Cool guys.
I have asked one other player to come join us to take my place.
My PC will now become a NPC and act as your helper in this game and its setting.
The greater COSMOS I will be using will I hope aid in letting you take on the gods as 20 level PCs
Game play will also shift to a kind of surreptitious and espionage based setting.
Your going to be give an chance to make a Proxy PC to act as a front for you Mine PC.
Everyone gets Leadership as a feat, but no followers.
Your cohort will act as this Proxy PC, you will have control over it,
So while you have a huge can be seen miles away main PC, you can have a sneaky Proxy that can slip into town and do stuff unseen.
Also vice versa, Your main PC my be sneaky and your Proxy/cohort a tank.
So you can rebuild your PCs
I am also chaining all magic flavour, this will be done in game and will have no effect on HOW magic works v the rules.
I am also allowing
So if your happy with that.

Ozil |

Do we have to make a Cohort?
For me, at least, trying to run Ozil will be time consuming enough.
Of course, I could make a Simulacrum of Ozil to fit your in-game purpose -- and then maybe add a Wish Spell or two to make him a bit more, I dunno, whatever. But I like having Ozil go to town. (Or maybe, like you say, use the Cohort as the combat PC and not give a damn if it dies.)
....If I must, I would likely make a Synthesist Summoner as my Cohort.

Ven'atorix |

I'm thinking a ghoul slayer 12, focusing on its natural attacks and stealth/Assassinate. It'd be useful because Ven doesn't stealth, but only situationally.
I'm fine with making a cohort, personally. I get if people don't want to.
Also, checking in.

GM_Panic |

the idea behind the cohort is to not have you all rebuild your pcs
the idea is to have a proxy, this proxy will act for you IF you feel your mine pc is not up to the tasks ill be setting.
So im going to reset up the meeting again, in game play with some changes, with that you will get the idea of HOW the proxy's come about.
I'm going to change the setting a little, once your PCs are clued up we can take it from there.
So PCs wait till I post then make your way to game play.

Hey, Johnny.
This isn't meant to offensive in any way, just a statement of my thoughts.
I really didn't sign up for all of this tech/scifi stuff, and not really sure I want to continue if this is going to be a constant theme.
Yeah, I think we all recognize that you love technology, and especially psionics, but there's a reason I haven't played Iron Gods yet.
I don't know, maybe I'm the minority here, and everyone is on board with your science game.
But I wanted to bring up my thoughts, anyway.

I also hate Tech/SciFi in my High Fantasy, Swords-N-Sorcery gaming.
Hate
That being said, when another Player is really into it I tend to just ignore it, sometimes zoning out what the Player is saying -- sometimes just privately re-Fluffing it in my head (You think you're running a gunslinger but as far as I'm concerned you're a Wizard with a Wand -- or at the bottom of Expedition to the Barrier Peaks is a crashed Spelljammer -- NOT something from Traveller.)
So Bigrig, I'm with you.
But after this I'm keeping it to myself (I was not gonna mention it at all.).
I'm certainly going to stick with the campaign -- Love it. How often do I get to play a gestalt-20 PC with gross everything?! But yeah, I already toned out all the tech stuff from the first iteration; I'll do the same here.
Though I do like the idea of pretending Sal Da Qill is Primus (from 1st Ed) and that he(she) has a bunch of Modrons and owns a Spelljammer or something.
Not that I'll express that in the game at all -- that's what will just go through my head -- you'll never know it.

The thing here being that I'm fine if it's only the introduction. I can deal with a bit being tech-y.
But if it stretches out into only science fiction monsters, and Asmodeus turns out to have bio-tech or something, I'm gonna be a bit disappointed.
Like I said, not meant to sound super upset or anything, just setting my expectations out.

I'm going to wait until the rest of the party speaks out until I continue saying anything.
I, personally, have no desire to play with any tech at all. Or psionics. I specifically want to play on Golarion, with the canon-appropriate level of tech/psionics.
Now, I understand that several people do enjoy that kind of thing (looking at you, Sundakan), and that's completely fine.
I'm fully willing to basically ignore any of the tech that people bring into their characters. But what I'm not willing to do is play in a world that isn't Golarion.
Several of us have expressed a desire to stay away from your vision of this game. I have absolutely no inclination to play with "pretending the gods' tech is magic". There isn't any reason, beyond satisfying your own wants, to reflavor anything as tech that isn't tech.
for my idea to work and be fun for me to run that's the line I'm taking.
That's...fairly selfish. I don't think any GM should take this level of adjustment to the setting, without making sure that every player is okay with it. Your stance is one of finality, one of showing no room to wiggle.
I don't think that the game you're presenting, and the way you're presenting it, is for me.
Unless you decide to change your wholesale forcing of the "ideal" tech setting you seem to want, I think I'll have to stay away from this one.
As much as that would hurt me, I don't think I could possibly participate fully in this game without hurting the overall experience for everyone.
I'm not sure where I would go from here, as I really, really want to run Ven through the original campaign idea. Perhaps a post to the original recruitment, asking for a GM that would pick up the campaign from there? I don't know at this point.
