Krysmuth charges into the fray and slashes her longsword at the behemoth but falls before her blade can strike.
As Krysmuth is charging the minotaur turns and swings his battleaxe at her just before she slashes at the minotaur dropping her to the ground in a heap
10 foot reach which should drop you if you are currently at 9 hp
AoO vs Krysmuth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 5) + 4 = 10
Upon seeing Krysmuth fall Sir Christoff rushes in and slashes at the beast drawing a gaping wound across the minotaur's chest.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Of course, that's the last of my healing, and I'm probably going to die next round. . . :)
GM Tyranius |
Sara I need a DC 15 Swim Check to cross the river. If you fail I will just place you back on the opposite side of the bank.
Sara rushes forward as the minotaur turns it's sights on Sir Christoff. The minotaur's first swing is easily dodged by Sir Christoff but he is unable to avoid the backswing of the axe causing Sir Christoff to fall to the ground bleeding profusely.
Battleaxe: 1d2 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Kenri Halid Brookmere |
Gasping in shock as the minotaur drops everybody around him, Kenri will check his rush, drop his sword and pull out his sling. Whipping it around his head he lets fly at the minotaur.
attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 just inside 50' so no penalty, and since they are all down no melee penalty either XP
bullet damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Shaking badly, in his rush, he sends the stone skyward, destination unknown.
GM Tyranius |
Kenri hurls a stone at the minotaur which whizzes right past the creature not touching it as Mollok casts a spell and the Minotaur's weapon begins to coat in a large amount of grease but he continues to remain a solid grip on the battleaxe.
Initial Reflex Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

DC15 Swim Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
GM Tyranius |
Sara is unable to bypass the river.
The minotaur turns it's attention to Kenri. The minotaur roars with a fury as it begins to move towards the magus swinging it's battleaxe.
\Covered in grease the minotaur is able to keep ahold of the axe as he swings it at the man, slamming the sharp blade right into his side.

Kenri Halid Brookmere |
Well I did mention dying today didn't I.
Dropping his sling, Kenri will take a 5' step to the south, drawing his warhammer and swinging it defensively at the man-cow.
attack with Warhammer defensively: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 3 - 4 = 6

GM Tyranius |
Kenri takes a step back as he drops his sling to the ground drawing his massive warhammer. The magus swings his warhammer at the beast but it is easily dodged.
Sara rushes for the log to cross the river.
The minotaur continues it's assault on Kenri as it slams it's horns at him while swinging his massive axe. Kenri, although wounded is able to dodge all of the minotaur's blows
Gore: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Taking another 5' step to the south west, placing him directly south of the man-cow, Kenri tries once more with his defensive attack.
attacking defensively: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 3 - 4 = 4
damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Ac 17...Just as well that I missed him. Don't think one hit would drop him anyways, tho I imagine for the scenario that he is already wounded from janira
Mollok |
Yes, crossbow does more dmg but its not touch AC, I will try it this round. You forgot to roll the minotaur's chance to drop his axe due to the grease spell DM.
Mollok draws and fires his crossbow.
Attk: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 4 = 2
Dmg: 1d8 ⇒ 1
GM Tyranius |
That I did not thanks for the reminder
previous attack grease reflex save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Kenri and Mollok both attack the beast as their warhammer and bolt miss the enraged target.
The Minotaur, overconfident after dropping three members in a single blow each, turns it's gaze upon Sara as it charges her with it's horns, the minotaur slams past her shield as it's horns penetrate her armor causing deep piercing wounds. Her crushed armor make it difficult to breathe.

Stabilize: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Stabilize: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Stabilize: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Sara Mars |
Realising her shield is pretty much useless against something with such force, Sara drops it and takes her longsword in both hands, aiming for the minotaur's throat or other vital arteries.
Move Action: Drop Shield
Standard Action: Attack with Longsword (2H)
+1 Longsword, 2H Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 1 - 1 = 25
Critical Confirmation: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 - 1 = 21
Critical Damage: 1d8 + 6 + 3 + 1 + 1d8 + 6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 3 + 1 + (5) + 6 + 3 + 1 = 31
Kenri Halid Brookmere |
Very nice swing!!!! Dropping gear is just a free action tho, unless shields are different. XD
As the Mino runs away, Kenri breathes a short sigh of relief and moves to Krys' side. Touching her she stabilizes if she hasn't already this turn.
Keeping his eye on the Minotaur, and gripping his hammer, he prepares to charge it from behind.
Next turn. IF she didn't kill it with that nice crit.
GM Tyranius |
Sara slashes her longsword at the Minotaur. The blade slashes clean through the face of the minotaur, cutting it in two. The minotaur falls to the ground in a heap.
Combat Over
Phew! that was a close one. good job
Kenri Halid Brookmere |
Kenri will touch and stabilize all the downed members to be sure they are stable. He gladly surrenders the pack to Mollok, hoping he can heal the others...
" I remember a wand, and she had some alchemist fires, but honestly, I forgot all about her pack."
After doing that he will mosey over to see what the Minotaur had for loot....
Know we don't get to keep it as such, but it feels wrong not to loot the fallen bad guy...
And just because it WAS such an awesome crit..
All Hail Sara Daughter of Mars!!! XD

As Janira rises and takes a quick glance at the deceased Minotaur she says Thank you for saving my life. I am in your debt. Janira stands and brushes some of the dirt from he clothes and sees that they are stained with blood. I will be sure to put in glowing recommendations for your heroism here today! Janira pauses for a moment. Now then what were you able to find out about the caves?
Sir Christoff |
"We discovered a single gillman that seemed to hold the place in high regard for its spiritual significance. We discovered some ancient writings, a version of the teachings of Aroden that are different than what we commonly see in religious texts. We found a Dhampir trying to create a small army of undead gillmen, but killed by them. We found other creatures, kind of like goblins. They attacked us, but we managed to leave one alive. Figured the Society might like to question it. We found a serious of religious murals that seemed to offer a touch of divinity to those able to find their true meaning. And we found that if you mess with the bull, you get the horns. Next time, we'll crack skulls. . ."

Walking over and retrieving his dropped weapons, Kenri points over his shoulder at Sir Christoff..
" What he said. If it ever happens like this again, I think we will stay and help you fight the critter, THEN go exploring..."
