Well, explained like that, it seems that your roles should be different enough for my tastes. It's too bad that we don't have any Bards in the party. With all of these people who like to mix it up in melee, it would be pretty awesome, but I already got my character approved, so I guess I will stick with what I got.
We don't have a bard, but Ajerviskanis has Advice, which behaves like Inspire Courage/Competence/Greatness.
Kayosin is a Rogue/Magus, so he's up on the trap detection/removal as well. He's also another mobile, flanking single-target damage dealer via sneak attack and spell combat. That's not to say there's not a place for some duplication of skills.
I did build him to fit the scouting/trap-foiler role.
Either concept could work. Like Strae said, in a party of gestalts, there's bound to be some overlap.
Also, just as a heads up, I'm going to be trying to find times to use concealment spells (Obscuring Mist/Darkness) and his racial to make use of Shadow Striker and Moonlight Stalker feats when possible. I'll try to remain aware of how that affects my teammates as i do so. :)

Ajerviskanis is something of an ascetic, so his money is generally given away. So he is ready to go.
RE-working gear now... will have it updated soon. It's not too different from what Kayosin already had... just with a few scrolls, probably.
