"My... my symbol?" Vai asks. She had only met this boy once before... he's a Champion too?! Just how many ARE there?
"The necklace, dummy. Necklaces are popular I guess cause Love and Time both have necklaces too. Think of it like a relic. It's like an amped up holy symbol turned up to 11. Geez, what am I, a babysitter? Explaining things to noobs, guarding princesses...this job sucks!"

"Bring him over here, I will heal him." Tyrrin calls across the room to Ursula.
Still acting non-chalant, as if nothing happening was special, Tyrrin replies to Jaiye. She was trying to find a way to talk to this lycan in a way that would make sense to her. "That's a pretty narrow view of the world. Yes, if left to themselves, the strong will survive and the weak will die, but that isn't how intelligent people should view the world. The strong should see the weak as an opportunity, not as a burden or something to be cast aside. Just because they are weak doesn't mean they are useless, and if you help them survive, they will help you to thrive."
Tyrrin examines Bradley's wounds and casts a healing spell appropriate for the damage. Tyrrin looks pointedly at the lycan as she casts her spell, hoping to demonstrate exactly what she had been talking about.
She can cast Heal, but she won't, instead preferring to cast Cure Critical Wounds at CL 14, or a similar lower-level spell.
Jaiye watches thoughtfully as Ursula drags Bradley over and then thanks Tyrrin profusely for helping her idiot brother.
"If there's ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask," Ursula said as she steered Bradley away making sure to stand behind him so his need for a new pair of pants wouldn't be so glaringly obvious.Jaiye waited until Ursula and Bradley were out of earshot. "Keep the weak around so you can use them to get ahead, huh? I like the way you think. The witch was like that too before she went soft and she even had us dancing to her tune. Hmm. You make a good point, Tyrrin." Jaiye smiled. It was a rather frightening smile. "You know, you're not so bad."
Aw, Tyrrin's just taken her first baby steps towards the dark side...she'll be an evil overlord before she knows it. ;P

Kitty Tanaka wrote:"Aaagh! Now I feel like a jerk for having been jealous of her," she said putting her head down on the table."I think she's an empath or something." Michael admits as he takes a bite of his food and finds it delicious. "Would be a good way to get tips, I guess."

"Wait....you mean she knows it's been driving me crazy and she's just messing with my head??? Oh, now I really am confused."
"I don't know. I said I think she might be an empath. Considering I didn't know I was psychic until a week or two ago, you probably shouldn't put much weight on my opinion."
Headmaster Ryo
Ephebe knocked on the door to the headmaster's office again. It was entirely probable he wasn't in...she might have to wait until after the weekend. Well, it wasn't like she had any classes to miss.
Ephebe is about to knock again when the door opens.
"Sorry about the wait, I was double and triple checking the wards that will be in place for the War. I'm guessing this is about the schedule change? Blame the fact I was around your mother when she was pregnant."
And I've got to go. See you guys later.
Ephebe
"Oh, I'm not upset about the schedule change exactly. Although I would have preferred to hear it from someone other than Madame. It's perfectly reasonable to expect me to drop classes like advanced PE, light blades, and ballet while I'm pregnant. It's just that I only have two classes left and with Dad gone one of those is self-study. I've suddenly got a lot of time on my hands and I can't spend it all napping," she said, joking.
"Actually, there was something else I've been thinking about too that I wanted to talk to you about. Umm...have you thought about expanding the school? It's just, your kids are getting to be about old enough for school themselves, but you can't put little kids into classes with teenagers....it might be a good idea to start an elementary school as well....like maybe in another wing of the building? I didn't just think of it out of the blue. It's...well, I was talking to James about the possibility of staying on and teaching after graduating and it would be weird to be teaching people who were classmates not that long before. But it wouldn't be weird at all to be teaching kids who are much younger. So I was just wondering if you'd already thought about it."

Pfft, that's like, Living in a Civilization 101 for Lycans, Tyrrin's own views are a bit more complex. I described her as super Lawful for a reason :P
Tyrrin tried to keep her face blank - a trick she had learned from her mother - and simply nodded. "Thank you. I don't believe I have your name...?"

