Gah, I keep seeing so many recruitment posts for game's I'd love to get in, but I don't quite have the bandwidth right now. Probably after Strategicon I'll be on the lookout... My rogue needs some play.

Dark Archive

DebugAMP, my games aren't going to start until after the Special is over, so that's about a month from now, if that helps.

As in the gameplay thread, I'm looking for four more for classic (non-core) 5-08 The Confirmation. Please check in to the discussion thread here for the specifics.

Thanks!

P.S. Thank you GM Hmm for the intro guide. It made prepping for this way less daunting.

Oh, yay! That made my day. Thank you.

I've looked around a bit, and can't find the above mentioned guide. Would you share a link? I've been thinking about running a table, but am a little nervous. Any pointers can help.

My problem is they fill up in about an hour, so since I wasn't here right when the recruitment thread went up, I'm out. :(

There's still room in three of my games.

Sadly I need level 1 games.

There is a mechanic for playing higher level pregens and assigning the chronicle sheet to a level one character.

Or alternatively 'holding' the chronicle for a level one character when they reach the level of the pregen played rather than taking the gold hit.

Bethany, It may be a while before I get around to starting up another game but when I eventually do, I'll send a PM and reserve you a seat. Will likely be the Wounded Wisp or the Consortium Compact.

Bethany: As soon as the special is over (and I imagine this goes for most of us..) I plan on running a "Welcome to the Society" type trilogy of evergreens geared for fresh recruits such as yourself. I just cant possibly run that with everything else I have on my plate right now. I know it hurts, but help is coming for you!!

Grand Lodge

"Ok, agents! I'm looking for the following to head off to Thuvia. Come see me about the travel details!"

The following are in for 07-28 Ageless Ambitions:

  • Bold Strider
  • Hawkeye127
  • SirPeter
  • GM Aarvid
  • GM Derek W
  • wakedown

Please report to the Discussion and Gameplay threads here.

Thanks everyone!

Lol! I am running the exact same type of game as soon as the special is over, and Bethany is already signed up for it on my sign up sheet. Great minds think alike, I suppose. My game is probably going to go First Steps, Wisp, Confirmation.

Looking for players for a low tier 3-05 Echoes of the Overwatched Core table

I have just finished run of first steps and I plan to start to go through season in tier and geographic order. sign up sheet Is here form an orderly queue on the right I will hold a lottery Sunday night

Dammit! Both of my 1-2 core characters are already in games.

Dark Archive

Chess here - I'd like to submit Akter, Merisial, for the game. I added him to the sheet (properly I hope). Akter is a CORE Ranger 1.

Silver Crusade

My 1-2s are tied up. I put in a Sorcerer-4, as it looks like you have only martial characters otherwise, but happy to get dumped if you get enough in-tier.

Granta next time perhaps

Akter yes you got it right

Prism it would have been a joy to have you but Looks like we have enough in tier already

Any chance you want to run a second table for high subtier? Prisim and I give you a headstart on filling the seats :-)

Isn't it best to run Confirmation first?

Spoiler:

Because the Confirmed Field Agent boon is better if earned when the character has 0 XP.

Dark Archive

Zin Zarin:
It is, so I make sure that if there is a player with 0xp that I run it first. If no one has 0xp, then I go with the order that makes more sense roleplay wise.

Yes, but I actually want to play Bethany through her levels not just powerlevel her by playing pregens. I do have already one pregen campaign saved (I've chosen to not apply it to her until she's the level to get full credit for it) from my very first Pathfinder game (at Free RPG Day... was supposed to be We Be Goblins Free, but we had more players than pregen goblins but only one PFS GM, so the PFS GM decided to do a normal campaign instead.)

For the record, Bethany has 0 xp. :P

GM Evil and Zin:
You know, I had forgotten about that.. the order I have set up is MotFF, First steps, then Confirmation because together in that order it puts together a more cohesive story. I will have to rethink this some.

Bethany:
Hi Bethany, I sent a PM to this effect, but one of the players in my game wants to give their slot to you, if you are still interested in playing the Confirmation. Please check in to the discussion thread linked.

