I think I'll be introducing a new character soon(actually new this time, instead of bringing an existing character into new prominence.

I'm not sure which direction I will take this, but I think it's interesting to try something on the other end of the power spectrum (probably gestalt, but something in the single digits)

The Leshy are a plant race that arise from various druidic rituals. They already exist in Pathfinder, but I'm refluffing them to be diminutive, to make them more unique. And naturally I'll introduce the history of the race and such too, even if it's only a minor race. He'll probably interact mostly indirectly with other characters, but plans always change once play begins, so I am not fixed on that.

It totally made sense in her head. But if you're referring to the last question she was trying to figure out if he was upset about screwing up because he feels bad for being a screwup or if he was upset about screwing up his relationship with her because he actually cares about her.

The mental translations I have to juggle while speakign for her are fun, and painful!

I realize, but -- we'd established in the earlier scenes that she just needs to 'hear', i.e. accept it.

Given the sudden appearance and what not, she reverted to her defensive state, and her memory in /some/ things isn't the best. I'd hoped to have demonstrated her state of mind at the sudden 'appearing demon', but .. that clearly didn't go over well enough!

Just playing with that. After all, it's only been like ten days for her in Avalon.. let alone /any/ telepathic training at all.

Second- simulated demon doesn't know it's simulated, and acts naturally. The sim wasn't set up for that, but reed was supremely unlucky.

There's nothing against the sim rooms being used in naughty ways, but there very definitely is for using it for sexual assault. That would have tripped an end program and a warning pretty fast.

edit: You also can't use it to simulate sexual contact with an actual student or teacher. That's a no-no. And creepy.

Or with another student. The "other students or teachers" bit is the part against the rules.
With made up things or a copy of yourself it's fine but other lodgers is against teh rulez.

Maybe not, but lyn has said nothing, and if reed's player sees it as too much, then she can let me know.

Just tried to simulate what a balor lord would do- but if the sims have things against it, settro made it so that wouldn't happen.

Though, it does put the person under the balor's power in the sim..

For anyone curious, the effect was

Soul Swallow (Su) As a standard action, the balor lord can inhale the soul of a living creature within 30 feet. The target must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 balor lord's racial HD + the balor lord's Charisma modifier) or die. The body of a humanoid creature killed in this manner immediately transforms into a demon under the balor lord's command (a babau, succubus, or shadow demon, according to the balor lord's whim). Settro programmed it poorly, and simply made it into something akin to baleful polymorph.

Jen, you can't just put a character into play. I need to approve the character and their backstory before it goes into the game to make sure no toes are getting stepped on and it fits in with the overall history of the setting.
