You are the best gobbo’s around. You could do things no other goblin could! You could fly, or you could eat, or you could kill dogs, or you could eat, or you could hide or you could eat.
If only they would let you out of this cage!
The cage you have been in your whole life encompasses a 60 by 60 foot clump of forest. Sometimes foxes or rats or bigger things get in, but you are the best! The creatures can never beat you! Except when they do. Then you run.
One day, you are all walking through the woods, never having talked to each other before You can decide differently for this if you want, when you stumble into a clearing, and a big male gobbo is standing there! The size of your mam and nanna blue fingers, the goblin matron. He gots big red eyes and a tooth filled grin, and wears a cat-skin cloak, and not much.
”Heyza little gobs.” The big goblin smiles a toothy grin, ”I be Flek cooking-cats. You have names?” He give a big grin, and looks so nice that you almost puke.
And so it begins. Your tribe is called the Three Forest Tribe, and you live smack in the intersection between Nettlewood, Mosswood, and Shank’s wood. Obviously, this makes all other goblins very confused. The Thistletop’s think you are the Mosswood’s, the Mosswood’s think you are the Seven Tooth’s, and the Seven Tooth’s think you are the Thistletop’s. It has everyone very confused, even the Three Forest’s at times.

As Torch introduced himself to Flek, a blurry little gobbo flies between them. "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... I be flyi... OUTCH!" ...Just to hit a tree and bounce back a couple feet.

Still dizzy, Ulk walks towards the other gobbos with a big bump above his right eye.

"I be Ulk, the flying gobbo!" He then turned left and yelled. "IT BE GREAT FLIGHT, PUCK! IF NOT TREE, I BE FLYING OUT!"


Puck trots into view. "It good flight Ulk, but tree is everyplace. They try to get in way, and den you not get past!" Puck glares at the tree's.
Fleck watches in amusement. "You be little fly gobbo huh?" Then he looks around in confusion, "How you fly jus' there? You got sling or sometin'?"

Ulk smiles at Fleck's recognition of his amazing abilities. It was the first time anyone, besides little Puck, got interested in his project/dream. Hoping to take all the credits of the flight, Ulk shoos Puck.

"Yeah! Big sling... tried to make a 'big bolt launching machine for little gobbos' but have not material here... so yeah, big sling!" He then looks at Spooky Mags and laughs. "See? I be smarter... you just spooky!"


"Gip is Gip. Always Gip. Sometimes think maybe have other name, but Gip is bestest name! In up in Above Light is good name!" Says the tiny gobble with moss stuck to his chin and cheeks.

Mags walks up to Flek, standing as tall and straight as she can. "Who you? Why you in Mags' forest?"


Fleck looks down at Spooky Mags in confusion, "You forest? Which one? We's in three forests right now, which one be yours? Never mind, doesn't matta. I gots a job for you!" Fleck grins, and a piece of cat tail falls from between his teeth. He settles down to give an explanation.

"You see's, there's a slither* in me cooker place, and it keepson stealin' me foods! I would kills it meself, but its too fast, always slthers in its hole. But you could fit down there!. Strange slither too." He frowns "Like a bighead slither, a cabra. But weird. I think it really horse in disguise. I give you good thing if you kill slither. What you want?"

I believe Bitey may not be posting for a while, as Threeshades has not posted since monday. I'll give Bitey till the 27th to post, and then look for someone new.

"Ooooooh! Yes! Killz horse slither and and make yummy soup! Then get longshank fingers for crunchy foods!" Gip says as he rummages through his bundle for his hitty sticks and gets them out.


"Hows about his? Wez you kills it, you gets free! No more cage! I make you soup from slither, and we have a feast of freedom! Good idea?"

"Hrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!" A shrubbery begins to rustle and out of it bursts another tiny goblin, screeching and galopping toward the group on one hand and two feet, the other hand dragging a stick behind him and the mouth on its big head wide open baring sharp teeth.

The stick flies off to the side as the new arrival pushes himself off the ground and leaps towards Flek, who moves out of the way of his clasping jaws and watches him plant his face in the dirt and slide on it for a few feet, before he comes to a stop and frantically gets back on its hand and feat turning toward the group snarling: "Bitey eat slither! No cook! make meat mushy and stupid!"

"Good! We has deal! We kill the slither and we be outofa cage, we be eating soup... and you big gobbo help mez flying!" He then looks around, making sure their matron was not hearing.

"Matron say little gobbos no flying, say no gobbo flying, but she be stupid like dog, no smart like Ulk."

She squints up at the older gob. "Freedom from boring cage sound good! Sound like we have deal. Except for whiny Bitey, but no one care what he think."


"Heh, tats good. We goes now!" Fleck moves off, motioning for the gobbos to follow.
You move off, out of the cage for the first time in your life. You walk along a dusty path, through the village in the undergrowth, and into the kitchen hut. Inside it resembles an overcrowded kitchen with rats and mice and frogs hopping all over the place. A pot of something bubbles on the hearth.
"Alright, I be leaving you know. Hole is there," he waves in an arc that encompasses the inside of the hut, and about half of the forest, on its wake. He then hurries out, locking the door behind him.