Sovereign Court

There are still openings for #7-27: Beyond Azlant Ridge (3-7):

CORE campaign, LOW subtier - 1 spot open
CORE campaign, HIGH subtier - 3 spots open

A wizened beggar enters the room "Excuse me sirs, ladies but I got asked to deliver a message for Skilgannon, Durland, Jasper Androlson, Tatiana Malkova, Akter Phruse and Darren Knock to report to Drangly Dens Dreng no Drang Drendles Den"

Will the above mentioned report here for echoes of the Overwatched

Initially had the title down as 3-05 and changed it to 3-07 and screwed up the link

Here is correct link to game above

Anyone doing Wounded Wisp anytime soon?

Dark Archive

I have a game of it scheduled for after the special as part of an Evergreen Trilogy.

Liberty's Edge

@GM Evil - I think it filled up fast.

I still see two open spots for new players. (There's a waitlist of experienced players, but per Evil, that's only invoked if the game doesn't fill with new players.)

That's correct, and I also plan on running an extra table if I have enough "veterans" to have a full table, so sign up on the wait list anyway. If you have to make an extra yellow row, go ahead, or just sign up under the wait list.

i like running Wisp for new players. It's always fun watching them figure it out.

Grand Lodge

I have thrown my hat into the ring GM Evil as a "veteran" I guess. I have been playing for a little under a year. Khair is 1 game from level 2, but I am happy to bring a completely fresh character instead if that is what you would prefer.

Near future? Not sure if "within the next month-ish" counts. But yes. Looking at a tier 5-9.

My Evergreen trilogy is now full. I decided to take on 2 tables, which leaves two players on the waitlist. Awenydd83, aren't you running an evergreen trilogy as well? Could you fit those two in?

I have separated the tables into (mostly) new-ish players, and veterans. Please look over the separations and make sure you are in the right one. It will begin as soon as Blood Under Absalom concludes.

I still have open four open spots in a CORE Silverhex chronicles game. It has to be run with pregens, but is quite fun. I also have 4 open spots in a CORE We Be Goblins! game. I plan on running the entire We Be Goblins trilogy, and conclude with We B4 Goblins! at the end, so sign up now to make sure you get in on it!

My sign up sheet is HERE, and be sure to PM me with any questions or concerns!

As a note, silverhex no longer has to be played with pregens.

Actually your don't have use pre-gens for Silverhex any more (unless you want to).

Here's a link, John Compton announced it over the summer (toward the bottom on the blog post).

Hello all, looking for an additional player for a GM EVIL 0-26 Lost at Bitter End scenario. Current party is made up of a cigar smoking dwarven bard 8, an angelic and completely trustworthy holy warrior 7, a dour elf magus 9 with a blackblade, and a midnight blue skinned illusionist 7. We just started so no fear in missing out on the fun but time is of the essance.

Discussion link to see if you cut the mustard to join

many thanks.

Dark Archive

You beat me to it Qwerty.

Everything he said, and also I want to reiterate that we want to get the new player in quickly so that we aren't delaying the game too long. Sign up quick so I can ki--, I mean, get you in so we can all have fun... Yeah, that's what I meant. :)

Dark Archive

Spot filled. Thanks DeBugAmp!

Hey, all. New to the forums (but not Pathfinder) and have no idea how to go about getting in on a PbP game. Do I just check in here every now and then to see if one of the GMs is asking for a player?

Yep. Also keep an eye on the Gameplay thread, some GMs post there.

Keep in mind that this is a recruitment thread for pathfinder society organized play, not mormal games. If you're looking for PFS, you're in the right spot. If you aren't, then check the recruitment forum in the play by post section religiously, and you'll see GM's looking for players.

I am, indeed.. but the way this special is going, I am going to have to put it off for a bit longer than I intended.. I do not want to overstretch myself.

On a completely unrelated topic, I must give a very large and much more well informed thank you to the GM's that run specials on a regular basis!!!!!
