So this isn't the best place to practice....you can probably get assigned a practice space in the basement. Or the simrooms. But out here isn't really the safest place to be throwing fire around."

"Not many, no. Though there is one going around that says you respond to electricity like a firebird does to fire. It's pretty stupid, and is usually followed by a joke about making 'a static charge'. Honestly, there are some real idiots at this school. I can start punching people if you want them to stop. I've had enough time wasted dealing with idiots in the last two days to last a long time."

"The good news is that the magic is the same as the wards." Taron pauses to give his mother the requested moments. "The bad news is that I have no idea why he has so little control."

"Oh, and the hyena girl said we should tell his sister what happened. I thought the SIM room teacher would do it, but since the sister isn't here yet..."

"Taron....if the magic is the same as the wards, what's the power source?"

"Oh! Right. I don't think Rosa is tuned to hear telepathy...I'll send for Tyrrin now. I think she needs to hear this. And we can use her for some preliminary tests since she also gained magical abilities at the same time as Ehos. Hers are just less destructive."

Aananda hit a button on the comm. "Would Tyrrin Denulia please report to Professor Sunwake's lab as soon as possible."

Raelle walked into basic mechanics class late and handed the teacher a handkerchief before heading to her seat. There were even more patterns on her skin now than there had been before, including one on her face that looked like a stylized cloud curling above her eye.

She sat down and started working on her project.

Lang just looks at her confused.

I do know that he did not harm me and I have no reason to be mad at him. there may be many things I don't know about, But Master Hito did teach me nothing good ever comes from choices made out of anger or revenge.

Lang looks to the firebird then back to Morrivan.

But you are my teacher I will obey your wisdom

Lang bows to Morrivan I am ready to begin when you are

Taron runs a few more tests, then growls in frustration.

Grim makes it to the wheel on the top of the ship, he looks around and tries to be mature, it doesn't last long, pretty soon he's pretending he's on the high sees pretending to steer it this way and that, he keeps presence of mind enough to tell the shadows to come closer to the ship and hide in it's shadow, and has the dolphins circle the ship as well.

Quote:
"In the meantime we should probably think about going back to class....which would involve finding a way to retrieve my underthings from the chandelier....I don't suppose you have a ladder?" ;P

With a saddened expression. "I guess your right we should get to class.... Alas casualties of war. I guess you will have come back and get them." Dom laughed before bending the water from the basin into set of stairs. As the stairs finished forming they froze solid. Dom climbed up the stairs and gathered the cloths.

"If Ehos, and probably Tyrrin too....if they're powers are being fueled by the wards that means there's a chance that they could knock out the wards by using their powers, no? Or am I wrong about that?"

With a light hand on Bradley's shoulder, Anahita eventually stirs. Too much calm without purpose perhaps throwing her off. She says to him equally lightly, "Find a place on the roof, you have the Headmaster's consent to make your aviary. I'll be happy to assist as desired. You should also seek a teacher of psionics, or similar, for the testing I suggested. Or the Headmaster himself, he did say he was accepting of doing that. Thank you again for your effort earlier. I hope you are content."

Then, she'll head off, waving, and go roam the halls. Her free study period: Study and learn more about the school by exploring.

After a while of wandering Anahita comes upon a catfolk floating along the halls coated in jewelry bla bla bla you remember one of my descriptions. "Oh hey there. You're Ana right? I'm heading to town care to come?"

got a bit lost gonna put this here again.

"In theory? Yes. In practice? I'm not so sure. The wards are fueled by expended energy, and if they are using enough power at the time to drain the wards, then they are also recharging them. It would be a pretty slow drain. If they could survive channeling that much power."

"Now, the big question....how do we fix it? We need to untangle them from the wards. Especially Ehos. Tyrrin's 'sky painting' isn't such a big danger, but Ehos literally can't even breathe without hurting people unless he's silenced."

Male Shaman(Nature) 6/Green Faith Acolyte 10/Ranger(Spell-Less) 16(Gestalt)

Somewhere out in the wilds, a young man greets a somewhat older man with respect. They walk a little apart from their people, down to a glistening pond fed by a stream. It is far enough away from everybody else that nobody will overhear, yet close enough to return quickly if an attack comes.

The two are old friends, despite their relative youth and they talk first of a few idle topics, before the elder of the two gets to his point "I have made up my mind Silinrul. With *her* no longer around, I can finally have your sister take her rightful place by my side. Go then, and bring her back, with all due haste. Too long as she been away, and probably grown soft and weak because of it. It will take some time to harden her again to our ways, but we must if we are to survive. The reports I have been getting from our scouts are grave, yet we can hold out, for awhile at least."

The younger man nods his agreement "It shall be as you say. Two weeks to reach her, a week at the most to get her to return, and then two back. A little over a month then till you get your *wedding*"

And with that, he turns, and goes to prepare his things for the journey. "Two weeks till I am reunited with my sister. Two weeks till I arrive at Avalon" He thinks.

shadow attack rolls, going variant shadow, with claw attacs 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
damage if nessairy 1d8 ⇒ 2 1d8 ⇒ 2 this is slashing damage that would come with 1 point of str drain but your immune so there's that tell me if any hit
