on the counter all the is a a old cracked skull with 3 horns on it...when you reach for it it crumbles at your touch...at that can be heard is " you've have been warned. .

and the sound of lighting brakes to silence making radriel almost jump out of his skin backing way he....

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Shaken to his core Radriel stares fixated at the dusty remains of the skull while slowly backing away. Some children he knew while growing up had childhood fears. Fears of large dogs or wolves, fear of the dark, fears generated by stories that they had overheard or had been told. In all those cases the worst thing was their imagination. Nothing to fear but fear itself

This was not the case for Radriel his Fears , his Tormentors were very much real. He had endured torture, physical and psychological as a babe at the hands of the foul Necromancer, to what end he did not know. Most children's first memories are that of Mom or Dad. Radriel's first memories are that of being surrounded by animated toothless skulls floating around his cage whose sole purpose was to gnaw on and generate fear in the captive.

Most children's first words are Momma or Dadda or some variation of that. Radriels first words were nothing less than a Primal SCREAM

The SCREAM pierces the through the night. This is not the scream of the competent, confident young man although that is who he is and who he has become in spite of and maybe because of his early experiences. No this SCREAM is that of a child with no defenses just half remembered experiences made REAL before his very eyes.

The SCREAM continues until:
a)his voice is lost
b)some one comes and shakes him out of his trance
c) he is damaged by an attack

oh man I was not going to do it but it'd too perfect. ..typically ^_^

broken shimatar: 1d20 ⇒ 20

From behind the counter a ragged skeleton clad in old rusty chain mail. rises up climbing over the counter its head cocked to the side as it walks forward drawing a broken shimitar

"now now young one how long did you think you could escape my notice. I've learned new game that we can play, let me show you one that I enjoy a lot"

The skeleton said with a haunting voice as it attacked, it's eyes glowing purple lighting ^_^

the ones up stairs will hear the blood curdling scream ^_^

damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

don't forget but if your wearing armor right now minus the armor bonus from the damage ^_^

Edit
oh and yes you voice will be gone after that primal scream for a daw days ..or until a potion is taken since that is technically a wound in the throat

DEAR GM Bone Man:
Hey so, I have the Alternative Halfling Racial Trait Craven, which gives me a static +1 to Initiative, and +1 to hit while flanking. It also gives me +1 Dodge bonus to AC, and +10 movement speed while under 'fear effects', and it's harder for me to save against fear effects. My question for the future, which will be prevalent many a time, is this: If we are in roleplay and he's freaked out beyond all freak -which will definitely not be all the time- can I use this Craven trait bonus to AC and movespeed? Thankies.

At the screaming, Hector can only assume the worst.

Oh gods, from the clutches of the lion into the grasp of the bear...

As the gaggle of men rush down the stairs, assuming that's what's happening here Hector keeps in step, right behind the Deputy, hiding in his shadow. His thoughts only imagine worse and worse events unfolding, until they descend the stairs to see the skeleton attacking the flourman.

Oh drat, oh drat, oh drat, oh damn. I hope this Carter can dispatch this thing... If I expose myself, they'll kill ME! Alright Hector, let's just be prepared and hope for... ...the best.

Hector withdraws his dagger from the back of his belt. Intellectually, he knows it may be of little use against a shadow made of bones, but it makes him feel a little steadier.

gm to hector:
that would be no since that effect is only for spells with the fear discretion or like a dragons frightful presence

so what dose every one doo?

I think I moved properly.

As daniel sees it, he stops for just a split second, His cheek tingles where is scar is and an image of a burning building flares into his mind. Then his training comes online he shakes his head and moves to aid the man. Whether he liked him or not, he was in trouble, and worse, undead trouble.

I'm coming!
How, how did it get in here? This could be worse than I thought.... deep breath...

He barely is able to get to the fight from the stairwell and promptly uses his shield to bash the skeleton, remembering from his training that bludgeoning objects worked well.

attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14
damageifhit: 1d4 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 2 = 11

however his injuries, fatigue and surprise at seeing an undead in the building interfere and his strike is cumbersome.

