Fiallain |

As she continues to rise in the air, Fia cranes her neck this way and that, trying to get a feel for the enfolding battlefield and from what direction, if any, the shadowspawn seem to be congregating from... and looking for any possible avenues for either escape or a more defensible position.
If those below are about to be surprised by enemies suddenly appearing behind their backs, she shouts warning.
perception: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33

Ryvin Altessar |

If Tali's the one who was down the pit, then yes, I am lifting her.
"Oy, 'lord' Ryland! I could use some help getting this woman out of the hole!" Ryvin shouts. "Keelix, you too! Just... grab here! There's a rope of Air, it won't hurt you!"

RIZZENMAGNUS |

the field
ON YOUR LEFT!lord aelorn shouts as three trollocs slam into the wide formation of men. the men grunt and shift to address the attack. as they move, they open a narrow opening that allows for a myrddraal to push itself past the defense and behind it, charging hard for amorial.
At the same time, both Fia and Alathea are finally brought out through the gateway and gently set upon the ground. Alathea is unconscious, barely breathing. blood covers her body, and fia keeps holding her close to her. Im all thats keeps her alive! she roars loudly.
the crater
the seven darkfriends turn and charge at the towering gardener, unaware of the hulking reputation these Ogiers have earned in the far land.
Two of them get close to the craters edge and then suddenly disappear, as if they had never existed at all.
full action to close upon Chen
The lady being lifted up to the hole suddenly screams loudly. Snapping a hand out, an orange ball blossoms into existance, and she hurls it across the crater and it impacts one of the trollocs, sending it to it's back, burned black and smoking.
zira
you hear a distinct explosion, one that sounds more real and life like than the noise of battle that surrounds you now. It has come from the south.

Litheene |

Fades. Lovely Smirks Litheene, releasing the weave holding Alathea and Fia. Litheene, moves quickly towards them. She is in a really bad shape, Amorial can handle one Fade, at least until I heal her Litheene lays her hand on Alathea's forehead, blood dripping between her fingers, as she puts her other hand on Alathea's belt. The flow of Saidar in her magnifies several folds as she pours the five elements into Alathea, rebuilding her tissues with a massive weave that binds together flesh, repairs bones and heals skin.
Compared to it, only a fraction of the power is needed to maintain her other weave. Even in the midst of battle she can't stop herself from being amazed. A second time I use SaAngreal, it is truly an amazing thing indeed
Multi weaving the new weave, while still lifting the other woman (am I holding her or Ryvin?). Major Healing slot level 3, added Angreal (1), SaAngreal (4) and aff(1) for total of 9: 9d8 + 10 ⇒ (4, 4, 1, 4, 3, 5, 5, 2, 3) + 10 = 41 healing for Alathea.

Chen Armand |

As the darkfriends close, Chen attacks the two nearest him.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (5) + 17 = 22
Attack 2: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
Damage 1: 2d8 + 22 ⇒ (4, 7) + 22 = 33
Damage 2: 2d8 + 22 ⇒ (1, 7) + 22 = 30
He strikes with as much power as his weakened body can summon. The strikes lack subtlety but his power never fails him.

Keelix Andren |

Despite the sensory overload, Keelix reacts immediately putting his bow away and grabbing the unseen rope to help haul the woman out of the pit.

Amorial Suth |

Seeing the enemy charge at him Amorial latches the rope to his belt and draws the Axe imbued with the One Power setting to ready for a charge by the Myrrddraal.
As I have Reach, once it closes to within 10' of me I will take an initial swing with my Attack of Opportunity, I will then use my first Heroic Surge of the Day for a second attack. If it still lives, I will use my full round action to full attack again.

ill say that ryvin has been lifting the woman up into the hole
the field
slowly the woman with an arrow in her knee suddenly floats through the gateway and then drops to the ground with a thud, the weave holding her up having failed. she groans and moans loudly, clutching her knee.
litheene, barely touching the source due to the sa'angreal, deftly weaves and repairs the damage done to alathea. her large neck wound hvaing been closed, her face becomes less pale, more hale, and vigorous.
alathea, make a fort save, dc 19 to awaken
the sound of a blade blocking another with a loud hiss sounds dangerously close. a growl and moan sounds shrill, and your attention is drawn to Amorial fighting a Fade. two large wounds are cloven into the fades flesh, and horrible black ichor gushes from the openings, but the creature presses on, its terrible blade hungry for flesh.

