Amira:
These are Scarecrows, mindless constructs, they use fear against opponents, Fire is good, Cold is useless.

Yandu, Anya would have heard Kulik’s statement about not using Fire against the Produce Mound. Do you wish to adjust her action?

I will assume Anya throws the Alchemist Fire at the Scarecrow on the left instead. Timber takes 1 splash damage.
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1x1.5

Amira produces an area of calm. Erin can act normally this round.

At this point the party remembers that they have two live, captured thugs behind the Avocado stand...

Unless they were showing signs of resisting further or readying to book out of there, they weren't selected out of the channels, either.

"Ah, right. Thanks for the reminder, Zeeva. I had forgotten about them." Amira looks at Ashur. "Do you mind if I attemt to solve this problem without sharp objects or blunt trauma? If we can trust them to not run, we could discuss this on the hunt." Without waiting for a response, Amira looks to the thugs. "If our group has no objections, can we trust you? On my honor as Abadarian clergy, I can promise nothing in payment but an attempt to reduce your impending sentence."

SM: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20 Do you want me to roll these if I'm prompting it? If so, do you want them in a spoiler tag? Not 100% on how you operate.

The ranger looks over at the captives, grunts, and turns back to the party. "Who wants a bit of light healing?"

Zeeva returns from checking on a few customers as the merchants begin to pick up the place. She seems concerned. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Thank the gods you were here to deal with it. Injured customers are bad for business. I hope this sort of think does not happen again. She does not sound confident that this will be the case.

Say, did you hear the chanting? It was in Shoanti, saying things like “You will bring no war here!”, “My people will be avenged!”, and “This is Shoanti land!”

Amira, you can roll them in spoilers or I will roll them for you.

The two surviving thugs seem scared enough, and willing to cooperate.

Sentence? Hey, we were just here to put a little pressure on the merchant lady. Then we see you all itching for a fight! Two of our friends are already dead. Can we not involve the city guard? Can we make a deal?

"I didn't hear any of that. I don't speak the language. But I think I have an idea of who sent the scarecrows now though.. Have you had any recent problems with the local tribesmen before?"
