Voice of Awesomeness |

I've been letting you all talk amongst yourselves before I get involved. I did similar when I first started this game, as a way to bring the PCs together more organically.
Ferelda, you can feel free to join in, whenever you want. I thought I had told ya that, but I see I did not.

Voice of Awesomeness |

I have no clue why this has stalled out.
Again, the PCs are to be interacting with each other currently. I'd like you all to sort of get to know one another, before I move things along.
If a few more days pass without either of our two new recruits posting anything(and a PM reminder from me), I might reopen recruitment.

Rupert Saint |

If we re-open recruitment, I would suggest that it be treated as an actual recruitment rather than a player-drive. In my experience, taking the first players who are interested has not been a reliable method. I understand what happened with this one (in fact it's partially my fault), but I thought I'd speak up just in case.

Voice of Awesomeness |

Alright, let's talk PC builds,
Ragar is our heavy/assassin. Odd combo, but not overly unheard of.
For everybody else, I am fine with you making whatever you want. I can tailor missions to your skill sets.
The original and current idea is for this to be very much a fantasy mafia. Pretty much any and all crimes are in their purview with the few exceptions I've pointed out elsewhere.
Will post some more later.

Voice of Awesomeness |

OK guys, sorry this took me longer than I expected, but here's what I plan to post as the new recruitment thread. Let me know your thoughts:
Before I start throwing out character creation rules there's a few important things I need to mention first:
The game began with a lengthy conversation among more or less all potential players, in the discussion thread, so the PCs had a chance to really connect. It worked out great, until we lost a bunch of the original PCs and had to replace them.
I would like to do this again, having the new recruits bond with the old guard, but I must stress that I am looking for people who likely won't be going anywhere any time soon, baring of course, emergencies or the like. Not to be a jerk, but if you might skip out due to a slow pace or the game isn't to your liking, don't bother showing interest.
One thing I strive for, almost above all else, is to work with PCs to make the game as close to perfect as possible. I've even helped save games I was a PC in, one of which is currently my longest running PbP.
If something isn't going the way you'd like, or your build sucks compared to how you thought it was going to be, or I suck as a GM and you have 37 reasons and ideas that could make me better, instead of leaving my game, and your fellow PCs in a lurch, TALK TO ME. I listen well to all that is brought up to me, and will definitely think about everything you say.
Depending on what's going on in my life, the game may slow to a crawl, but despite that, I will always post something when I am capable, and definitely have long term plans for this game, and the group.
It is an evil game, but if there are certain lines you personally do not want seen crossed, please make it obvious in your posting. While the game is based on being members of an criminal organization, its also sort of based on being the best of the worst evils. So there's probably going to be some classic good guy heroics, but only because those bad guys are disrupting or hurting business. Or are truly just vile.
Also, let me say I am sorry I never posted anything else on Monday. I had made that post towards the end of my work day, intending to either continue it later before I left, or once I got home. Suffice to say, by the time that happened, I completely forgot the rest of what I was planning on posting.

Back from Irrisen, which is, coincidentally, a frozen Hell!
If your opening recruitment again, I would like to throw my hat into the ring if you don't mind too much
This would be awesome!!! I will probably rebuild though since we have an arcane presence back!!!!!!

There, all rebuilt if Voice allows me to join
Natalia now has more ice spells, different familiar, and a slight different backstory. She's now 19 instead of 44, she's a Jadwiga, She's from the Aelena family and her Great Great Great Grandmother is Baba Yaga. She also wants to murder and bathe in the blood of Queen Elvanna and her brood of winter witches.

Heh. Now's a good time to mention: Rupert's secretly ex-Red Mantis. That said, I'm probably re-building, and may be abandoning the character in favor of something different.
Cool. I am still weighing options. What are you thinking?

Not sure. Possibly some "white-collar" crime. Alchemist specializing in poisons, perhaps? As a mechanical option, poisons are terribly weak though. Ragar's going for the assassin; Rupert could be re-hashed as a thief. I could simply excise the assassination aspect and keep everything else the same.

Voice of Awesomeness |

This is a pretty decent PrC based on poisoning Daggermark Poisoner
I rather like poisons, so I'll work with you to make em badass.
