Korriban Balros |

Korriban shrugs at Teodor's sarcasm. "Hey, I'm just suggesting. It's not like I was going to do it anyway. Knowing our luck, it probably wouldn't have worked anyways." He then flips the dagger and sheathes it.

The Norv |

Just going to prod things along slightly, then... ;)
Gadriel stares at the corpse for a few minutes, then looks up. "Abu sees darkness and undeath cast in the body here. Good energy would drive it out, but we have no more sweet spells left..."
Gadriel's Spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

Diamon Erlatt |

Diamon, hearing the information relayed from Gadriel, sheathes his weapon and presses his hands together. Muttering a prayer to his fingertips as his hands are enveloped in a golden glow. He presses his palms to the wriggling body as the energy flows into it, eventually coming to a halt once more. Leaning back up, he turned, the bags under his eyes a little more pronounced and his eyes looking a bit more dim. "There, that outta do it. Collect it and let's keep movin'."
Last Lay on Hands cast.

Korriban Balros |

Korriban sighs in relief. "Okay. All we need is the other arm." He then groans. "Which is most likely in that boarded up room. This is not going to be fun. Let's just get the arm, the loot, and the prisoners and get out of here. I really need a rest... and a bath." He turns to Diamon. "You still going to throw that holy water at me?"

The Norv |

Assuming that that's two for investigating the final room...
Somewhat apprehensively, you all return to the southern room you passed earlier with the boarded-over door. You don't hear anything, but then, the whole place seems eerily quiet now that you know you've been through everything. Tiora and her companions seem to have made it out ok...
The door is kept nailed shut by a number of stout planks. Someone sufficiently strong might be able to bull through it, or you could pry the planks off one by one.
Or something else, of course. How do you want to go about this?

Diamon Erlatt |

Standing in front of the boarded-up door, Diamon produces a crowbar for Korriban to use, while he draws his lucern hammer, using the hooked end to help pry and jimmy. "Nope. Savin' my last trick for when it's really needed. Not burnin' it on a boarded door."

The Norv |

Korriban makes quick work of the boards, working hastily since the caverns now seem to be empty. After clearing away the boards, the party slowly cracks the door open.
As the leader cracks the door open, a nauseating stench rolls out, washing over the party. Korriban and Teodor both stagger back, practically retching, though the others maintain their composure. As the door swings open, you see some monstrosity stitched together of flesh come barreling out the door. It's still swinging a severed arm from one hand, and it lets out a guttural howl as it leaps forward!

Korriban is sent reeling as the stench hits him. "Oh, man! That's just sick! What did they store in here?!" He then sees the giant... thing. "Oh. That explains it." Being one of the most damage, he moves back, trying to get out of the way and away of the smell. "Giant thing! Heads up!"
Moving 15 feet back.

Diamon Erlatt |

After recovering from the wave of nausea that passed over him, Diamon laid eyes on what was on the other side of the door. A huge living... thing, patched together from parts of the deceased. A sudden surge of anger gripped the Dwarf, his eyes seeming to flash with a pale gold light, as he bellowed a challenge at the monster and stormed in, flinging his polearm away for his deity's weapon; The Falchion. He slashed brutally across the creature's middle, then once more at its limbs, hewing several arms from its shambling corpse. Wrenching the weapon free, he leveled his gaze at the abomination, appearing as though he were ten feet tall and glaring down at the stitched-together creation.

COMBAT: ROUND ONE (cont'd)
Botting Adoros for now...
Adoros steps forward as Diamon swings his falchion into the abomination's side and curses as he realizes that he won't be able to get into place to use his sword or morningstar. Swinging his musket up to his shoulder (despite the fact that it's broken) he takes careful aim at the foe and a loud report echoes thunderously in the narrow hallway. Sadly, the broken weapon jerks to one side as it fires, and the bullet merely blows a chip out of the ceiling above the towering monstrosity.
The stitched-together corpses let out a bellow and slam two meaty...should-be-hands into Diamon. The dwarf is caught unawares, distracted by the gunshot, and is brutally pummeled by the foe!

Diamon felt his blood flow from that last, heroic, stupid charge of his. Even as he fell, he could feel the protective strength of the Earth keep him in this world. Adoros steps forward as Diamon falls, straddling his downed friend and drawing his massive greatsword as he moves. The blade flashes, and the beast roads as Adoros carves out a chunk of its stomach. Not sure yet exactly what Teo has left, but I only counted 4 or 5 channels in this game day, so...
As the creature staggers, Teodor manages to completely void his gut and then straightens up, wiping his lips. Seeing Diamon lying, barely breathing, he inhales sharply. "Oh no. My my, no. No indeed." Raising the symbol of Groetus high, he floods the room with a pearly light that makes everyone feel slightly nauseous, but also quickly closes their wounds.
