"Sri" is an honorific sort of like "Master," and Kamath I took to be his first name. ETA: The Fount of All Knowledge on "sri."

would you permit me to make a few slight changes to ajerviskanis?
I may drop the Wanderer Archetype, and make a slight adjustment to his feats.
Also, What dmg would you think is suitable for his walking stick as an improvised weapon?
Ajerviskanis
Will drop the Wanderer Archetype, losing survival as a class skill.
Dropping combat expertise as a feat and taking Catch off guard.
Also taking Improved Disarm as the gained feat for 1st level as a monk.
Where is the information for the hanbo book-wise? There's only a brief description in the adventurer's armory.

Reminds me... a little change to my Xmas gift list. If you'd be so kind as to replace:
ITEM #2
Masterwork Hanbo 301 GP
With:
Masterwork Fry Pan or whatnot
That would be grand, thanks!

just so everything is above-board, I have corrected an oversight in his stats as following:
27 pt buy
str 12
dex 14
con 14
int 13
wis 15 (+2 racial) 17
cha 14
adjusted for old age
str 10
dex 12
con 12
int 14
wis 18
cha 15
i have also adjusted the number of languages to account for change in archetype.

Ajer, improved disarm isn't available until 6th level, even as a monk bonus feat.

Vak, I am interested in seeing how inquisitor and soul knife stack. I tried the psychic warrior/soul knife, and found it quite good.
Look forward to seeing some great synergy with judgements (and bane) on the soul blade.
Braydon Chem
This build's got SAD all over it. Inquisitor adds wisdom to a lot (spells, knowledge checks, even initiative). The judgements are a good on-the-fly situational adjustments (more damage for this? Got it. Better saves, yeah.) The spells are just gravy (and nice gravy too - Knock & Invisibility for 2nds? Sweet.)
This build is based around Braydon's temple background and his teacher's fighting style ('Yogen-sha no ken' - he hasn't gotten around to explaining that part yet).
Psychic warrior is a great class, and would be the third in the gestalt if I took one. I find psychic warrior overlaps a little too much with soulknife (especially with some of the archtypes (like Gifted) in Advanced Psionics). The Warrior paths for the Psychic warrior give you some great expansion room for customizing them.
I think it's gonna be a lot of fun to play.
Vak, I'm looking forward to seeing what Unbreakable brings to things. And, of course, how you use those bonus feats.

Cooking is very important. I have a life oracle in a Serpent's Skull PbP with Profession (Cook/Wine Snob) and a distinct gourmand streak. (Tasting part of the giant crab the party had just killed kind of ruded out one of the other characters. I don't know why he was complaining; I rinsed it off first.)
Re soulknife, the blade skills are going to be interesting, too. I've got a path in mind for the next few levels, focusing on mobility and TWF feats, then branching into battlefield control (trip or disarm), but we'll see.

profession: wine snob. that's gold
Stuck on smugglers shiv with nothing but a sour vintage of merlot and coconut grog must be torturous.
I have a character I've been trying to get into a game that's an Mind chemist archetype with many levels in brewing. He makes craft beer that gives people hallucinations. He is obsessed with unlocking the part of the mind that opens one up to prophecy. Through beer.
Ikshvaku "Vak" Charayana
The character's a remittance man; life oracles aren't that popular in Cheliax, so his family (who had pretensions to nobility) suggested that he might want to take a long trip. Sargava lacks decent wine, but I'm playing his foodie tendencies as part of a larger joie de vivre that extends to trotting around in the wilderness and appreciating life in all its varieties there. (And "appreciating" is occasionally synonymous with "eating," yes.)
Kayosin
Spiral, I've been meaning to ask you about Kayosin's Prehensile Tail.
Prehensile Tail (2 RP) : Prerequisites : None; Benefit :
Members of this race have a long, flexible tail that can be used to carry objects. They cannot wield weapons with their tails, but they can retrieve small, stowed objects carried on their persons as a swift action.
So what all does this allow him to retrieve as a swift action?
Potion?
Dagger?
Thieves Tools?
Scroll from Scroll Case?
Wakizashi?
Shortbow?
Just want to know what to expect to be able to do.
The_Ninja_DM
This is the relevant line from the description of a Handy Haversack: Retrieving any specific item from a haversack is a move action, but it does not provoke the attacks of opportunity that retrieving a stored item usually does.
This is the relevant line from the description of Prehensile Tail: Many tieflings have tails, but some have long, flexible tails that can be used to carry items. While they cannot wield weapons with their tails, they can use them to retrieve small, stowed objects carried on their persons as a swift action.
This seems to be the important part: -while they cannot wield weapons- followed by -they can use them to retrieve small, stowed objects- so it depends on the definition of small items/objects. Given a refence to the hilt of a weapon being able to conceal a small object, I'd have to say nothing larger than a dagger can be retrieved as a swift action. To get a weapon out would take a move action.
This FAQ is also relevant: Can you pick up or manipulate an object in a square within your reach? Does this provoke an attack of opportunity? Does it provoke even if the foe can reach the object, but not your space?
The rules are a little hazy here, but to put it simply, you can affect objects and creatures within your reach. When picking up or manipulating objects, you generally provoke an attack of opportunity, but only against foes that can reach your space. You do not provoke attacks of opportunity from foes that cannot reach you, no matter what action you are taking, even if it includes reaching into a threatened space. Although it might seem realistic to allow an attack in such a case, it would make the game far too complicated.

Cool. That makes sense. Is a potion small enough to draw with his tail as a move action? And maybe thieve's tools?
EDIT: And secondarily, he can still hold whatever with his tail, right? Just not use it as a hand for any purposes other than drawing (small enough objects) or holding stuff.
That being the case, can kayosin switch items from hand to tail with the same action (a free action according to general consensus on the boards) as switching an item from hand to hand?
