Well U came up with the idea that he would use Storm and Storm with pop a drone or two into the library, (Recon Drone as in Cam-Corder on wings) mean wile the library is all old tech, man hes looking to digital books on an Apple Classic for heavens sake. The library has Trillionths of not zillions of books, and Johnny has NO idea what magic is or what he should be looking for.
So johnny can make Knowledge skills rolls so this is how I want it to work.
Johnny "Herr what is this thing?"
Calls Storm, "Storm what is this thing?"
Storm "Hold on Ill see if I can find out" Looks in knowledge banks and then library, Then decides if it should tell Johnny."
Make rolls V knowledge DCs etc,
Some time later
Then calls back made = "No idea" or Fail = "Its called a Thingy..."
Johnny "Cool, what dos it do?"
Storm "Hold on Ill see if I can find out" repeat.
So basically it means Johnny can use is Knowledge skills on a subject he knows nothing about AKA Magic stuff but only with Both Storm and the Schools library and Time and rolls.

Johnny is 100% not sitting then taking in ALL knowledge in the library, Storm could give a few 1,000 years but hey you going to wait for that, no an neater is Storm, not when there is flying to be had.
Note on Storm, Storms IQ is god like high, BUT the LCU in its name Stands for.

And heck, all he'd have to be is five minutes late and he would have missed the drama with Raelle. She was out of there and into the infirmary pretty quick.

Thing is the CULTURE books have whats known there rest of SiFi "Wank Tech" that's is tech so powerful its silly, but that's the whole point of the books,
IF you had that level of tech and what you say is an Advanced cultivation WHAT limits would you place on yourself, when you feel you must also have Advanced ethics and Morals, every one around you would think you where bad and evil if you did not live up to such Social norms. Is seen as odd in the Culture to try and live forever, most go into storage and that's that, using tech to gain personal power over others is a real NO NO, whats more most Tech that can do that is self-aware and will REFUSE to help you, If Johnny asked Storm to harm someone storm will just say "What are you nuts, no I will not and I do not think I like you any more" Killing others, is seen as very bad, MIND RAPE, thats is looking into to doing any thing to another mind is seen as a Crime in THE CULTURE that has no laws.
Johnny's has CULTURE Ethics in his very hart and mind, you may think that's to good, but it means for all his perceived power, as a godling, hes limited by a very strong code of ethics, way way beyond any paladin or cleric, he has no god, just a vast CULTURE that expects him to act in away representative of that culture.
With Tech of the CULTURE yes they have uber High level tech, but other things out there are way beyond even then, See beings from higher Dimensions AKA gods here and the powers "magic" they grant mortals,
Thats where the cross over comes, Johnnys "gifts" come from God like AIs not "God like beings" but hes limited come from the fact Storm will stop him handing out that tech to just any one, all 4 drones now in use, ALL Storms not Johnnys are limited, any thing looking to use them for any other thing and they will Self wipe and slag, and above all just like Storm they are "limited" of little or no use other than basic things, like cooking, or recording relaying stuff.

Usually.... Catch him Mage handing a candle upside down to wax thefloor for the inattentive.... Don't use it on him if it damages/destroys magic items...he would hurt you....(mildly)
Nah, it doesn't destroy magic items; it just makes them more fun whenever they're activated. I'd prefer him to not get caught when making things fun, though, so may have to have a think on how to best go about doing that.

I have no magic items whatsoever. I never really thought of anyy special to Tybalt while making him. The only thing I could think of is an amulet of mighty fists with either icy burst or adamanite for dr purposes. It's a little late to add it now unless lyn OKs it maybe if you read this?

I was told there was an enchantment that has weapons act as adamanite for purposes of damage reduction.
A +4 emhancement bonus overcomes adamantine DR.

In answer to your query about Jen the cat, Tybalt, her player stopped posting. It happens. From time to time someone just wanders off. Sometimes they come back so I never permanently write out a character unless I'm asked to. But this game is quite fast-paced and that has caused a fair amount of turnover since it started.

Ace has zero idea about anything you did with Professor Ori. Tyrrin didn't tell him, possibly because she herself didn't know. Or she just chose not to.
Remember, anything I figure out is subject pretty much to Lyn, as Ori is her PC.
Maybe I'll find something useful that will allow Lang to better help the Kami, or maybe I'll find nothing. After all, if there's no actual information out there about this particular Kami(in books and such, btw), then I learn nothing, even if I get a 100 on my knowledge check.

In unrelated news, I have decided to change a character's age from 14 to 12, putting him or her into the elementary school when a storyline progresses enough from them to be brought to Avalon. Looks like we could use more elementary PCs anyway. :)
I do think it's unusual that, after thinking up this character, several that are similar enroll as well...
