A pair of daggers land on the table, one in front of Iovanna, one in front of Kun Phi. The dagger in front of the man from Tian Xia has a slight red glow about it.

I am actually in it for the demonstration of my skills towards the creation of fame and wealth which will ultimately lead to the satisfaction of settling very old scores. Ultimate vengeance is my goal, but I DO so enjoy the journey!

He sees the daggers hit the table...

"After getting a small measure of your strength, I pity the objects of your vengeance." Big, strong and capable of talking with words consisting of more than one syllable. Not bad...

Looks at the daggers as they hit the table. Then looks around for where they came from, then looks back to the daggers. "And what, pray tell, are we supposed to do with these daggers? Please tell me it isn't anything as cliche as having the two of us duel for the position?"

Natalia thinks for a second, "I do believe our esteemed masters have made their choice. A new dagger and an old one I do believe." Indicating the difference between the activated dagger and the inactive one

This was really hard. I like all three of you, but I just don't think I can handle 8 PCs, even if I split them up on occasion.

That said. If somebody was willing to Co-GM with me, I would be all for accepting Mogir as well. PM me if that is something you're interested in.

Sweet pushes her chair back, stands up, and bows her head slightly to congratulate the two on receiving their knives.

Her demeanor is completely different than it was only a few moments before.

Phi looks at the blades on the table, and back to the others at the table. He looks like he's about to say something when Sweet makes her comment, and then he chooses to keep his mouth shut.

Phi picks up the slightly glowing dagger and turns to Lady Natalia, "The glow has meaning, then? Would you please enlighten me as to this meaning?"

Natalia nods, "One of our number fell, the dagger was his. You are replacing him as it were, the glow indicates that it was activated, but I'm sure you will need to activate it as well"

"It seems we'll part ways after all. I say good luck to you. I do have a parting gift." With that he pulls yet another fruit from his pack, but this one is green, prickly and about as large as Sweet's head. "My people call it a durian, and I love this one most of all." The fruit already reeks, producing a sickly sweet smell.

With that he sticks his knife in it and cuts it open. The moment the fruit is opened a pungent smell of old gym sock and rotten unions fills the room. He cuts a piece of the bright yellow flesh and stuff it in his mouth, "Try it, it's delicious. Tastes of custard and almonds." He cuts of another piece before he gets up and takes his leave, leaving the fruit on the table. Once outside he turns around, winks, and climbs up on the building.

No sweat, at least this part was enjoyable :) Had to make an in character exit.

With the amount of PbPs that I am involved in, it is surprising that I have never interracted with either of you, to my knowledge.

I just started loking at PBP games here on the Paizo site. Heck, I haven't been in a PBP game for YEARS until a couple months ago, when I joined one advertised on the Paradigm Concepts site , and then I started trying to get into games here. I was selected for 2 games this week, actually. I'm not going to try to get into any more for a while at least.

The other here is a RotRL game. I have as much trouble remembering to post using the alias there as I do here. I normally see the lack of a character portrait as soon as it posts, and manage to correct it with an edit pretty quickly (like I did with this post, actually). I still keep forgetting, though.

The harmless banter is refreshing. I too am oldish Kun, but I started late...43 with two boys, 2&4. They keep me young. :=)

Yeah, my wife says the same thing, but she also agrees that she will settle for a female dog because the boys will ultimately be much easier to raise.
