Hey guys.

As promised, here is the discussion thread. You can start to figure out how you came to be in the small Taldor town of Belhaim, how you guys might know each other, ask questions, or what have you.

I'll have more information on the town up later.

So, you fellows are venturing to Belhiam. It's a small town of about 400 people, and almost entirely human. You are all outsiders, and have little to no knowledge of the town aside from its name and general location. I'm sure the local record keepers would be thrilled to get a rag-tag bunch of misfit murder-hobos up to speed.

To make matters even more fun, its unlikely any of you know each other very well. Three of you - our alchemist, ranger, and fighter - have been hired on as caravan guards by a tall and lithe man named Silas Grigs. Packing his wagons full of trade goods that have made the rounds through Absalom, you joined up as it was headed north from Cassomir towards Belhaim, and then into Galt.

As for the others...
Our local monk has a few more issues to contend with, as he awakens in an unfamiliar location. The druid on staff has only recently arrived in town, looking to replenish his supply of flayleaf in exchange for a few favors as his snuffbox runs a little low.

Eventually you will all meet up and (theoretically) join together to help Belhaim handle a series of crises that fall upon it. But for now - you are simply travelers with the misfortune to be stuck in a small town in the (relative) middle of nowhere.

Gameplay thread will be up as soon as people actually have their characters posted. Make an appropriate alias for your character (with stats and all that) and post here to let me know you're ready to go.

My character is the daughter of the unknown angel and a human. She likes mapotofu(chinese food and it`s damn spicy). She has white hair with two swords with dark yellow eyes and white skin. She doesn`t show her feelings and cool-headed(but she is very kind and good inside!). She uses two swords. She is not violent and hate killing but she kills when it is needed.
When she woke up, she found that she was in the middle of nowhere but saw a long line of caravans. Then, she started to work for the group in order to get food-but Sarenrae made her to participate into the caravans by making her meet with them and work with them. Sarenrae did this because he wanted her to meet with the monk(also an aasimar) and save the world.
While working with caravans, she met an alchemist and ranger. Then they knew one another`s face and name at least.

My character is a neutral druid that has a "small" addiction to flayleaf. He was born thirty years ago, in his homeland of Taldor, where his family had raised him to be one with nature and all that it holds. In his homeland he would spend more time talking with the animals than his fellow villagers – partly because of the flayleaf. Most people would consider him to be something of a hippie – mellow, peaceful, eccentric, hermetical and a tad insane - but he just considers himself to be a calm and collected person with the wilds. One of the animals he became particularly fond of was Rufus the badger. A counter to his own personality, the normal quick-to-anger badger has also come to enjoy the scent of flayleaf. He now stands by Brok's side in anything he does. As of late, Brok has been unable to find any work – to get fayleaf - so they set out for the nearby town of Belhaim, only slightly larger than the sleepy village he normally hung around, with hopes of finding something. Maybe obtain some new friends, explore a bit, and most importantly get more FLAYLEAF.

Pixis was born in the small town of Taldan between two great elf warriors who fled to the town from their unknown homeland due to a revolutionary uprising. Because the two elves used to be quite high in status, many assassins were sent to Taldan to eliminate them. Thus the parents sent Pixis to a small but great maphia group named Darksbane. For a time, Pixix worked there and trained there. Pixis had the blood of a great warrior, so it was only a matter of time until he had become a well-known theif who went by the pseudonym of Kevlamin Darksbane. His great archery skills and dexterity could not be defeated. Nevertheless, Pixis one day learned about the assissination of his parents by mysterious individuals and hit the road to the town of Taldan, which was devastated and where he met new heroes.

Taldor's a city, not a country, but it'll do. Not like names are a dealbreaker.

Gameplay thread is now up. A few notes for these things:

Limit large chunks of out-of-character chat and text to here. Keep the gameplay thread as 'in universe' as possible. Use the [.ooc][./ooc] (without the period) tags if you do blab in the gameplay thread.

Speech is usually bolded and put in quotations. This makes it stand out really well from the rest of your expository stuff.

Dice macros (when they come up) are fairly simple. For example: [.dice]1d20+2[./dice] Again, without the period.

I can imagine that its the first time for several of you participating in a play-by-post, and...to say the least, it takes a little while to get used to. I know for myself, one of the most enjoyable parts of this format of Pathfinder is Roleplay. Feel free to become your character...but keep in mind that waving genitalia and attempting to do all those silly things we would in GTA V or whatever have you may come with consequences...of which I'm sure Helio will be more than happy to elaborate on.

While combat isn't nearly as awesome as a live game, you'll experience epic and thematic fights where you're given moments to shine...instead of just waiting your turn and hoping for the best.

That being said, Helio's a boss of a DM that I've had the pleasure of knowing for $@#$ knows how long and you are all in good company of fellow friends - Thundercheeze and Electromaster - two individuals that are awesome in their own rights.

And with that - ITS ROCK O'CLOCK

Ask Thundercheeze how well taking his shirt off in the local tavern to attain free lodging or information or something worked out for his female character.
