Kayiqard Manyblades: Younger brother of Ashorgal. Fratricidal. Killed by the judgement of Tuskkeep Royal crown.
Fizb Manyblades: Older brother of Ashorgal. Dead 20 years ago. He is now a ghost bonded to room of Tuskkeep castle.
Zeedald Pepperclamp: Male-Goblin. Formber goblin ambassador in Aldwall. Temporary ruler of Tuskkeep.

The Toothless: Described to you as "the oldest goblin. So far She is an enigmatic figure of power in the tundra clans. Apparently, in the past she has partially predicted two of your movements.

Ambervale locations:
Peaks of death and despair: Lots of volcanoes, poisonous smokes, some few red dragons and demons roams...the surface. Not much reports of what is below, the communication with the dwarfs of there was lost more than 20 years ago.

bitterblood swamp: Marsh goblins and Lizardfolks constantly at war. Two years ago an adventuring party killed black wyrm there, quite a success. An actual standard place for adventurers.

Whispering forest: The standard forest filled with undeads. The bodies there sooner or later are reanimated as some kind of undead, and sometime adventurers go crazy saying the forest is telling them stories. When the undead population is growing Aldwall pays for every undead destroyed, standard stuff.

It should records the king's thoughts and whims, it basically will retains part of every king personality, so far only the one of Ashorgal obviously. But I'm pretty sure the crown refused to be weared by Kayiqard, hw will be using it otherwise

Peddletongue:I'm only guessing, but I would say the King chamber. The other possibility is a safe room under the Donjon, there are two keys to enter it, the King have to have one, I had the other but they took it from me when they captured me

"Oh, I'm sure it will be." Desmond grins.

Once she leaves, he turns to Vendrick. "Well, this'll make it easier for us to get into the castle. We go to the excecution as ourselves, play nice for a little while, then find a quiet place to drink our goblin potions. We should rendezvous with Sven to figure out where and how to search for the crown."

In the meantime, he buys more ingredients for Vral (-50 gp) and asks her to make another round of potions.

Desmond meets Sven and tells him about his plan to enter the castle and act friendly before turning into goblins.

Assuming Sven tells me what Peddletongue said about the possible locations of the crown and the keys.

"Hmm...I doubt we'd be able to steal the King's key without him or his guards noticing. Let's sneak into the King's room, and if it's not there...we'll improvise!"


Desmond will need to beat the Goblins perception checks and wolves scent to meet Sven at Zypp's...or something like that

That guy is also at the Slum now that you mention him, but in case you can reach him there is a deodorizing agent for that in the d20pfsrd

THat's depend on what you do, A succesful stealth would do it for example, or making some diversion, perhaps using your crocodile.

Why not both?

Sven sends Scaly to gnaw on something he's not supposed to, and then sneaks off.

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27


THat solve it (assuming you used your negate aroma spell). Sven can reach the Embassy.

"So once we're inside, we look for a hiding place, change to goblins, and make our way to the King's room. Then we'll search the room for the crown. If it's not there, we can try to figure out where the guards store confiscated items, and look for Peddletongue's key there. Or we could try stealing the King's key. Tricky, but with a distraction and invisibility it might be doable."

"Of course, that's all impossible without a new batch of goblin potions. I could've snuck out and bought the ingredients Varl needs if it weren't for all those wolves prowling around. Sven, do you think you could cast that Negate Aroma spell on me? Or, before yours runs out, you could try and get the ingredients yourself."

Is Vralyiya's description of the crown accurate enough for me to cast Locate Object?

Thats tricky, " You cannot specify a unique item unless you have observed that particular item firsthand (not through divination)", and in case you go fore a general item "You can search for general items, in which case you locate the nearest of its kind if more than one is within range" taking into account the king uses a crown very alike there is a random chance you detect one or the other. Better if you cast the spell near the possible location of the true crown

...and don't forget that the King's is not the only key


Anyways, you go to the execution show where you have an special box waiting for you, and for you I mean you three, Amra and Mauro (the other Aldwall's guy)

The execution is in the town's principal plaza, near the castle. The plaza is full of chaotic goblins.

The same goblin girl that give you the letter of invitation say to you

I personally commanded captain and some of his best goblins to look Sharpblast to watch...for your safety. Make yourselves comfortable and enjoy - The girl leaves.

Captain Sharpblast take his job as serious as always (an unusual trait among goblins).

The show start with the King's speech, few goblin actually paid attention to him until the condemned are presented. You have no clue who most of them are, they seems like 4 scrawny goblins. You know the fifth though, is Zypp.

Captain seems very uncomfortable with the situation, but he fulfil his duty of watching you closely.

For a moment Sharpblast pops a little, he then sits down and focus all his attention on the show.


A goblin approach as took away a veil revealing herself as Vraljyiya. She look at Sharpblast and say -ooh it worked... - then to you well, time to go

...Okay. Did she cast a spell on him or something? When you said he "pops a little" I thought you meant he got really suspicious over what Desmond said but then decided to sit back down.

So I guess this is what we're doing:

Sven tries to sneak out of the place without being noticed by anyone important.

yeah, I suppose I didn't explain well, but the idea was to suggest that she did something to allow you move more freely.

You 4 (or 5 or 6 depending if you want help from Amra and the other guy) approach the castle. This time however the guards are actively patrolling using wolves.

What do you do?