the crater
CHen moves in a mechanical manner, his arm rising and falling with practiced ease, deflecting the amateurish moves and responding with overwhelming force. his efforts causes two of the darkfriends to fall to the ground dead.
across the crater, ryland and his three men offer a stiff resistance to the trollocs, yet neither side making much headway.
zira
rushing through the strange landscape, first its woods, then its a garden area with a walkway filled with people running about, you focus upon the sounds of the too real metal on metal clanging of battle. people that leap into existence push against you, some you slam into as you run, but by the time you are able to react they are gone, replaced by a tree, leaving you to wonder if you hit a person, or the tree.
yet, finally, you are close to the noise, and you see it. the battle is engaged. 4 men against some strange creatures...but wait! one of them is that annoying Lord from last night, the man who tried to force himself upon you. No, this man is different. his face is the same, handsome, rugged, chiseled. but his hair is different, his posture and confidence is different. One man was from court, here is a man used to the toils of the world.
out beyond him, lurking in the woods and manicured garden, you spot something hideous. no eyes, a cloak that doesnt move. black armour. youve heard of these things from your bedtime stories growing up. but they were stories, meant to scare the kids?
as you look on, it slides forward like a striking cobra, and engages the look alike Lordling.

"CAREFUL! He aims to use his dark magic on you, avoid that blade!!

Amorial Suth |

Amorial attempts to resist the poison of the Fade:
Fortitude save 1 DC 18 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Fortitude save 2 DC 18 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Amorial counters the Fade with further vicious swings from the axe! He roars in defiance of the unnatural thing standing before him.

just remember zira, the seanchan think that the shadowspawn are myths and bed time stories. so far, you have seen the trollocs and fades, but dont know their names. ill say that it was common for seanchan stories to know about their dark blades, but nothing else.

i figured, hence calling it magic. Sorry if i overstepped. I didnt even call it by name. just what i thought i would have heard it as in the stories

Alathea Sedai |

Fortitude save to awaken, DC 19 needed: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10...no luck!
After Litheene's weaves leave her body, Alathea stirs ever so slightly but remains asleep. Her breathing, before frighteningly shallow, seems steadier but her color remains ashen and gray with blood loss.

Litheene |

Feeling relieved that her friend will live, Litheene is still worried about the other side of the gate, mixed with the pain flowing to her from Amorial's bond.
Fia, if you can, try to wake Alathea up, we need all the channeling we can get Saying that, Litheene stays by their side, her hand still on the belt, and looks over the battlefield through the gate, scouting for any more of her friends.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Come to the open so I can see you! She calls, while weaving to pick up the woman Ryvin was lifting. The power flowing through her easily, lifting the woman's body without any effort.
Ryvin, are you well? I can bring you over to this side
Slot 0 for level 6 arms of air.

Fiallain |

Fiallain watches with a concerned intensity as Litheene performs the healing on Alathea's unconscious form. When her friend does not stir afterwards, the Aiel frowns heavily and nods to the other woman. "I will wake her if she can be woken, Litheene Sedai. The choice is hers though. It may be that you must do what must be done without her. By all rights, she should be dead. I do not know what strength she may have even awake."
The apprentice turns away and kneels over Alathea's form, checking the woman's pulse once more. She pushed down an all too familiar feeling of frustration at her body's own weakness and her inability to embrace the source. She did feel better, but the mere thought of surrender still made her stomach churn.
She also pushed down and ignored the sound of the clanging, scraping blades and furious yells as the Alantin engaged the eyeless mere feet away.
She does look more hale... Fia thinks briefly, turning her full attention to the task at hand.
heal to aid in bringing awake?: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Ryvin Altessar |

"I'm a LITTLE BUSY!" Ryvin shouts in response to Litheene's call. The Wilder draws on saidar again, and lashes out at the Fade with a simple weave of Air and Fire -- too simple, perhaps. Behind the Myrddraal, the air erupts in howling flame.
Drawing her sword, Ryvin runs to be in view of the gateway.
"We've got Trollocs and a Myrddraal here!" she shouts to her friends on the other side. "And a hole in the Pattern! What's the situation over there? Can we get out on your end?"
Ryvin puts a 2nd-level Fireball at the Fade's back, angled to hit only it, and not Ryland. Reflex save DC 16 to halve 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (1, 4) + 9 = 14 fire damage.

Ryvin Altessar |

"Keelix! Ryland! You three stooges! Get over here!" Ryvin shouts. "It's tactical retreat time! Back up to the gateway!"

Ryvin Altessar |

Ryvin grimaces, and she shouts up the simple answer: "Dead. I'll tell you more later."
I had to struggle not to call them Moe, Curly and Larry... :p

Amorial Suth |

Amorial, sustaining heavy wounds, presses this difficult foe. Amorial grits his teeth knowing that he is the last line before the foul creature reaches Litheene Sedai.
I just realized that my initial failed save was an incorrect dice roll, I rolled 1d10 instead of 1d20, I will re-roll that one.
First failed Fort save with correct dice: Fortitude save 1 DC 18 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15 EDIT: And I failed anyway...

