an arrow hits the beast, pushing it foreward, as it's struck by more lighting from the storm. The beast's chest is torn open by the sword, only for teeth to form in it- it emits a horrid gurgling sound, and the chest mouth vomits a pool of acid on the ground, and across Antony's sword, a massive pool of the wretched substance forming on the ground.
1d6 ⇒ 6 damage to the sword and all gear, ignoring harness.
the horrid acid lingers on the gorund, pooling around Antony's feet, forming into a 20 foot wide pool.

the beast howls, seared, frostbitten, and cut into- it flies into the air provoking an AOO from Antony and it's mouth lights up, breathing a line of chaotic energy directly down at him.

Chaos damage, ref 20 halves: 6d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 5, 6, 3) = 29
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

EDIT due To misread

the gnoll that the others ignored gets a huge gash through his chest, armor, and couldn't even put up his sheild. He drops, bleeding profusely.

sum up of round 2
One of the melee gnolls dropped, the Mage is suffering. Everyone can get here at the end of this round, and can now act normally. The other gnoll is nearly dead, and quite upset.

the attack scrapes off the creature's tough hide. It steps backwards, and casts the spell once more.
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

you land prone, and due to your spectacular failure, get your head buried in the Sand, blinding you for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds or until you take a move action to clear your eyes.
everyone roll initiative. The camp is a run action away for most.

1d20 ⇒ 18
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

you may post actions out of initiative order, and if something changes that affects your decision, I'll sort it out.

once you start deceding, the creature does a few gestures, and a blast of magical energy flies up. The other two creatures are up in a flash, as the bolt hits you without fail. Take
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 damage, fall ten feet. You can decend 60ft as a double move, or all 120 in a desperate run, but if you try that, I'll require a fly check to avoid a faceful of dirt.

"Indeed."
she watches you, waiting for you to do much of anything.

Renkai doesn't seem to care about anything

she starts laughing.

" that's a good one! "Nice pit fiend." Haha!"
her face gets a lot more serious.
"But yeah, that's not happening. If i wanted sexual pleasure, then I'd just make a succubus do it. No, i want to see how you mortals act. I grow tiered of my dominated company, and want to see what evil mortals are capable of. Like those paladins... Hah! Holy warriors my ***, they kill like everyone else. More, if i had to say. Their so called good gods, advocating "justified" murder under the guise of holy work... It's laughable."

I'll reward you. In fact, I'm feeling a little generous today. i may just let you leave with your life and some other assistance, if you entertain aim me enough."

she speaks as if she's making the most generous offer she would ever make.

the creature observers what is occurring, very interested.

after eating, the monster came onto the beach, watching these odd creatures.

that.... Is probably the most odd way of eating you have ever seen.

Seeing the squid prepare to lunge jiaolung says softly :: food is on the way...be patient ...::

the creature grudgingly relaxes. Hopes it doesn't take much longer. 2 weeks under a ship makes you hungry.

Jiaolung Sheessuroussen wrote:
One problem.... If it lunges sheess will b$@*&slap it again... And drag it to another plane.... Sorun isn't wounded

all it needs is for soron to scold it really. It's just hungry.( lunge for efebe' not soron.)

when efebe get close, it will lunge, still wanting dinner.

the creature relaxes, and it's tentacles start shrinking and relaxing.

the creature doesn't listen to efebe. It must touch him, it must know he is ok. After all, he said he could help...

The monster swishes it's tentacle, gently moving grim.

The creature tries to touch him, moving it's tentacle slowly.

Taking this out of game thread

If the squid would have been tossed... its 10 ft movement speed would have never made it back to sea... At will call lightning and breath weapon followed by claws fangs tail and horns plus if it got to the beach sheess would have made a second crater beside the first....

But I love this story better...

=D great improv dude!

Prity sure that he can get free of grapple without this. Hs has a large cmb and cmd t grapple. Counter grappling, if successful, would cause him to slip off you due to freedom of moment. This just makes it less boring.

was tossing it there to get it away from water and Sorun... And the kids are in the beach... He was tossing you well past the treeline... And besides he has a ton of attacks he hasn't bothered to use...

1d20+27+10

"oh..." The dragon eases its hostile position slightly...

well, wouldn't that have made for a boring story. Also, would have moved back to soron anyway, fully healed by the time it got there.

the creature stops twitching, and moves to the creature slowly, skeptically.

Jiaolung Sheessuroussen wrote:

[/ooc]It can't hurt me with its attacks...my Dr is to high and my AC is to high... Can't be effected by electricity either.... And it should technically be in a crater on the island....[/ooc]

"my ward... You cannot have him!" The gargantuan dragon roars at the beast..

the creature actually seems to grow concerned. It stops moving, twitching rapidly. It's tentacles grow thinker slowly.

Max DMG from that is around 120 to him, maximized. No matter, 2500 hp.

and apparently essentially ignores the puny half strenght lightning bolt I sent at it

In water, it is pretty much indestructible due to 50 regen.

Jiaolung Sheessuroussen wrote:

freedom of movement, it can't hold me...

