yes that does hit but she should be in my aura and subject to Untouchable Aura, i don't think she has rolled against it unless I missed something and it has three rounds left. DC 16 will negates.

Will: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (17) - 3 = 14 I think it is... so, nope. XD

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

Harath now brings his might to bear against the warlord, at long last.

claw 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
dmg: 1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 3 + (1) = 9

claw 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
dmg: 1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (1) = 6

bite: 1d20 + 7 - 5 ⇒ (10) + 7 - 5 = 12
dmg: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 3 + (1) = 7

bleed on her turn if any hit: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Your first and third blows missed - the second hit, causing a bit of bleeding... and right before your eyes, the bleeding stopped as her body began to rapidly repair the damage done to it. She grinned as she stepped backwards, dropping her melee weapon and drawing an unusual black bow instead. Without hesitation, she raised it and fired a single arrow at you.

Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 for Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

The warlord's arrow struck true, but Harath pulled the arrow out and the wound sealed over. (temp HP absorbed dmg)

Harath used the sheer power of his mind in an attempt to crush her will to live, or at least to fight.

"Cower in my presence, whelp. Your campaign is lost, your life my plaything, and your soul, I assume, is forfeit."

Mind Thrust: 4d10 ⇒ (4, 4, 7, 7) = 22

hoping this counts as an attack, so I can use my Divine Frightful Presence on her. Mind Thrust costs me 4 PP and DC 16 will negates; Divine Frightful Presence costs me 3 MP and DC 15 will negates (and the -4 from my aura should apply)

panicked rounds: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2) = 8

Unless stated otherwise, anything that deals damage or drain (either to HP or Abilities, in all but the weirdest corner cases) is assumed to be an attack. ^^

Will: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (15) - 3 = 12

Her mind wasn't able to resist the mental blast (although you could see the bleeding from her eyes and nose start to reverse, and fairly quickly at that)... and then your divine fear hit.

Will: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (16) - 3 = 13

She promptly took off running (although, somewhat oddly, the bow she had remained stuck to her hand even when it was opened, like it refused to be removed - an odd trait, that).

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

"THE HUNT BEGINS!" comes a voice from within Harath as a smile grows on his now-beastly face.

Harath races after the warlord, seeking to cut off her escape.

dang, was hoping she'd drop that bow. i can move 25ft on the map and get to the square down-right of her, and attack. as far as i can tell, panicked enemies cant attack or make AoOs, and my attacking her doesn't break the power, so i will move and make one attack. dunno what her fast healing is set at, but i don't have much in the way of beating that. not even a way to deal ridiculous damage.

bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
dmg: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 3 + (5) = 12

crit confirm?: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
more dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Your bite did quite a lot of damage - and she looked very hurt indeed by your bite, though her body continued to heal without pause the moment. Roughly a quarter of the damage you'd just done was already gone, and you could hear mocking laughter from her devilish companion as she continued trying to maneuver and get out of range.

AoO from you: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

how tough would it be to jump down to cut off her descent? jumping down in front of her way down i mean. since the fight is on the run i am only gonna get one attack per turn, trying to make up for that with AoOs as well.

Uh, figure a drop of 20 feet or so to get to the level below her. It's a relatively steep ramp. 10 feet if you go right in front of her.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

ah ok, i'll drop right in front of her so it's only 10ft and then attack her

bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
dmg: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 3 + (1) = 8

how does the bleed work with her fast healing? Obviously it seals the wounds so it wont continue more than one round, but should i still roll the d4 each round that a blow actually lands? I figure the bleed probably happens at the beginning of her turn and the FH at the end, but i am not at a good place to google that at the moment.

The description of fast healing-type abilities don't specify exactly when they occur, but I'd say at the very beginning of their turn. XD At least, I do your damage, then I apply their healing, then I do their move... Note that this can potentially benefit you, too. Basically, beneficial powers take effect before negative ones, and if they stop the negative ones from working, that's good for you.

Even as you bit out, the mentally-afflicted orc woman continued moving and dropped down to the next level, injured a bit more - and the Erinyes appeared about forty feet above you, chuckling. "I have no idea what that power was, but by Asmodeus, she's pathetic right now. Still, deals are deals." With that, the devil lifted her bow and fired an arrow down at you.

Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18

This time, at least, you were able to turn it aside.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

"But when she dies, her soul is yours, I assume."

i should get an AoO for her moving away?

bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
dmg: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 3 + (4) = 13

Harath bites at the warlord as she moves away, then follows her in an attempt to bite her again.

bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
dmg: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 3 + (1) = 9

Not for what was technically a 5 foot step.

The panicked orc darted back again as you ripped a little more flesh out of her body, and the Erinyes moved over from up above, then let loose with a barrage of arrows from her boyw. She was definitely the bigger threat right now, and taking full advantage of your focus on the orc. Fire flashed around her arrows as she fired them, giving added power to the one that actually hit.

Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29 for Damage: 1d8 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + 6 + (1) = 15
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

my thing is, if i don't kill the warlord, i have wasted the entire past week of this fight because she will just heal it back. fast healing ~5 basically halves my damage and with the time it'll take me to kill an enemy i can't engage in melee (because my ranged attacks i can either do every other turn or cost me a lot of PP) she will have healed all the way back up.

Yup. ...Enemies aren't always nice. XD Especially explicitly evil ones.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

and the warlord is entirely off the map?

No, she's right where I moved her. XD The reddish screaming orc icon.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

odd, that DEFINITELY did not render last night. And the E is flying above me right, not going to AoO since it has ranged weapons out?

Correct. The Erinyes - marked as E - is about forty feet above you. Two-dimensional maps don't display three-dimensional combat very well. XD

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

Ignoring the erinyes, perhaps to his detriment, he continued to try to finish off the warlord.

claw 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
dmg: 1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 3 + (3) = 9

claw 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
dmg: 1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 3 + (4) = 11

bite: 1d20 + 7 - 5 ⇒ (18) + 7 - 5 = 20
dmg: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 3 + (6) = 12

bleed on her turn if any hit: 1d4 ⇒ 2

None of your attacks quite managed to land. Would you like to try Surging that last one, or let her go with no damage this round?

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

eh, i'll surge. might as well give it my all.

surge: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Your attack moved through the air, and just barely failed to hit the woman as she danced back and out of the way. With that, she moved into a flat-out run this time-

AoO from you: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

-and darted away from you at top speed, still under the influence of your powers over fear. The Erinyes laughed at that, and rather casually sent another flaming arrow down your way.

Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26 for Damage: 1d8 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + 6 + (3) = 17

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

As the Nightmare Stone lends swiftness to his step with but a thought, Harath looks to the demon above.

"You are rather annoying, for one about to be free of their contract."

Harath then manifests Cloud Mind on the demon (DC 16 will negates) to mask his location. He then pursues the warlord.

not sure what speed she pulled off with her run but my speed is now double so perhaps not this round but next round i should be able to get her.

Roll for Power Resistance, please. ^^

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

power resistance: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Your power shattered against the Erinyes' protective barriers, and she laughed as another figure appeared, slamming into the orc leader as she moved. Moments later, it became clear that Vegazi had arrived. "Hadran!" she cried, ripping the bow from her mother's hands and hurling it towards you. "Use that against her! It'll bring her down to the ground!"

The Erinyes spun with a snarl, firing off a quick arrow that the orc-blooded woman barely managed to dodge.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

thinking to myself, now when the warlord drew the bow, did arrows just materialize or something? because i have 13 bolts but no arrows.

Yes, the arrows materialized.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

not sure how many i should roll here, but gonna take as many shots as possible here.

ranged attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 i think i should be at +6, 2 from dex and 4 from bab; not sure on dmg

Treat it as a +1 Composite Longbow (+5 strength bonus). 3/day, on a hit, an attack deals damage as normal and acts as a trip combat maneuver to knock the target prone, treating the result of the wielder’s attack roll as the combat maneuver check result. If the target is flying, it must immediately succeed at a DC 25 Fly check to stay aloft or plummet to the ground.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

ah, so the above roll should be a 24 due to -2 penalty because of a lack of STR. However, I will reroll to confirm. As the intent was to do the trip and pull her down, hopefully i can retroactively apply that to the attack.

crit confirm?: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 - 2 = 12

gonna assume that doesnt crit, so below is regular damage.

dmg: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 1 = 9

Certainly. XD

The actual damage dealt by the bow was limited - as an infernal creature, the Erinyes could be harmed most easily by celestial powers, and that was outside of your purview.

Fly Check: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29

She wasn't hauled from the air, but she did let out an angry noise as she righted herself and flapped hard to stay in place, a bit disoriented by the blow. The black bow you were holding pulsed slightly, seeming to drink in the light around it.

"A maggot like you dares to try and use that against me!?" she howled. "I will enjoy flaying your soul to shreds!"

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

two more uses of a 50/50 ability... and unlikely that i will be able to kill her in the time it takes her to regain flight... we will see how this goes. my turn again?

Yup. ^^ In general, you can assume that unless it's REALLY OBVIOUSLY OTHERWISE, the end of my post means that it's your turn again.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

"Well, do you want to come down here and fight then? Or just cut your losses and ditch your weak thrall?"

ranged attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 1 = 5

Harath takes another shot at the creature.

The flying woman ducked slightly to the side, avoiding the blow, and glanced scornfully down. "You say that like you think I really care about what happens to her." she answered. "I'd be just as happy to take you on instead. Hell can offer quite a lot of power to anyone willing to serve it..."

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

"Well, you are here pestering me as if you care for her. Me, I serve none. Well, unless you know someone who interests me."