Chen Armand |

As the cowards flee before him, Chen turns looking across the crater. He begins to move in the direction of his mistress' voice.
is there anyone I can help in between me and Zira? Amorial perhaps?

Keelix Andren |

"Keelix! Ryland! You three stooges! Get over here!" Ryvin shouts. "It's tactical retreat time! Back up to the gateway!"
Unless you have moved and I missed it, Keelix is standing fairly close to where you are, where he was trying to help you get the woman out of the pit.
Keelix turns around at her shout, his face completely expressionless. He moves the short distance to her side, drawing his blade as he goes.

Litheene |

Seeing Alathea open her eyes, Litheene can't help but feel admiration for Fia's ability to awaken her without even using the power, where her own weave was not enough.
Alathea, we need urgent assistance, sadly I have no time to explain what is going on. Please ward off shadowspawn, from getting close to us, and give more area for the man fighting the Trollocs to fall back to
Taking her hand away from the belt with a sight, Litheene channels another weave, relying on her own force, to lift Ryvin towards her, as the other woman continues to raise.
Ryvin, I've got you. Focus on lifting others here
Multiweave, level 3 using slot 1 - arms of air to lift Ryvin while Tali continues to go up.

Alathea Sedai |

Alathea coughs, then moans in pain. Light, I have never hurt so much! She opens her eyes and quickly raises a hand to shade her eyes from the blinding light, relieved to see Fiallain's and Litheene's faces.
Though Litheene has spoken of warding, Alathea's head still swims dizzily as she orients herself once more to the waking world. Her voice a raw whisper, she asks, "What happens here?" And where is my Kodokura? She does not speak the last aloud--with a heavy heart, she already knows the answer. But the time for grieving must wait...
Having been brought back from the brink of death, can Alathea channel?

Litheene |

Litheene speaks without moving her eyes from the Gateway, briefly and quickly. We are in battle. I am working on helping our friends. We are surrounded by Fades and Trollocs. Those fighting them are helping us, but they are being overwhelmed. They need a ward to protect us from distractions and them from being overrun.

Ryland of Fal Dara |

Ryland never takes his focus off of the fade he battled but shift his stance to put his back towards Ryvin.
Power attack: 1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 13 + 2 = 25

Fiallain |

Fiallain offers her friend a small, tight smile and a look of relief as she regains consciousness. She is soon all business though, her usual stoicism returning. She offers her hand to help Alathea up. "Litheene Sedai is bringing our separated companions through her weave. We must hold this position until she can finish and we can retreat. The eyeless are breaking through. Gather what strength you have sister. We need you. I will guard your back."

Ryvin Altessar |

"I'm almost tapped out!" Ryvin tells Litheene while she rises into the air. "Get me out of here and I'll link with someone, lend them what power I have left..."
I'm afraid I'm almost out of weaves/day... :-\ Two level 1s and one level 2 left, and anything more than that will be overchannelling.

Litheene |

With a level 2 you can get a level 3 weave with affinities, or even 4 with but 1 level of overchannel. This should be enough to lift someone not wearing armor. Level 4 even with Armor. I can give you the Angreal once you are here, then you can use the level 1 slot in the same way

RIZZENMAGNUS |

im going to be nice and not make a posting today. i think a lot of people need to review the map and see just how close the enemy is to them and make actions accordingly.
alathea, you have whatever available weaves you had prior to your near beheading.

Keelix Andren |

Having reached Ryvin, and with no enemies close by, Keelix draws his bow and looses two arrows at the darkfriend closest to Ryland.
Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30.
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18.
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10.

Alathea Sedai |

Alathea pulls herself to sit upright, although she finds must hold herself up with her arms lest she lose her balance as dizziness washes over her. She nods wordlessly at Litheene's and Fiallain's suggestion and reaches for saidar. To her immense relief, it flows into her, and she weaves it into strands of Air, Fire, and Spirit. Working quickly, she shapes a protective dome against the Dark One's creations about herself and her companions.
Alathea is using a level 2 Ward Against Shadowspawn. It looks like the nearest shadowspawn is about 10 feet away, so hopefully he's just far enough away for a level 2 ward.

Fiallain |

No changes / additions to Fia's stated action. She's in pretty bad shape to be attacking, and would be loathe to move and give the Myrdraal (which she is probably only just now becoming aware of) a clean path to Alathea in any case. Continued readied action to strike anything that comes within reach.

Vala " the Swan" |

Seeing the Myrdraal Vala sneers and growls. With ease she shifts into the beginning of Arc of the Moon and strikes!