Grimacing at the burns and pain the dragon calls down bolts of lightning to scorch its prey

Not hold, just use your talons as something to halt it's newfound momentum, then release.

as the creature hits the water, it dives immediately, towards soron.

The thing grabs the creature's talons, resists being thrown, and forces itself to drop back into the water, after coating you in acidic oil.

Grim Jr. wrote:
Grim grimaces and flys up out of his reach and heals himself casts shield of faith and tries again with his scythe ready to block trying to time it so that it was distracted by the dragon.

it spins, and it's eyes glow a moment. it pushes oil out at great speed, the current preventing you from advancing, and the oil in the water preventing vision.

Jiaolung Sheessuroussen wrote:

broken ribs...he is asleep for quite awhile.... not needing its eyes the jiaolung spins and slaps the tentacled monster with barn-shattering force and unleashes a lightning bolt from its maw at the being moving toward Sorun...

the creature doesn't move. it refuses to let the assailant near the odd creature. it's wounds stitch back up, and it uses only one tentacle to anchor itself as the blow is made. it lashes at you with incredible speed, each hit leaving burning acidic residue. dmg over time. point of refrence- 2d6 acid for 5 rounds. each hit stacks the effect, but not duration.

Grim Jr. wrote:
so haste makes it 60, well you ovbiously freaked him out, but he identifies you with his knowlege arcana bonus, and figures... where the heck did that come from! ok ok, not a problem right now, priorities, first rescue fish butt then figure out what to do about the dragon and the toxic sushi platter grim flies over to where sheldon was deposited and tries to wake him up, if he is not already concious

as you get close, the squid bats you away, and you go flying, and you hear a few ribs snap.

the squid is no longer where it was, using oil as cover, making it impossible to see how fast it could move. in reality, it only moved 40 feet, well within range of guarding this creature on the seafloor.

the creature isn't phased and looks around. it sets souron down on the flattest place it could find, and turns towards it's new found aggressor. it doesn't seem even slightly afraid as it spews oil towards it's foe, then moves out of the way.

the creature picks him up, and moves him up some. it applys too much pressure to the wound, cracking the rib. it seems even more confused.

decided it wasn't mindless. much more fun that way.

when it slapped you, you heard a crack. there are a few little, white splinters floating in the water, witch is turning red. you are bleeding from the chest. It looks at you, almost curious as to why you are bleeding.

as the creature is freed, it flails around some. is stops, and looks around, even more confused then when it was encased. it's tentacles are thicker, much faster, and move with a great power to them that wasn't there before. it looks to souron, who it had slapped many times in it's flailing.

the twitching only grows faster. cracks start to form around it's long tentacles. through your empathy, you know just how desperate this thing is.

Sheldlonsorunsun Suressuseschi wrote:
Sorun tries to peek through one of the cracks... "everyone! It's Dea..."

no, it's still moving in there when you look in, just very little. It's muscles twitch rapidly, but only visible at close range.

The monster stops flailing. In fact, it stopped moving.

As the monster flails, the adamantite cracks a little.

the monster starts trying to move, freaking out. above, it starts raining. hard. the rain burns to touch, and starts to melt skin. then, as fast as it started, it stopped. point of refrence, 2d6 acid, no save.

the creature looks at it's pray flying away, and beings to give chase, but it stops, and turns around, looking at souron again.

Grim Jr. wrote:

grab, so no.

the creature doesn't move or even seem to notice. it looks over at grim, and shocks him, then throws him off, still perplexed be souron.

the creature is staring at soroun, and doing nothing to him, indecisive.

Grim Jr. wrote:
we going cinimatic? just saying grim would at least try to swat away the tentacle with his scythe, he has the web of steel feet so there is even a way for him to do that mechanicly

yes, i assumed you put up a fight.

some of it's skin comes off from the wail, but it doesn't flinch, and the wound it stitched up in seconds.

Sheldlonsorunsun Suressuseschi wrote:
Stunned and in the monster's grip Sorun is helpless...

stunned for only one round. as it pulled you in, the stun wore off, and the creature makes no attempt to renew it.

at the same time, it strikes at grim. it grabs him, and holds him tightly, not paying him any real heed by comparison to the odd creature that he was reluctant to harm. it stars crushing you somewhat, enough that a normal person would start to get hurt badly.

it burbles non sensibly, but timed almost like a reply. breathes in sharply, and spits a black substance out, it burns like acid, and goes straight into your eyes. it... seems to be acid mixed with crude oil.

Sorun sputters and loses the spell... Then purifies the water all around him...

"can you speak? Can we save you?"

Once again, it freezes for a moment. it makes odd noises, that just result in more crude oil. It seems to almost consider somthing for a moment, before lasing out again. this time it hits, electricity coursing through your veins, and tensing your muscles, rendering you incapeable of movement. it pulls you in, and looks at you for a while, seemingly unsure as to what to do.

60 ft cone spread, 2d6 acid, for point of refrence. refl 25 vs blindness, also for point of reference.
