Zaci the tiefling monk
Where are we in the inn? Sorry for the stupid question but rough day at work and my brain is fried. XP
Maldrek Kasidra
Maldrek heads back downstairs and shifts his disguise to include the emblem of a dove on his breast pocket. "Jarvin, was it? I think I'll need a drink before bed. Whatever the house reccomends."
Krayn La'jal
I'll just do my usual prayers and carve the deity symbol (eye-like rune) somewhere in the wooden floor of the room. Nothing special, for me we can skip ahead. :)

*star wipe*
It's approaching midnight, you are all sitting around a table in the inn, you have finished dinner of more of the same stew you had just this morning for breakfast. There is no one else in the main room of the Inn other than Jarvin, you not sure if you should just approach him and ask to talk or if you should wait till the appointed hour of midnight.
Jarvin has made no move to talk to you other than to ask if you would require more drinks or food. Your all watching the clock intently as the second hand ticks around 3/4 the way through its last circuit before midnight.
Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong, the old grandfather clock in the corner chimes away as it signal midnight, you all look to Jarvin in the kitchen, but he's not there. Its strangely quiet in the inn and the constant wind outside has seemed to stop for the first time since you have got of the boat.
You all hear the faint whinny of a horse out side, and a few seconds later the solid thumps of foots steps approaching the door to the inn. Time seems to stop as you all wait with baited breath to see who enters.
Your anticipation is ended by a sudden loud crack as the door to the inn fly's open and the form of a man steps through the door way.
Morgrym Black
After praying again for spells and finally getting rest Morgrym casts his extended non detection and fixes his disguise as Silas and is calm and waits the time eating and enjoying the peaceful inn until when the door gets busted in when he prepares himself for what ever may come
The White Dove
As the man enters the inn, he dusts off his cloak and he looks around the room, a wide smile growing across his face as his eyes settle on the group.
The man in front of you is middle aged, he is wearing a deep red cloak with red and black leather armor and a bladed whip at his hip. But the strangest thing about him is the white lace mask covering the bottom half of his face.
Ah good you are here! please let me introduce my self, i'm The White Dove and i have been hired to guide you to the silver mountain he then flourishes in a low bow.
We must leave shortly i hope you are ready to travel, for a few hours from now you will be literally in the belly of the beast and in the heart of the Technic league vault.
The White Dove
Why i seek vengeance against the technic league, ever since they came here and snatched up all the towns folk to work their mines, i've done what i can to disrupt their operation and free those i can, but they alway find more to replace the ones i free.
He walks to the bar and pours himself a drink I dont know what you've got planed all i know is that what ever it is its going to mess up the League big time and i'll be gad to lend my aid. but know this, this sint going to be easy i hope your ready for a fight
He turns around from the bar to face all of you, and you think you can make out the hint of a smile behind his lace face scarf.
Krayn La'jal
Equipped with the armor, backpack and weapons, Krayn limits himself to a nod to follow the man. If internally his natural mistrust kicks, externally he doesn't demonstrate or even seems to bother to check if the guide's story checks. The drow eyes go around the room, looking at his companions as he touches his hammer, and then he just follows in silence.
Zaci the tiefling monk
Zaci hissed as she listened to the man.
Tell me...errr...I mean us, what has the Technic League done with the people of this town? And do you know of any...Technic League members we should be wary of?
The tiefling monk was normally pragmatic, but the level of evil committed made her skin crawl.
The White Dove
they came here and snatched up all the towns folk to work their mines
Tiefling are you asking me which great white shark you should be wary of when swimming in the oceans? I would say any that have noticed you, for your time on this planet will be short after that.
He then gives you a wink before addressing the rest of the group again.
We ride north to the edge of the silver mountain, there is an old abandoned gold mine there, its why this town was built in the first place, still plenty of gold there too, problem is the tunnels got to close to the silver mount and a few unlucky miners even stumbled across some star metal, well it wasnt long before the Technic league was crawling all over the mines snatching the miners up as slaves
He sighs and drops his head as if remembering these things weighs heavy on him.
I know of a way through the mines, the technic league left some tunnels back to their bunker, they are probably blocked or guarded, or both but there is a way through. The Technic league has grown very powerful and this has made them complacent, we will have a small opportunity tonight while their security is changing over to sneak in
any other questions?
Zaci the tiefling monk
Zaci nodded her agreement as she brushed off some dust on her shoulder.
Let's be off shall we?
She hissed as she smiled.
Eleanora Aldori
"Marching into Silver Mount," Eleanora muses, shaking her head. "Why were you not summoned to Westcrown with us? This seems unusual, considering we all met at the same place." She stares unflinchingly at the masked man, awaiting a response; upon getting one, she nods. "Well, we'd best be off. We can't stand to miss our window of opportunity, can we?" She straightens her back, rolling her neck once in a controlled motion, and fetching her haversack, ready to leave.
The White Dove
My task was to get you into the silver mountain complex, that is all, as i mentioned earlier i am unaware of your exact mission. What ever powers that decided to round you all up in Westcrown clearly decide they didnt need me there. He says with a smile at Eleanora.
Well if there are no more questions then let us be off The white doves makes a flamboyant gesture towards the door and starts to head out side.
Once you all get outside, you see all your horses ready, the young stable hand Lenni is there making sure your horses are saddled correctly and ready to ride. You all mount up and follow The White Dove out of town as he leads you to the north. You ride for just under 2 hours before reaching a small outcropping of buildings. The silver Mountain rising above them not to far in the distance.
As you get closer to the building you notice they are mostly all warehouses and sheds, you don't notice any signs of life. The white dove leads you into one of the larger warehouses as he dismounts and begins to tie off his horse.
This is it, one building over there is a shaft that will get us down into the mines He whispers as if not wanting to wake the ghostly memories of this once busy mine. We will have to walk for a few hours to the east to get to the tunnels that connect to the silver mountain complex. They will most likely be blocked or guarded so be prepared and stay low and quite.
He then quietly moves over to the door you rode through and looks around before darting quickly over to a smaller shed and disappearing inside.
Krayn La'jal
Krayn follows with his usual silent expression. When they get closer to the building and the shed, he pulls his weapon and blinks, paying close attention to everything. Very well... - he thinks, and then reveals a somewhat maniac smile.
Zaci the tiefling monk
Zaci hissed in anticipation.
Why do I get this feeling we are walking into a trap?
She cautiously entered the mines, softly hissing to herself. She really did not like caves. They always made her...nervous.