You know, any reasonable teenaged boy would not be complaining about having to hang out with girls like Vai and Nasima... just sayin' :P. (I realize Keme is not reasonable).
Vai looked once again at the necklace. It did give her a sense of comfort to be holding it, and felt ever so slightly compelled to put it on, a feeling which she didn't resist. The clasp is easy to work, and she puts the necklace on. "You know, you don't have to be so mean about it."

"What, did you expect me to be celebrating because I'm being forced to play the hero? Think again. I'm way too much of a coward to want that role, thanks so much. Why should I have to pretend like I think it's a great job? It's not."
Enre
After leaving the practice room Enre, hears how Ryleh was looking for him. He hurries to take Eir to a room telling Artōrius to follow. Once in at the room he tells Artōrius to watch over Eir while he goes to find Ryleh.
He walks out of the room and beings to search for Ryleh, finding her after some time he says "I was told that you have been looking for me."
Ryleh
"Ah. Yes. You have been a difficult person to locate. I will get straight to the point. I need to speak with you about a problem involving Destruction, or rather a seed of it, that is currently trying to use the girl Nasima as a doorway into the material plane. Obviously, that would be not good. You are familiar with Nasima?"
Ryleh
Ryleh nodded. "Yes, that is exactly right. I am trying to formulate a plan to remove that being from her soul, and in order to do that I have been consulting with all of the Champions I can find as well as several advanced practitioners of magic. I was hoping you might have some insight as well."
Enre
Enre shrugs "No idea, I do not really speak to my patron. Let me see if I can ask a question of Wrath, might be able to get more information for you."
Enre draws his sword from his baldric and holds it in front of his face focusing on calling Wrath so he can ask some questions.

Ehos takes Wyrd's proffered hand and stands, pulls out the pad and quickly scribbles: 'I have a map of the school in my room, that should show us to the forge. Besides, I should change my clothing.' With that, the pair are off, Ehos retrieves a change of clothing and his map of the school. They are able to follow the map and find the forge in the same part of the school as the open Magical Lab. 'Here we are my friend. Are you a blacksmith by trade?'

Hahaha oh boy.
"I don't think anyone would expected you to be a hero anyway." Vai muttered as she turned back to the mess. Hope certainly was annoying. "If you don't want to help: fine, leave."

"It's nice to meet you, Jaiye. Perhaps you won't need to fake interest for the teachers now." Tyrrin said with a smile. It was strange that the first real connection she had made at this school was a lycan. Fei could maybe be counted as well, but he had been overpolite in their interacts, which Tyrrin had concluded to mean that he was hiding his dislike for her. "I just arrived yesterday, I haven't even registered in classes yet... what are you taking?"

"Not my fault I got grappled by the tentacled thing from wherever. I'm not really the run into battle type. But don't try telling that to Hope. But, you know, if you don't want my help cleaning up this mess, I'm happy to leave. I'm just not allowed to go far."

"Well, when I can't find some excuse to get out of going to classes, I'm in PE (not the advanced one, dodging flying rocks is not my idea of a good time, History of Agartha - watch out for Professor Relkav. He's small, but mean. Also, unarmed combat, philosophy (I'm failing that one. I don't get most of what's going on.) and stealth. That last one is interesting anyways. Every class is like a giant game of hide and seek. You win if you don't get spotted."
Vai Sunwake
"I never said I didn't want your help." Vai said, exasperated. "I want this mess to be cleaned up as quickly as possible, as I still have to change and get ready for the talent show." Vai was already putting away her shopping to get it out of the way - and to use the bags for any garbage in the room.

