No worries about the inbox thing. Although not all GMs are the same, generally speaking, they tend to post their questions and/or selections in the recruitment thread itself.
I haven't quite made it halfway through the submissions (I've had a busy week and I've been sick) and I've been asking questions as PMs. Don't worry, things are slowly getting there. With a little luck, I'll still be on track for making the selection at the end of the week.
It's been seriously tough so far. Still no final decisions.

I meant I hope that I hope the GM will be able to put together a team without causing him too many headaches. Also I hope that the players (and not just the characters) end up working together well (in terms of attitude/focus/activity etc).

Checked the Recruitment forum and saw (13 new) for this thread. My heart jumped out in anticipation!
I agree, this game turned out a lot of good character ideas, and I'm glad I don't have to go through them all.

Well, that was a hell of a recruitment. And I'm very happy to announce that I finally have a party selected! I got so many evil characters. And ended up not picking any of them. I kind of feel bad about it, especially since four of them made it into my top 10. And I spent two days agonizing about who to take out of that top 10 too. But I am very happy to announce the result regardless.
Katya Elvanna: A winter witch who wants nothing more than to get as far away from her homeland as she can.
Maximo the 'Brave': A kobold chosen by the dragon god to rise up and carry his name into the world. For justice!
Zalika: An Osirian priestess who has barely managed to hold her people together and seeks to return the world to balance.
Triel Saidon: A drow forced to flee her homeland for fear of civil war and now hungry for revenge on the demon lord that caused her family's destruction.
Jonathan Haykes: A Grey Gardener tasks to maintaining order in his homeland and now called to help bring order to the world.
Aramus, the Brazen Fool: A simple man from Absalom who has seen the world slowly crumbling and isn't ready to give up on it yet.
I'm so thankful to everyone who submitted and keep one eye open, because if any spots open up, I'll be asking around for people who are still interested.

I too would appreciate feedback if you have the time. What you liked, what you didn't like, and so on. Helps me refine the concept for later games I'll definitely be shopping Akash around to.

Oooooooooh sweet relief, that suspense was killing me! I'm kind of surprised I made the cut, too, the competition was pretty darn hard! There were some freakin' good apps to go up against!

I honestly can't believe I was chosen, with that many impressive application. This looks like it's going to be a really good game though, and an awesome party. Congratulations to my fellow players and good luck in the future for everyone who applied.