"Oh, everyone ultimately serves." The Erinyes purred. "Well, except Lord Asmodeus, anyway. What is it that you actually want? Why were you even here, interfering in something that by all rights has nothing to do with you? You're obviously not a member of that little hovel they call a town..."

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

"Oh, you know, I wander around getting involved with whatever happens to be happening. Getting to know the people, their hopes and dreams, gathering wealth. It seems everyone is fighting someone else, so I get involved with the conflict. For some, like your girl there, I become a real nightmare. I like humans better than orcs, so these guys had to be taught a lesson. Plus I mean who would take pride in stomping a little town of scared humans? Fighting for the underdog usually pays better, they will do anything to beat a superior foe."

The Erinyes just laughed at that. "Money, is it? Erebus possesses wealth beyond that of all realms - even the City of Brass is but a pauper in comparison. And I can assure you that for those whose services are valued, Mammon will pay very well indeed. You could do far better than helping nobodies accomplish the smallest of tasks. They'll soon forget you, and though this tribe may fall, another will soon take its place and threaten them again. Why not take on a job that actually accomplishes something?"

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

"Well, what if I play for your team after we are done with this foolishness? I mean, I'd feel awfully bad if I said I would do something and didn't do it... Isn't that what your kind are all about? What's in it for you to destroy this little town now if the next tribe will do it anyway?"

"I don't really care about the town. It's just a few mortals - cute, but ultimately forgettable. What I'm here for... is her." The Erinyes pointed at Vegazi. "I gave her mother power twenty years ago, and it's time for me to collect my fee. Clearly, though, Kelseph is... inept. Sacrifice the girl to me and I will give you wealth and power far greater than what I gave to her mother - kill Kelseph at the same time and you will end the threat the orcs pose to the humans' town, for they will once more be too busy fighting amongst themselves to cause more trouble than usual."

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22 to pass secret message to Erinyes that i agree, while keeping the message secret from Vegazi

"Screw that, Vegazi let's kill the warlord. The magic in this bow won't bring the devil down long enough to kill it, but killing the warlord severs their contract."

Harath then moves off in the direction the warlord fled.

...I probably should have made this clear earlier, but Vegazi actually knocked her mother out, and the orc leader is lying on the ground, unconscious. XD So she didn't flee, per se. Did you want to kill the warlord yourself since she's there, or simply let Vegazi do it for you? She has no love for her mother...

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

Harath walks over beside Vegazi and her mother and indicates to her to kill her mother. Whether or not she complies, he attacks her with claw and fang.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 3 + (5) = 14

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 3 + (6) = 10

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 3 + (3) = 11

edit: crit confirm + bonus dmg
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

on NOW i get good rolls when i am doing something evil... but try to help the people and it's single digits all around!

For just a moment, there was a shocked look in Vegazi's eyes - then your weapons plunged into her and ripped the life from her body. The Erinyes laughed a moment later, and swooped down. She reached out as she did so, and grabbed something out of the air. It flashed, and then a burst of hellfire briefly erupted around her hand. "At last." she murmured with a smile. "It will be so nice to have another sister."

Incidentally, moral choices are very important in this game, and can affect a great many things. Deities aren't like mortals when it comes to that sort of thing, and doing something that might change your alignment is essentially changing yourself on a fundamental, non-metaphorical level. Also, while only the most extreme actions could change your alignment all by themselves, keep in mind that PCs in this game aren't allowed to be truly evil, so if you do stuff too often... *Coughs* Well, let's just say that I strongly encourage not doing too many evil things.

Active Effects: Human Dread (Fear Made Flesh) // Psychic (Dream) // Soulknife (Deadly Fist) 5 Mythic Overmind Tier 2 ||| HP: 104/104 | AC: 22, T: 14, FF: 20 | Fort: +7, Ref: +10, Will: +9* | BAB: +5, CMB: +7, CMD: 21 | Init: +3, Perception: +9

"So... About that payment and power." Harath asks, delivering the killing blow to Kelseph.

"Of course. We NEVER lie." the Erinyes said as black energy coalesced around her fist while she landed next to you. So far as you knew, that was true - devils might "creatively" interpret things, insert loopholes, and otherwise use every trick and tactic imaginable in order to come out ahead on a deal, but they did not outright lie. She clenched her fist a moment later, and unholy power started to flow into your body.

For just a fraction of a second, you could see the devil's eyes widening slightly, with what looked like shock and more than a little bit of fear. "What...?" she began, right before every nerve in your body started screaming in agony. Even as they did, you could feel that something - something enormous, distant, and malevolent - was slowly starting to take note of what was happening here.

An exterior power is trying to give you the Half-Fiend template, and two negative levels with it... but the bodies and souls of gods are not so easily influenced. As a neutral deity, you are not naturally affiliated with any of the infernal planes, and reject them just as you would excessive order, chaos, or holiness. Do you try to stop this transformation, or try to force your form to accept it?
