM 10

My apologies to Kyrax. I have no idea how that went wrong, I promise it's not personal. *sighs* Yes, indeed. You split your Goblin from stem to stern. As the Goblin goes down, you notice a particularly fine-looking amulet was around his throat -- except now it falls free!

Male Human (Tian-Shu) Sorcerer 3

Zhu unhooks his crossbow, already loaded, and takes aim at the Keleshite rider. "Rider!" he calls out. He hopes that his voice doesn't crack -- there's something unnatural about the aura of fear that the man radiates. "Stay away from the sedan!" he warns.

As his scimitar blazes with the glory of Sarenrae for an instant Kyrax's quick hand darts out to claim the amulet. The bard turns to look for his next foe as he pockets his prize when he feels the rush of air near the sedan chair.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

He has not been able to close to the chair so the wind is not so strong, but still it knocks him from his feet. Even with a +4 for not being adjacent to the sedan chair yet, he failed.

Looking up he sees the might griffin and its rider. Trying to stand he feels the wave or terror wash over him.

Will Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

to his shame Kyrax drops his dark metal blade in fear, stand and runs from this new foe. moves 30' feet this round.

Male Human Rogue (Swashbuckler) 3

Robert falls from the sedan chair. As he looks around trying to take a better look at the griffin, an unexplained fear enters him and he feels the need to run away. He does his best to escape the vicinity of the sedan chair and looks for safety in the woods.

Male Human (Tian-Shu) Sorcerer 3

One last thing: Since Zhu has done only a move action to grab the crossbow, he will ready a standard action to fire that crossbow at the rider if he makes a threatening move (at least what Zhu interprets to be a threatening move) against the sedan's occupants or its guards.

Noya runs into the woods in fright.

Male DM DM 10

Arma and Zhu find themselves standing alone, facing the gryphon as it almost daintily grips the sedan. The instant the vehicle is jostled, there is a hoarse scream from within, and out comes Lady Secunda.

You can see the Chelish noblewoman violently shove at the girl she is supposed to be chaperoning, eager to be the first one out, pushing her back inside while she spills onto the ground. Secunda looks up in terror at the Keleshite on his mount -- and when he laughs mockingly at her, she flees into the woods with a wail of despair.

You stand -- and someone comes running past you. It is the Goblin with the torch, screaming imprecations at the top of his voice as he swings his improvised weapon at the enemy so clearly out of his reach.
"Mine!" he wails. "It's mine! Go away! Give it! Mine! Terror will be all!"

A second wave of supernatural fear washes over the battlefield, but Arma and Zhu feel it only passingly; the blast of magic is aimed not at you, but at the Keleshite and the flying beast. The spell must have affected the lady Valeria as well, for you hear her wail and sob as twin terrors affect her mind, bidding her flee yet preventing her from doing so at the same time.

"Terror will be all," the Keleshite agrees as he reaches into his robes and brings out what looks like a chapbook, "but you will not rule it, Bangu-Bangu. That pleasure is for worthier creatures."

His dark eyes sweep across Arma and Zhu, and a sneer of contempt and surprise passes over his face. "Strong-willed," he remarks, "for insects." With a flick of the wrist, he opens the chapbook and riffles through its pages, muttering under his breath. Magic flares and clashes all around the sedan chair, whose wooden parts warp and clench together, turning it from a vehicle into a cage in scant moments. "Insects should know their place!" the Keleshite roars at you all. "Up!"

The griffon screeches obediently and starts to flap its wings, lifting the sedan...! Again, you hear the Lady Valeria scream inside!

***********************************************************************

The rest of the group charges blindly into the forest, supernatural terror nipping at your heels. But the feeling starts to subside as soon as you lose sight of the road, the sedan chair and the griffon hovering over it, however.

Ahead of you in the distance, you hear and see red-painted Goblins as they crash through the undergrowth, yelping and howling their dread. Behind you, however, there is still conflict taking place -- and as the terror wanes, feelings of shame and resolve start to swell to take its place...!

Kyrax is not an accomplished arcane caster, but he understands what has happened to his group. This helps mitigate the shame of running away for him. He is not pleased he was forced to run but also knows that powerful magics were in play. Gauging the danger, he chooses to run back to where the sedan chair was last, hoping to rejoin his comrades, assess what has happened, and, hopefully find his sword.

Female Android Armor Master Fighter 3rd

Arma tries to move into the sedan and yet as both the fleeing of Lady Secunda and the magic make that almost impossible. She at least moves to try and grab hold of it as the magic begins to change it. She grips whatever she can and holds on tight...

"YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER!"

FOR THE DM! Arma's Climb Roll:

Climb Roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Arma will not let go for any reason. However should she keep hold when it gets high in the air and fall from there she will spend her hero point to survive the fall.

Noya starts to head back to the group

human Inquisitor (preacher) of Abadar 1

Annalise stumbles to a halt, and becomes vaguely aware that she isn't holding her repeating crossbow anymore. Looking around, she realizes she is dozens of yards away from the road, from her weapon, and most importantly, from her charge. "No!" she shouts, finally mastering her fear enough to turn back and begin running through the woods once more, hoping against hope that she is not too late.

Female Human Wiz/9 | AC 18* T 17* FF 17* | HP 46/46 | F +5 R +5 W +8 | Init +7| Perc +1|Sense Motive +1

The webs of fear clear from Pontia's vision. Oh, you will pay for that. She lets the goblins flee and turns back towards the site of the battle, ready to speak the words that will give her more cover if needed.

Male Elf Two-Handed Fighter 3 (Perception: +8, AC: 16, Touch: 13, FF: 14, HP: 24/25, F: +4 R: +3 W: +2)

Mirandix shakes away the blind terror then turns and heads back to the sounds of battle, taking note of the sedan chair being lifted into the air. A sounds of frustration escapes him as he tries to remember where he dropped his sword. I hate it when I have to chase them!