It turns its gaze to Enre.
"What is your purpose here?" Wrath asked.
Keme Tokala
"Geez, you're as demanding as the princess. Is it a girl thing?" he asked testily as he continued casting Make Whole on the many broken things in the room.
Tyrrin Denulia
"Interesting... I doubt the school has much to teach me about the History of Agartha, it is a subject I've already studied intensively, however..." It sounded like alot of the classes here were combat-oriented. Almost as if this Cardcaster were training his own personal army of all the nastiest beasties and brutes he could find. "What do you think of the Headmaster, Jaiye?"
Vai Sunwake
Vai was growing increasingly frustrated. Keme seemed to delight in sarcasm and trying to hurt people's feelings, so Vai snapped at him, completely out-of-character for the otherwise shy girl. "Maybe it is. Maybe it's that time of the month. (It's not) Or maybe you just think is demanding of you. You seem to complain more than I demand, that's for sure." Vai didn't feel good about that. Now she had sunk down to his level. "I'm sorry, that was mean. Let's just clean this up?"

"I hadn't thought of it, to be honest. At least about an elementary school anyway. It does sounds like a good idea though. Some of the students who aren't little kids but aren't teenagers could be moved to it, and basic classes could get them ready for their graduation from elementary into the high school level."
"If someone else was watching them, I'd have more time to work with the other students too. I don't seem to help out much past enrollment. I don't have to warn you that they are a hand full though. Did you know they got the bubble machine from the garden and into the gym, where they managed to freeze or chill the bubbles?"
Oneiro Mance
"Khasser, take the rest of the eyes if you want, we need to keep going." Oniero says as he checks the direction they need to take and leads the way. This jungle was starting to feel stranger and stranger to him, but the others didn't seem bothered. They come across a river and kill a the gigantic mosquitoes that attack them before Oneiro calls for small break.
"I haven't seen dweomercats since the fight with them. I don't think I'm the only one that finds that slightly suspicious. Why attack us once and then leave us alone? It doesn't match up with the entry about the survivor."
Wyrd the Elemental
Honestly, I do not know much about myself. I didn't even know that I could understand the common tongue until Lady Ananda started speaking it to me. I don't remember who I was or what I was before the day after the world turned inside out. I woke up laying beside a cooling lava flow with no memory. But I remembered one thing: Avalon helps people, so I can here to see if they could help me. On the way here though, I passed a few villages and the sounds of the forge always called to me. Kinda made my hands itch.
Wyrd steps into the forge, and looks about. The tools seem somehow familiar, but in ways he cannot place.

"Oh, no! Was anyone hurt? What am I saying? Of course someone was hurt, or they wouldn't have been caught," she said shaking her head and trying not to laugh.
"Well, I wouldn't have thought of an elementary school either except that spending time watching my cousins and thinking about the future, I realized that these things go together. Actually, since I don't have much of a class schedule anymore, and I don't really have much of anything I need to do for what few classes I have left, I can probably spend my time helping out with the administrative tasks necessary to get something like that started. Assuming this is set up like the other labs...
Wyrd walks further into the forge and heads towards one of the empty anvils. He runs his fingers across the top of the anvil, producing a screech as iron rubs across steel. A small smile appears on his face as he taps the anvil with a finger. After a few moment looking around at the small forge near the anvil and the other tools neatly arrayed there, he turns back to Ehos. Seeing Ehos' distaste, he heads back out of the room.
Now that I know where it is, I can come back here at a later time. Let's see about dinner.

"Well, at least nobody can complain that being pregnant makes me unfit to do paperwork," she said joking. "Besides, I have experience with this sort of thing. You would be shocked how much paperwork a demon can generate. Not that she ever dealt with a page of it herself. Apparently paperwork is for devils. Anyways, I can get started on Monday. Though I might start on the plans tomorrow. You're going to need that wing to have a different set-up than this one. Elementary students have different requirements. They'll need more supervised living situations to start, and playrooms and some version of a lot of the same things that are here already, but made for smaller people. And then there's the problem of needing to design a curriculum...and they can't realy be allowed to specialize as much as the high school students since it's important for children to at least understand the basics of a lot of things...at least that's what Master Quo said. I think. According to the diary, he said it a lot, but not having ever actually met him, I'm just going to have to take Ephebe-prime's word for it."