Bitey takes his stick and begins curiously prodding the hole with it.


"Is okay, Bitey Bite! Hole not gonna bite you, only tasty slither snack! Go hitits it!" Gip says eagerly as he tries to push Bitey into the hole, eager to kill the slither and get some food again!

With a poorly made crossbow almost of his size, Ulk got ready to enter the hole, even if a bit unsure.

Mez hate holes... to small, to low, no open air, no flying.

"Gip right! Move Bitey... you go first or no slither for you to bite... and we make soup! Big gob was wrong, mez sure this no horse..."

With Gip's move Ulk laughs madly. "Little gobbos persuasion!"

Bitey snarls and snaps at Gip, but curiosity takes over and he crawls deeper down the hole.

You crawl through the hole, Torch's namesake lighting the way, and come into a small hole, with passages leading off in several different directions.

He shakes the dagger incredulously.

"He talk all the time when you not around. Swear it! Is shy. Anyway, me an' stabby go check."

Ked does his little color trick where he blends in with the walls and sneaks down the "other left" tunnel, eyes keen.

Torch finds the shiny thing. It is a awesome looking sword! Seems like glowing, but not. At the moment it counts as a shortsword, but is a dagger for small size creatures. Anybody who uses detect magic on it can see that it is magic.
As you go down the other left passage, a creature rears up ahead of you that is most decidedly not a snake It resembles a miniature horse head with a tentacle growing out of its neck, it floats menacingly in the air, and you feel a hatred growing in you, saying: "Kill the horse!"

Ked, confident there's no way this thing sees him, pulls out his sling in his other hand and loads it, hugging the wall so Bitey or someone else can charge ahead. That's not how he lived this long!

As Gip looks at the dagger, he gets a strange feeling in the back of his nose, almost as if a booger came alive. He then nearly falls over at the onslaught of feeling from his sniffer.
Congratulations Gip, you now have Spellsniff. This alerts you to the presence of the creature.
The creature looks around for the goblin it thought is saw a moment ago.

At Ked's surprise and subsequent fall, Ulk looks down the hole before also jumping.

"Good flying Ked! Mez prefer flying from high places..."

With all his fear, Ulk lets loose his crossbow at the terrifying monster.

Ulk lets off a shot at the monster, hitting it point blank in the eye. It gives a terrible whinny, and dies. Suddenly, you see more eyes, at least 4 pairs, glimmering in the darkness.
Same initiative, everybody make a DC 14 will save or sickened by the whinny for 1d4 rounds. I also do not mind if you post out of initiative order, I can sort it out.

Ked swings around the sling and chucks a bullet at one of the spirits.

Having imagined what a poop horse snake would look like, and then hearing that sound, Gip found himself feeling quite ill. Even so, he tried throwing one of his hitey sticks at the eyes suddenly opening up.

Alright, Mags quit, so I'll say she never left the cage.
Ulk slays the first creature, but is occupied with that as more appear. The goblins tumble to attack, and Bitey's greatclub misses the creature as it dodges back, and it retaliates with a tentacle, and its friend bites down. Gip and Torch attack a creature, and manage to bring it down, filling the cave with the delicious scent of burning flesh. Ked fires, but misses and the creature gives him a nip in the leg for revenge.

Ked rolls back five feet from the retaliation's smack, shaking his head with dizziness (staggered for this round), but he steps up (5ft step) and stabs the creature with Stabby.

"Arghhh... whinny poop! Mez head... and mez tummy..." he put his hand over his tummy, completely terified of loosing the delicious dog balls stew he ate earlier.

He then saw Bitey trying to hit the other poops.

"HHAHAAHHAA... stupid Bitey! I be bestest fighter! I never miss! I be master of flying bolts, and jars, and little gobs... and poop also!"

Ulk started then to fight with his clumsy crossbow to reload it. Stupid thing... i need be more fastest... If it is ok, Ulk spent round 1 reloading his crossbow... if not, he will spend this turn with the reloading.

He finally made it, took aim and let a bolt loose.

These creatures must be even dumber than goblins, because they aren't doing anything! One of their tentacles manages to score a hit of Bitey's arm, but he barely even feels it through his muscle. All the goblins release a flurry of attacks, with only Torch and Gip hitting. Together, the two manage to take down another creature, its eyeballs sizzling nicely in the small caves stale air.

When the tentacle smacks Ked, he wobbles back a bit.

"You stoopid horse thing. Ked tells you, he is not not hurt by you...dizzy though..."

Ked stumbles forward (5ft step), and trips over his own two feet, catching his balance as he stabs at the creature circumstantially.

"Whoa, wait, ack!"

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Damage: 1d2 ⇒ 2

Apparently, clumsy Ked is a better fighter when he's tripping over his own feet.

You don't need to do that. The damage it shows is the total damage. You didn't even get hit this turn. Sorry about putting the 1 damage, I forgot to change it to 0. The only person who actually got hit was Bitey.