As you enter the shed you see a hole in the center that is roughly 10ft across. There is a metal frame over the hole with a thick metal chain hanging down into the darkness.
As you peer down the whole even for those of you with dark vision you cant see any sign of the bottom. Once you have all enter the shed the White Dove casually jumps onto the chain and slides down in to the gloom disappearing out of sight.

Gulping she grabbed ahold of the chain and slid down behind White Dove hoping to get this over with quickly.
Krayn La'jal
Krayn closes his eyes, and then touches himself with the hand vibrating, while chanting some magical words.
Casting Levitate
The drow immediately starts coming out of the floor, and he walks towards the chain. He doesn't say anything, but he lifts his hand - as if offering to do the same with whoever wants it.
He will cast Levitate or Feather Fall in whoever wants it, and then proceed to go meet Zaci and the White Dove.
Zaci the tiefling monk
Zaci saw the Drow levitate and glared at the dark elf.
Cheater.
She hissed in annoyance.
Zaci the tiefling monk
Oh shut it , the tiefling hissed at comrades as they levitated down pass her, glaring at each one of them.

you all descend down 80ft to the bottom of the chain, the narrow shaft opens into a large cavern some 40ft across. there are several tunnels exiting the cavern in all directions.
The White Dove nods to wards one of the tunnels then quietly starts to head down into the darkness.
Those of you with out darkvision will need a light source as it is dark down here.
You follow your guide through a maze of twisting and turning tunnels, it would have taken you days if not weeks to navigate them without a guide. You have been walking for just over an hour down a narrow tunnel as you come to a t section. The white dove hold up his hand signaling for you all to stop as he peeks around the corner to the right then darts his head back quickly. He then looks to you and hold up 2 fingers while noding towards the direction he was just looking.
he then motions for all of you to get against the wall.

You all hold in your breath as what appears to be 2 heavily armored soldiers holding Halberds walk past not seeming to notice any of you.
These are clockwork soldiers, constructs and automation commonly used by the technic league as guards.
The clockwork soldier is a mechanical mercenary that fights to the death for its creator. With the ability to wield most weapons with full proficiency, clockwork soldiers are versatile and wholly unpredictable foes. Most are armed with magic weapons
Clockwork soldiers are among the most efficient constructs of their kind. They are ideal for sentry and guard duty. Clockwork soldiers have the same basic shape as a human. They are 6 feet tall and weigh 500 pounds.
can i also get a marching order from all of you please
Zaci the tiefling monk
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25. Checking to see if there are anymore guards and if these have spotted us yet in addition to anything that might be out of the ordinary like traps, magical alarms, etc.
Knowledge (Engineering): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Zaci hissed softly as they all passed by unnoticed by the strange guards. She didn't know what they were but they didn't seem alive, but they didn't look like undead.
Maybe one of the others knows what these strange guards are, she thought as she looked around for traps or more guards or anything else out of the ordinary.
Im behind White Dove.
Krayn La'jal
I will cast Light in a stone and keep it on stashed on the belt to work like a rudimentary torch. Krayn is probably towards the front of the party, right behind the frontliners.
Krayn can't avoid but smile again. He's hiding, as the others, but something inside him seems to scream for his attention. Was it time to use his hammer again? Maybe... - he thought - ... but what do we have here?
GM, if you'd be so kind... Could I get a rundown of the magic auras/objects on the soldiers?
Eleanora Aldori
I'll enter Unfettered Movement stance, setting my movement to 40 ft (and dropping my AC by 3). I'll go as close to the front as possible - if White Dove is leading us, and Zaci's behind him, then I guess I'll be behind her.
Eleanora flattens herself against the wall, holding her cloak over her chest with her free hand so Krayn's light won't reflect off her breastplate. "Let's watch for the patrols, take our next chance. Shall we?"
Morgrym Black
I will be behind Elenora and Zaci of its ten ft wide next to Elenora Without much word Morgrym will pull out a set of rings and place one on Elenoras hand using the second charge of extend rod for shield other on her and wearing the other ring myself
Maldrek Kasidra
Knowledge (engineering): 1d20 + 12 + 1d6 ⇒ (17) + 12 + (4) = 33
Maldrek waits until the guards pass and then explains what he knows about them. "We should examine to know when it's safe to pass."
I'm in the back, keeping an eye on our rear with 90 ft. darkvision.
