It shouldn't completely stop, but I may end up missing the once a day mark here and there depending on how the schedule plays out. It will still be no worse than once every two or three days.

HP: 22/28 NL: 0 | AC 18/12/16 | F +5, R +2, W+1 | Per:+6, Init: +2 | Rage: 14/14

It's alright. Real life comes first.

Oh and it seems like Mags may be getting chewed up in combat more than everyone else. That last round hurt.

Merry Christmas to all. As a christmas present, I am giving everyone 1 free reroll that can be used on any roll at any time.

Hurray!

Merry Christmas!

Or:
Other religion and/or region appropriate holiday!

I've waited as long as I can without making some kind of decision. If either of you know of any interested replacements, go ahead and have them post on this thread, and I'll figure out how to get them worked in. If I can get at least two more without reopening formal recruitment, we'll just keep going on, and see who, if anybody, of the others returns. Otherwise, I'll have to explore further recruitment options.

I pinged people on my shortlist and they replied almost instantly, heh.

I have three confirmed additions. I think five is a good number. I told them to check in and figure out characters from there.

Male Human Paladin/20

I play in another campaign with Krojun and would love to join. I'll work on a character tonight. Anything needed specifically?

We have a melee-summoner and a melee-bard thus far. We should be good on tanking/melee. Pretty much anything else would be good - arcane, divine, roguery, ranged.

Female

I'm also with Krojun in another game and got pinged by him. :)

Jman, you have any idea what you might like to play yet? I'm trying to make up my mind what I'd like to go for.

Hello all,
One of Krogun's pings checking in. I know Joy and was in a (short-lived) RotR game with Jman. Small world. :)

If the others don't mind, I wouldn't mind running a sorcerer or witch - something arcane.

I vote for sorcerer!

The world needs more charisma.

My main pbp character is a wizard so I am good with that. I will either do a ranged damage dealer or a support/buffer/healer depending on Joy's decision.

I will play whatever is needed. You can choose first. ;)

Hi Joy! Hi Haldhin! Hi other guy!

As long as we get some full casters and there's a healer in there somewhere, I'm good. Copper can cover most of our rogue stuff.

Female

Waves to Rohan. I remember you from DM Morvius's Chelish Heroes game. I played Lucrezia. ;)

Female

I think I will go with Rogue for this one. I can go level up and tweak a previous RotR submission.

How was the 2nd level hit die handled?

I know. Both Joy and Haldhin know Lucius. :) I also know that Lucrezia has moved on and works with Andrea who's invaded my CoT thread.

Leveling time. If you could all post your updates once you have leveled so that I know when you are done, we can keep things moving along. HP is either half+1 or roll (reroll a 1 once).

The only recommendation I would make is that someone consider something that has healing as at least a backup role. You may not need it much in combat, but even if it's just another character that can use a wand afterwards, it may prove useful. APs have a way of producing some rather nasty fights at times, and while I try to adjust them as much as possible, time is sometimes a bit limited to do so.

Other than that, welcome aboard. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

specifics for character building: 20 point buy, 2 traits, one of them being a campaign trait (I do have a few traits I have made some slight modifications to, such as heirloom weapon), 1,000 gp of wealth, and a brief description of personality, background, and why you are in Sandpoint; a decent well written paragraph is sufficient for the latter, I just need enough to get started. Also, I don't mind crazy, off the wall options, just keep in mind that the world will react accordingly. HP: 1st lvl max, every level beyond, half+1 or roll(reroll a 1 once), with the decision made at each level independently.

Male Human Paladin/20

I will do a character that has healing potential.

Baby stayed up later than usual so not much time to work on the character tonight, but will have it finished tomorrow.

Currently looking at an aasimar or human sorcerer.

Here is what I have so far (in his profile). It is a cleric of Desna.

Half-Elven Rogue Lvl 3 HP 19/19 INIT+6 AC 16 CMB+4 CMD+16 MW Rapier/MW S. Sword (+6,+4/+2) 1d6+2/18-20x2/19-20x2 S. Bow (+5) 1d6+2/x3 (F:1 R:9 W:1)

Looks like I may be a day late checking in ... Hey guys, I'm back after going dark, very sorry. Between the x-mas break, family and work stuff ... Then the thought of how much I'd have to do to catch up ... Ok here I am, ready to dive in ... If you'll have me.

You're still fine. I can run with 6 comfortably, even 7 if Mags shows back up.

As much as I liked playing with Mags, I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Female

Rethinking my concept since Talon has returned. I'll post something else later today.

Yea, I don't like big groups either. Well, welcome back Talon.

Joy if you want to go divine, I'll rethink my build. I am flexible.

Female

I was thinking of taking at least one level of divine, haven't fully decided on something yet.

Might I suggest a Varisian bard, Joy? I have a feeling you'd be good at it. :) That would mean we'd have more inspire courage available if needed or Krojun could use his bardic performance for his Thundercalling stuff. Plus you help help cover the knowledges we don't have too.

I agree with the knowledge skills need. If Joy would rather play a divine caster or ranger, I could switch to a bard. I am open. I can even drop if there are too many.

If I stay divine, how do you feel about my build Rohan? Advice?

And I agree...joy would be a great bard if she likes that role.

Female

A bard would actually be quite similar in attitude and background to my varisian dancer/performer rogue.

So, Bard it is. :)

Caedmon

The build is fine, though we don't need anymore melee. And I wouldn't prep obscuring mist. That has a tendency to do more harm than good. But Travel and Luck are both good domains.

Joy
:)

Female

Thinking of working at the Kitten as an entertainer while I'm trying to get an audition at the Sandpoint theater.

He is not melee. He is a controller/buffer/healer. He sits on the second line and takes AOOs when available. Have to have something to do until you are high enough level to have enough spells to cast more that one per encounter ;)

Fair enough. Though I'm already in the second rank because I use a longspear too. Guess Copper can tank then...

Fear the battle-eidolon!

Female

Work in progress being built here.

Male Eidolon(Quadruped) (HP 10/10; AC:16, T:14, FF:13; Fort:+2 Ref:+5 Will:+0; Init+3; Perception +12) (Effects: None)

I didn't realize you were second line. :( I may tweak him then. It sucks to be a full caster (Druid, cleric, wizard) until about 5th level.

Female

Mostly done with my bard. Just need to finish up my eq list.

Female Human Bard

Here's my bard. :)

And here is her full back tattoo. The tips of the wings stretch to the tip of each shoulder.

Nice.

Looking forward to some duets. =P

I think she'd rather teach me to dance than have a duet with you. Being that she's a dancer and all. :)

Female Human Bard

I can sing and dance and shoot a bow. Very multi-talented. :)

Impressive.

Female Human Bard

Why is that? Just because those were the same perform skills that Lucrezia had? ;)

L2 Cleric of Starsong AC 18/14/15, HP 22/22, Saves: 5/5/7, Perc 5, Init 5

OK. Redid the cleric. What do you think? I can give my domain abilities away and do it from range. I also have the cool Harrow Card deal every morning. Thoughts? Opinions? Advice?
