Every time I see "red zone" in the Trignotarbs fight info, I think of the movie Airplane...
Male announcer: The red zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the white zone.
Female announcer: No, the white zone is for loading of passengers and there is no stopping in a RED zone.
Male announcer: The red zone has always been for loading and unloading of passengers. There's never stopping in a white zone.
Female announcer: Don't you tell me which zone is for loading, and which zone is for stopping!
Male announcer: Listen Betty, don't start up with your white zone s@!~ again.

Rapidstrike Bracers lv 15
Iron Armbands of Power (paragon) lvl
Boots of the Fencing Master (heroic)
Diamond Cincture any level
Elven Chain Shirt

You owe me a keyboard. I'd forgotten that and will now never be able to get it out of my head.

The Dawnblade is a signature part of the character so my goal is to update it via enchanting in the long run, but the others show promise.

Also, second time I've tried posting this. If it pops up twice, appologies.

you guys must not've caught the sarcasm I put OOCly in that big post I did.
Its just funny to me, to see the idea of a big battle, and this concerned look on Don's face as he looks over Kevaras who nearly died. Onlookers speculate that maybe he's coming around to this team idea and recognizes what could've happened if it weren't for unity.
Then he just asks for his potion back. Heh.
Still funny. heh heh.

Updated Greeg on character builder. Will transfer to online profile tonight.
Put his strength and dex up, which means his reflex defense went up too.
Took Hammer rhythm as a feat, so now I deal 4 damge with my hamer, even on a miss. I figured that might be useful hehe.
He's now 136 hit points of damage absorption too.
Cheers

I'm hearing you Detritus. Life gets more and more busy for me too. Best of luck with things mate, hoping it slows down for you soon.
I'm still in there Rev, though my posting may be patchy if there's much discussion type things going on. Marking load has increased again (seems to be that I just don't stop marking anymore. I spend more time assessing kids now days than I get time to teach them. Friggin ridiculus system we've got going here in Queensland)
Sigh
Thanks, now that's off my chest I'll get back into marking.
Cheers

I already posted on the Tombs thread that you'll be missed, detritus and the same is true here. It's been a pleasure to have you along for the ride.
If you ever want to come back, let me know. In the meantime, how about Dram and Dirt going independent to scour the tunnels for threats. I can see them doing that.
Wrath - I hear you on the marking, believe me I do. I don't have any essays, but I do have informal assessments to make and my brain is curdling.
On a practical note, we're now down to seven and I think it would be helpful to reconvene as a single group once more.

I have a question for those of you more familiar with the rules than I am.
I have a feat called crushing guardian that adds three to damage with my hammer in guardian form.
The other feat is Hammer Rythm which means I deal 4 damage on a target even if I miss.
Will these stack so in guardian form I'm doing 7 damage to targets even on a complete miss?
Also, minions have an ability that means they don't take damage from the "take x damage on a miss" rule that some special attacks have. Will this carry over to feats like the ones I listed above? I am assuming they are immune to this feat damage as they would any other miss type damage, but would like to know for sure.
Cheers

Wrath, the Crushing Guardian bonus is specific to damage rolls, so it would not stack with damage that doesn't involve a roll. And the question of its application to minions is moot, as any roll will kill them.
And "a missed attack never damages a minion," so no Hammer Rhythm either -- it would have to convert the miss to a hit to work.

Lots of odd vocabulary, yes!
Oklu are the blue/red dudes, awaiting the return of the masters. They tend to mimic people. I think the masters have been indefinitely delayed. Kadrana seems to be their deity.
Oma is a term of respect that we've been given by the north-wall oklu, and Cronin's found it buys some diplomacy points. Except when Don moves his lips.
Don't know about Malisillix -- is that someone the trignotarb group knows about?
| Rev Rosey |
Yes, it is a lot of new vocabulary.
I'll take a leaf from Celestial's divine guidance and post up some of the terms/creatures in my profile.
For now, a recap:
Kadralu - formerly flying city you are exploring.
Kadrana - the race of giants who used to inhabit it. The oklu refer to them as the masters. Died out 500 years ago when the city crashed. Cause of crash so far unknown.
Kaima - the goddess in whose honour the city was built by the Kadrana
Trignotarbs - outlandish parasitic insects who aren't supposed to exist. Recently undergone a regime change courtesy of the PCs.
Oklu - servitor race created by Kaima to serve the Kadrana. Or so they (mostly) believe. They imprint strongly from those they percieve as worthy. i.e Cronin and to some extent Kevaras have been very successful with them, Don noticeably not.
Malsalix - unpleasant plant

In some of the early stuff, we found out the name of the giant chief who had organized the raids. The giants said he was up in the city too. I cant remember if we found his name or not, but when we were fighting the glass golems, we were shouting something out.
Would be good to chase that info down too. However, Greeg's unlikely to think that through, someone else might just come up with it though. Probably Don, in a suitably blunt kind of way.
Cheers

The temptation for Guldarin to notice he's being surreptitiously checked out by Keveras, and leap to a conclusion about why, is one that must be resisted. Or not.
If Kevaras were to take Guldarin home with him to Alythiira, she would either kill him or braid his beard. Neither is a good outcome for Guldarin, I think.
