I figure that I was in town for the Festival with a group of Varisian Gypsies who were selling their wares and telling fortunes. I need a hook for joining the group. I need to read back and see how far you are into the action.

Everything looks good so far. The older folks need to deal with the loot from the dungeon, and if need be, I may add gold and items for the new folks, but otherwise, I think we should be good to get back on track shortly.

What did Tsuto and father have for weapons? Were they given to us or would Ameiko want them?

Tsuto actually had some impressive gear; I hadn't realized they had him statted up as a 4th level npc. Composite shortbow, right of protection +1, masterwork thieves tools, masterwork flute, and a fair amount of coin, gold dust, and silver dust that I will determine the precise amount of once you've done the math on the rest, and I know what, if any, adjustments I need to make to what the coin amounts I've already stated. The father's items are family heirlooms, so you don't get to keep them, but I'll figure out some kind of appropriate reward for those.

Did I see that the initiative is a straight d20 roll with no pluses? If so, I will need to change out a trait ;)

Initiative modifiers do apply; I'm just trying different ways of handling the series of smaller encounters that last only a round, maybe two if the party is rolling poorly. For those, I am leaning toward applying the party average vs the monster average, but for the important fights, everyone's initiative is rolled individually.

Counting the loot from the dungeon, Krojun's total wealth comes in just shy of 2k gold. That's not including the wand.

Krojun picked up a job at the Kitten when he heard that the woman that owns and runs the place favors shoanti for her bouncers. Some of the patrons were disappointed when they found out he was there to protect them and not part of the entertainment.

I can make it work; the fact that I've already started to try to pull the essence of the smaller, shorter combats into the campaign without relying on having to play them out in full will help tremendously, and will probably accelerate. Similarly, my efforts to simplify dungeon exploration will help as well, so the pieces are in place to make a large party work, they just need some more refining and fine tuning.

You and Talon were MIA with no word for two weeks so we recruited replacements enough to get us up to a party of five. Now we suddenly have seven.

I trust Voice when he says he can make it work. I expect everyone to do their part to help make that true. Voice is being way more lenient than I would have been.

I thought I saw some new faces.

I'm at work, so I'll have to explain later, but I wanted to thank VoW for taking me back. ( If he doesn't that's fine too, and I wish you guys luck. I'll just be watching from afar. :) )
