it burbles non sensibly, but timed almost like a reply. breathes in sharply, and spits a black substance out, it burns like acid, and goes straight into your eyes. it... seems to be acid mixed with crude oil.
Sorun sputters and loses the spell... Then purifies the water all around him...

Grim dives into the water and shouts get out, and then shouts at the octapi much louder it sounds like the wail of a banshee but seems to carry more force, green rings come out of his mouth

"SORUN-KUN!!" Midori screams as the gunk hits him in the face. She focuses and instantly the gunk turns to steel and falls off the merfolk, not burning him anymore.
"Run, mina=san! I'll hold it off!" Weapons appear in Midori's hands with lightning quickness, and she hurls them into the huge monster. The tiny weapons seem to do almost nothing.

Anahita, to the senses and spells that Tybalt has, carries nothing magical about her. No invisible things, just a plain human girl that stands out as a beauty, charismatic, and very athletic and ..impressive. The sort of impressive that some people might attribute to either a leader, or warlord of her species. Call it a subtle awe, or air about her.
Certainly nothing magical though.

It seems to almost consider somthing for a moment, before lasing out again. this time it hits, electricity coursing through your veins, and tensing your muscles,rendering you incapeable of movement. it pulls you in, and looks at you for a while, seemingly unsure as to what to do."you are not... "if you could be saved it won't be at the cost of my friends!" Sorun shouts and then sends a spray of icy shards into it's face..

"well not so much walking or flying but more of, if it works of course, I and up to five people dissapear here and reappear a ways away and after doing this a few times we eventually land in the town. And its 51.35 seconds to be exact. If this is to work I need to know, do spells and magic affect you normally? You really just can't assume that here. You do want to go do you?"
Grim shouts, "We need to get out of here, we should re group with the others, I still got one shadow guarding them, but if there are more of these it won't be enough!"

Midori didn't want to see anymore friends die. She wouldn't let that happen! SHE WOULDN'T! Not if she could save them! If her weapons didn't stop it... maybe!
With a cry of frustration, with Midori standing on the rail on the side of the ship nearest to the monster, there is a suddenly dazzling burst of light from her horn, and the entire ocean around the sea creature turns to ... some kind of metal. It's not steel... it's adamantine, trapping the creature in what was now a huge cage formed exactly to him.
"RUN MINA-SAN! I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG I CAN DO THIS!!!" her horn is glowing blindingly bright, it's difficult to look at her.
as soon as grim breaks the surface he takes to the sky and looks for sheess, while keeping a lookout for Sheldon
The sea starts to become frosty as the temperature drops below zero.... Sorun knows the encased creature isn't dead...
Sheess is around Gareth's neck... "what is going on? where is Sorun?" Sheess hisses..
grim looks at the rain and thinks awe my new jaket, there's holes in it he shakes his head not the time Jr, not the time, where is that snake grim spots the snake "there you are, sheldon is in the water, I tried to get him to come he told me to go find you, I thought he was coming too, where is that idiot!"

For a moment, Anahita's gaze seems to be fixed, as if she's in a trance once Tybalt explains some of the basics of his travel plan(s). Once a few seconds, two or three, pass, she moves again where she was not moving previously.
"Yes, of course- magics will affect me if I do not resist them, or allow them to occur. I am familiar with the process." She gives him a bit of a smile there.
"As for wanting to go, I am curious of this town. Why, isn't as important. Though, I have no coins with which to purchase anything-- and I do need more clothing, though this will suffice if I cannot arrange for barter of another sort. I welcome the opportunity to travel with you, Tybalt. Let us proceed with exploring this town."
Then after a beat, she quickly asks, "Are they human there, or something else?" Her gaze is curious and uncertain at once, expressive features for a human female teenager.
Midori screams in pain as the acid burns her skin and starts to dissolve her clothes, but her resolve is fixed, and the horn seems to even glow brighter.
Sheess hisses loudly at grim
the snake is frantic with worry

The snake writhes trying to get to the water
Gareth whimpers to Shess leaves, hurridly trying to make a canopy out of sand to keep the acid rain off.
"I hope he can." Taron replies as he begins constructing scenarios and testing them for chances of success.
Grim points at where he last saw sorun "over there what should we do?!?" despite being 10ft tall at the moment the young boy in front of you is the epitomy of a child trying not to look like he's scared, but you note his eyes dart over to midori and garth just as much as at the water, and you figure that he might not be scared primarially for himself.
