Woohoo! For my free item, I'm going for a set of Equestrian Plate.
| Uret Jet |
Nice on the level up. I'll take a look through items in a bit. When it comes to coinage, I would think Yoltzin would have some degree of truth to Espen coins not holding much use to her people. The gems and jewellery however might be good to hand over- which would be about 10% of the overall haul. Maybe toss in another 5% of actual coins for trading purposes, if they choose to use them. That might be enough to satisify Luln.
The authorities, however, I expect would want a much larger sum. Anywhere from 25-50% of the overall total.

If anyone has recommendations of an item by the way, would love to hear it. I've never been that great about sorting through all the lists.

I'm honestly not 100% sold on it, I can change it out to something else if it's gonna be an issue. I can't really think of many items that fit the criteria, is all.

It works fine for me, I can adjust. Honestly the next adventure has a lot of potential places you could use it.

Since the adventure proper is essentially over, gere's what I've got for next steps:
1. Free the slaves and provide some amount of reparations to them.
2. Return to the gravesite of the Elf-maiden spirit and deliver Rosentos to her for judgement.
3. Carry back the treasure to Luln, leaving compensation for them.
4. Head home to Albarra with the remainder of the treasure???

Here's my idea for the wealth division.
From the starting pool of 96802, we can keep 48401. How about we set aside 3400 of it to give out to the villagers here, the people of Luln, and investing into Albarra? That would leave 45000 to split between the 4 of us, giving us each 11250gp for personal use. We could even put 250 or so of that per person into party funds for things like wands and potions.

Seeing as how the story is currently on the banshee/Rosentos completeion, did we already resolve the bodies of the minion vampires and what was to be done about the two werewolf servants?
The servants were dead when you left them; being lesser vampires, they did not survive the combat in the same way as Rosentos.
The werewolves, what you choose to do can happen off screen. I'd imagine the former slaves would want to execute them for being Rosentos' enforcers for several years. Alternately, Zia or Yoltzin can dispel the curse and cure them, suggesting to the newly freed residents that they instead imprison them for a period or exile them.

On the topic of resolving things with Rosentos, could Amideo have offered the newly freed residents to accompany the group back to Albarra to settle there? Seems like a nicer place to live than the creepy vampire village.

Most of them would have chosen to remain, reaping the harvest of the land they've long worked now as freed men. I'll work the relocating of a few families that were interested into a later downtime post.

I've been away from Paizo as I'm sure you guys have noticed. I've never succumb to the winter blues before... trying to get back in the saddle as it were.
I am planning a Djack-focused story as the next adventure. Maybe that will help get you back into the swing. Stay tuned. Meantime, take care of yourself.

Wait, nothing like depression or the like... just a weird fugue that when combined with work chaos and uncertainty, blah, blah, do you hear yourself, man!?
Not that I do not enjoy stories focused on others, that last one was pretty funky... didn't expect undead. Good story and Elven ties.
But, perhaps it will help me focus yes! Or feel too guilty to not log in!

Cleric HP: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Suppose I'll live with it.

Everyone remember to add your new magic item/effect to your character sheet when adjusting your level. Also, you will have about 4 weeks of downtime in-game.
Please write me your downtime activities (Mayum 30-Juna 25, late spring, Albarra climate similar to Oklahoma City) in a 2 paragraph or more post in Discussion. For completing this, you may add one Trait (a regular trait or an alternate racial trait for your race, either one is fine with me). You need not complete the downtime post before the next adventure begins; any time in the next month or so real-time is fine.

Awesome! I'll put some thought into it boss man.

During the downtime, Rocko doesn't exactly have any big business plans. The one thing that he's been thinking of is how the party gets food, cooks, and eats while out in the wild. As a gnoll, Rocko isn't particularly choosy, but he's noticed everyone else seems to be much happier when they can get to towns and have traditionally home prepared meals.
Rocko has an idea of how to have nicer meals while out in the field, and he'd like to go about putting a plan together. He knows there are 'bags of holding' that could contain better cooking gear and ingredients, possibly even with a way to keep food fresh. He'd also like to spend time with people around time trying to pick up their cooking techniques so he can do meals more like everyone else likes (which Rocko likes eating too). After all, why not enjoy the trip more?
Yes this is bald-faced cribbed from the anime Campfire Cooking in Another World, but hey, it fits Rocko's ideals too.

A few questions that are kinda bunched together.
Question the first, could I take the Social Ties trait? Description is as follows,
Some human societies run on complex webs of favors and loyalties that canny members can intuitively exploit with relative ease. These humans gain a +2 racial bonus on Diplomacy checks, and on any skill checks to recruit members and teams for an organization. They also add a +1 racial bonus to their Leadership scores (if they gain the Leadership feat).
Questions the second and third, would you be okay with me taking the Leadership feat? And if so, could I swap out Power Attack for it?

After arriving back in Albarra, I feel like Yoltzin would try to help integrate the freed servants who decided to leave their settlement. Many of them held elven blood, so she has a sense of kinship towards them that makes her feel responsible for their well being. So she would do what she could to help find them accommodations and work for the new residents, and spend time each weekend to visit and help better integrate them with the local community. While not trained in missionary work, I do feel like she would also try introducing the traditional elven pantheon to these distant cousins of hers as well.
Outside of that, Yoltzin would continue her work as a shaman. Traveling between the city and local villages or occasionally further abroad in order to perform her duties. Exorcising of haunts or the occasional demon, ensuring that relations with local spirits are healthily maintained, performing rites for the deceased wherever needed. In general she continues trying to make sure the region gains an understanding and respect for the departed, even teaching small ways to mitigate or ward off the more malicious dead.

Absolutely.

Certainly, it fits well thematically with the level we're at. Amideo hasn't exactly gotten in a ton of power attacks, so I'll allow the swap.

Uptdated her stats on here, still deciding on a feat. My initial thoughts are between Improved Initiative (+4 bonus!) and Versatile Summon Monster for the ability to change up her summons, probably with the fiery or primordial templates. Given that she now has the rod though for the giant template, I worry that I'd be putting too much focus on them. Was also considering the possibility of retraining her Extra Chanel feat for another now that we've got boatloads more healing options. Any advice people have would be welcomed.
If rando approves of my downtime stuff, I was going to pick up the Warrior of Old racial[elf] trait, for a +2 init bonus.