The deputy moves into the common room, scrutinizing the skeleton...

what in the world... a walking, fighting skeleton... even in Ustalav I never imagined I'd see such a thing... dark powers indeed... and how much damage could a rapier do to an empty ribcage...

As deeply buried memories of other horrors in Ustalav begin to well up, he takes a deep breath and focuses on rational thought...

that minstrel created some magical effect with his song... I saw those men's eyes blacken... perhaps our minds have been clouded too...

Calming down, he surveys his surroundings looking for any clues of tricks being played or the way things truly are.

move action into the room. i'll spend my standard action to try to disbelieve any illusions.
will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Carter:
as you look harder at the skeleton it seems to fade for a moment and becomes solid again...what could that mean

"hahaha of you seems to have found some play mates...young one...

the disembodied voice speaks and every word vibrates through all..

"lets see how they like my game then..."

lighting strikes the front door sending slinters flying into the room. and standing there are more skeletons as they begin to enter the room goes cold...

one climbs on top of a table and mounts the and makes a laughs as the rest of them enter...

Fighting for his life now against a being that prior to tonight he had no recourse against Radriel's initial strike provided him with confirmation that this Monster is tangible, not the stuff of childhood nightmares, if he can hit it, He can KILL IT

Knowing that he is in dire straits Radriel accesses a well of good fortune that his Gods have provided him and strikes at his TORMENTOR.

Lucky Presence:

Luck Blessing, Lucky Presence (minor): At 1st level, you can touch an ally and grant it a lucky presence. The target of this luck can call upon it to roll any one ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check twice and take the better result. The decision to use this ability must be made before the roll is made. Once used, the effect ends

See spoiler above. Radriel always has a Lucky Presence prepared as it does not expire. Once used the effect expires and he must use one of his per day blessings to renew it as a Standard action.

Radriel will use this to Roll twice on this attack roll to hit with an Enduring Crane Strike

Enduring Crane Strike:

Discipline: Silver Crane (Strike) [good]; Level: 1
Initiation Action: 1 standard action
Range: Melee attack
Target: Target creature(s)
Duration: Instance

DESCRIPTION

Making his soul a wellspring of holy power, the disciple strikes out at a foe to unleashed his holy power to restore health to himself or an ally. The initiator makes an attack against a target creature, inflicting damage as normal, and the strike restores 1d6 hit points plus his initiation modifier to the initiator or to an ally within 30-ft.

roll twice for this single attack and take the best result
Unarmed Strike attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Unarmed Strike attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

if attack successful
Unarmed Strike damaage: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (5, 3) - 1 = 7
Healing to Radriel: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

In the midst of combat, he is once again much more graceful, and hard to recognize as the hunched-over man who first entered the inn.

round 5

Deputy Randall Carter {is trying to get to the door.}
Radriel Shadowsbane {flurry of blows against same Skeleton as last round}
Daniel Valiros {attacked last round}
Hector Lindenbrook {robot}
Vishnya Mallick{attacked last round}
Belo Flavatsky {cast CLW and was attacked}
The hateful undead{laughing }
-------------------------------------------------------------------

The elation Radriel felt watching his TORMENTOR crumble vanishes as the Skeletons speak in unison. While he can fight back against these monsters, he now knows that they are just puppets of a Greater Evil.

He strikes with another Flurry against the Skeleton he attacked the previous round:

Unarmed Strike #1,Flurry: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
Damage: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (6, 3) - 1 = 8

Unarmed Strike #2,Flurry: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
Damage: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (1, 1) - 1 = 1

2nd lvl can't come quickly enough for Radriel. He Really needs that Wis to hit and Dam. This is painful right now

i mostly post from my phone, so I can't update the map very often... I should already be 30' farther forward than I look after last round... It seems like maybe I should have provoked an AoO somewhere in there...

The deputy finishes moving cautiously to the door. Looking back, he calls to Hector, "small one, with me! That little knife is worthless against skeletons but we might find a use for it yet!" Then he swings the door open.
