I can't argue with you anymore, you only paid for five minutes.

I'm in the same time zone as him. Usually I'm next door to him. Right now I'm a couple states upwards on a mission trip. Still the same time zone.

Also, are you using magic to hide them, tesadrian? Nothing can hide them from me, short of being on another plane.
What about a silence spell? :D

The scarf has been destroyed thanks to Anahita. (Geez, she's a troublemaker ain't she?) It has since been replaced, but the new item can have severe consequences if Ehos is not careful. I think we ruled that it doesn't really help Ehos stealth (At least, unless he turns invisible) - he can still be seen visually just fine. I was more thinking two oddities interacting. I agree with Icehawk that Ehos would register as a 'blank' zone to Roel.
Melody: I /love/ minutephysics. Great guy, awesome videos.

Then why does the non-truesight pic in your profile have long black hair? -.-

First of all wearing armor so your argument is null and void
And 2nd Actually :) they are stored in their own personal demiplane..... So..... Undetectable

Couldn't find that pic with white hair

I understand the want to use pictures instead of text descriptions... But they really really ought to get important details like hair colour right. Otherwise we end up with a situation like this. Not everyone can remember all of what people look like, especially not the two newer folks in Orthos and Jen: we have to work with what you gave us. Perhaps Treisdan's hair shifted colour because he lost his pacts, or something?

Renkai, Icehawk. FFS, take your argument to PM.
I am getting tired of reading "I shot you. No, I shot you. No, I dodged." arguments that drag on and on and on in the discussion thread. I mean, didn't we all get enough of this crap when we were kids?
While this is directed at Renkai and Icehawk at this particular moment, everyone, please, in the name of all that does not suck, take these kinds of arguments to PM when they form.
This has been said many, many times by Lynora, DB3, Fireclaw, and now me. And probably a few I have not mentioned.

Tybalt Baneko |

I don't think it's an argument, Mr.Lurch. They're just trying to hash things out so we can play our game and get things right.
also it kind of needs to be here because PMs can't go three ways. :)
I do understand not wanting to get Lyn upset, but this still needs to be decided and this is the easiest way. :)

FireclawDrake |

What me and icehawk did was sorting out stuff: we both gave concessions to reach a suitable answer.
But Renkai and icehawk both refuse to budge. At that point, it should go to PM. Honestly they should've discussed this before, when Roel was in the room with Renkai. That way they could have avoided assumptions.

Tybalt Baneko |

If you want you can move it to our discussion page. It gets it somewhere else, ne?

he assumed stuff, and is using his ability in a way it shouldn't work which makes it difficult to respond to... I laid on the thing so he couldn't see me and avoid the problem entirely...

Here is the rules
Some creatures possess blindsight, the extraordinary ability to use a non-visual sense (or a combination senses) to operate effectively without vision. Such senses may include sensitivity to vibrations, acute scent, keen hearing, or echolocation. This makes invisibility and concealment (even magical darkness) irrelevant to the creature (though it still can't see ethereal creatures). This ability operates out to a range specified in the creature description.
Blindsight never allows a creature to distinguish color or visual contrast. A creature cannot read with blindsight.
Blindsight does not subject a creature to gaze attacks (even though darkvision does).
Blinding attacks do not penalize creatures that use blindsight.
Deafening attacks thwart blindsight if it relies on hearing.
Blindsight works underwater but not in a vacuum.
Blindsight negates displacement and blur effects.
Argument is over. Anything else is handwaved. Problem soved. Now can we please stop?

Renkai Urmas |

Blindsense (Ex) Using nonvisual senses, such as acute smell or hearing, a creature with blindsense notices things it cannot see. The creature usually does not need to make Perception checks to pinpoint the location of a creature within range of its blindsense ability, provided that it has line of effect to that creature. Any opponent the creature cannot see still has total concealment against the creature with blindsense, and the creature still has the normal miss chance when attacking foes that have concealment. Visibility still affects the movement of a creature with blindsense. A creature with blindsense is still denied its Dexterity bonus to Armor Class against attacks from creatures it cannot see.

Blindsight
Is diffrent. You are using the wrong rule. Can we please, please move on?

Girls girls your both pretty. Can we stop with the back and forth? I'm about to sound like an old person in a minute but, que sera sera
When the Avalon campaign was started it was a place where we just had fun not a place to try and one up each other. I might not be around as much as was in the beginning, but damn. I've seen it since the beginning of the new school year. What the hell happened?!

100% this. This is a place for fun. People get far too competitive, and that is the main problem. There is no "winning" in this game. Hell, there's not even loot or XP. Just Story.
If we wanna talk about who has made the most boss character, I'll get Pun-Pun in here. Otherwise: stats and abilities are just a way to express the story in unambigious terms. That is why this is a rules light game: so that the stats and rules do NOT get in the way of telling a good story.
Failure is part of life, so too should it be part of the game. Honestly, I have more fun when my characters struggle: look at Ehos. He screwed up big time, and so many different little stories spawned from that. Same thing with Vare.
Further: the other players in this game are your co-authors in this story. They ought to be your friends, but if you can't be friendly, at the very least be civil, and if you have a disagreement, either settle it in a private forum, or ask someone to mediate. DB3, Lyn, Myself, Dalesman, Kryzbyn, and Misterlurch are all people who know the setting well.
