Dave looks suprised at the barrier but when he hears your words he looks at himself and sees the heat haze before it dissipates and he looks mildly surprised. He closes his eyes,for a moment you feel no emotion coming from him at all when he opens them they come through, but at more of a trickle "sorry about that, it's been a long couple of days"
"Yeah... I'm gonna take a break from sparring. Blades are harder then they look. Still, glad I'm taking this as my alternate self-defense style." he sits down, and mixes toxins. It seems to relax him.
"Thank you." he mutely stands and follows the healer wherever she leads. If there is a mirror where he is going, he tries to catch a glimpse of the change in hair Raelle had mentioned.

Midori looks intruigued by this idea. She hadn't really ever worn something like that, other than a kimono during festivals... she did like wearing those. "Um... Ignace-chan.. maybe I could wear a pretty dress too?"
Ace looks a tad bit sheepish when he notices Ginni's restraint "Sorry Ginni. I should be more upset, though in truth on the inside I am still quite in shock. I can play it off well, and to be honest, you just solved a problem I've been wracking my brain for a solution to. Now that I have an idea of what's going on, I want to try and fix it as soon as possible"

"I don't see why she wouldn't like you. If you're worried about it talk to her when your sister is there. Morrivan and Raelle are friends. Also roommates. That might help with getting to know her better."
"I just hope she doesn't think of me as competition or anything." I hope I don't think I'm competition either. "I'm sure it'll be fine when I talk to her. If you and Raelle like her then she must be a good person." Vai shrugs, and starts putting away the rest of the equipment in earnest. "When is the first meeting for the fencing club anyway?"
There is a mirror in the upper corner of the room. It appears to be there to help the healers keep an eye on the patients more easily.
The healer has him stand on the scanner platform and hits a couple of buttons, and then goes and gets a scroll while the machine is working. She comes back with the scroll and casts restoration and then looks at the readout.
Ardiente looks a great deal more healthy as the casting goes off, colour returning to his face once again. His medical report shows that this is the second time he's needed similar treatment in the past few days.
He keeps staring at the mirror in the top corner of the room, and touching the purple streak in his hair.
The scan shows something a little odd, though it's probably nothing to worry about. His genetic code is the same as the one the school has on file, but his epigenetics - what determines which genes get expressed - is very different. The picture the school has on file for him also has no purple streak in his hair.

"Ohh. I like tea, Ignace-chan. I would like that very much." Midori said with an encouraging smile.

"Okay. I may have slightly joined a band yesterday..." she says sheepishly. "Though I don't know when our first practice is. I'll make sure they don't overlap."

"Oh...a makeover is when you help someone look completely different. It usually involves new clothes, new hairdo, and some form of nail polish and make-up...and giggling. Lots of giggling."

"Well, this is interesting," the healer said as she got Ardiente's scan results. "Your scan shows that you're fine, perfectly healthy, especially after that restoration. And your genetic code is the same. But different genes are being expressed....ummmm....that means that you have some physical changes....not sure what she did when she brought you back, but it definitely scrambled some things. And gave you purple hair," she said, amused as she noticed Ardiente examining his reflection. "It doesn't look like there's anything physically wrong with you though, so the changes are either neutral or beneficial. Nothing to worry about. You have a clean bill of health, as far as I'm concerned," she said with a reassuring smile.
"That is a relief. Thank you." Ardiente gives a wan smile, forcing himself to at least be polite to the healer before going back over to Raelle and the Phoebus boys.
"Well, they said there might be a few changes, but there is nothing 'wrong', per se."
Sara wanders over to the group of girls talking. "What's a tea party?"
Zilla examines the new girl. "Oh hi. I don't think we have met. I'm Zilla. As for the question I think we drink tea but i don't really know past that." Zilla looked at the others to see if they could answer.

"Oh! I know this one! It's when you put on fancy dresses and sit around a table having tea and cookies....except we don't have real tea cause it's gross. We usually have glycerin instead....but if not-firebirds come over to visit Mama makes real tea for them cause they can get sick if they eat and drink our food just like we can get sick on their food," she piped up from where she was curled up on the floor with a picture book.

Midori seemed a bit worried now that her classmates maybe thought she didn't look very good, and so needed to change. She cautiously poked her horn... still tender from the day before. She had never really worn make-up before... unless black facepaint counted. Sometimes they used that to hide better.

"I'll take you to see Krays now, Ardiente. Umm....I guess we'll see you guys at lunch," she told the brothers, thinking that this part wasn't necessarily something that Ardiente would want a lot of company for.
"See you whenever. No guarentees about lunch, sometimes I'm a little lost in my work." he heads off.
Lang just sits reading his book. sort of listening in though not intentionally. he remains silent and can only smile at the progress Ignace is makeing. feeling glad he has helped her so much.
Lang tries to hide his joy from the girls by keeping himself buried in his book.
then something catches his eye in the book. a familiar face is pictured there, someone he met in the spirit world.
he then reads intensely about this person.
The giggle from Raelle is enough to produce the morning's first real, actual smile from Ardiente. No sadness, guilt or regret there for a momet. It flashes on his face briefly, before vanishing again. If Raelle notices the sheepish grin, it might reinforce what she read in David's note this morning... though her talent thus far for noticing the attentions of her male suitors might suggest otherwise. "Alright then, let's go."
grim sits near the front grinning."So, Grim. To get a better handle on what we'll be working with, why don't you tell me where you feel lost in how your powers work?"
"Helix, get us some tea, please." A study skeleton in the corner, hops down off of it's display, and heads over to a cabinet. It opens the cabinet and pulls out the necessary things to make tea, and starts making tea.
"It's best to not complicate instructions." Krays says with a wink.
grim takes some of the tea, putting probably two or three times as much sugar into the tea as would generally be recommended but not more than would be considered normal for a kid to serve himself if not told to do otherwise "well, most of the time I don't know how they work they just do, especially when I'm like fighting or something, I can see and hear the spirits that cling to the earth, umm i can cast a few spells I guess... I kinda zoned out when the tutors mom hired tried to teach me why it worked but they were Sooooo boorrring" he blushes "sorry"

"um I think so, is that important?" he looks a little unsure of himself, and feels more than a little foolish, he drinks some of the tea in a mostly pointless effort to hide this.
"Is this ok with you Ignace?" Zilla looked to Ignance with a bit of worry. She remembered what Lang had told her.
Ignace was frantically studying the books in front of her.
"Too many people...
Chara decided to take charge. She knew what her big sister got like in situations like this.
"Ignace can only handle a few people at a time. Since she invited Midori and Zilla first, they'll be her guests this time. But since she's throwing a tea party, I want to have one too, so we'll just have another tea party in a separate location with me and you," she said pointing to Sara, "and you," she said, pointing to Vriskra. "Do you like tea?" she asked Vriskra, walking a little ways away from the table where the older girls were sitting and towards where Vriskra was backing away to.
vriskra shys away, seeing as zilla still didn't want vriskra anywhere near her.
Lang see vriskra not seemingly welcome at that table (he could be wrong) but waves her over if she wants to sit with Lang.
Lang waves to Chara as well indicating she is also welcome
As there were less people around the table Ignace started to relax again.
"I need to check my make up. Ignance could you show me were the rest room is?" Zilla wasn't wearing any make up but needed an excuse that wouldn't sound to rude to get Ignace away from the large group.
