Akiyoshi
Akiyoshi doesn't have that many spells, and since the Energy Resistance should do most of the work, I don't have much else to do to prepare. I'm ready when you are. He'll move right up to the wall and stand ready.
"Let me know the moment you are going to drop the wall so I can attack in the same instant."
The Tomb
Tihn Tremako
"Bebulec is a noble efreet, I believe. Though he is invisible, I can see that he has used his powers to enlarge himself. When the wall drops, I will cast a spell that may remove him from the conflict. Should it fail, I will follow up with something to reveal him. If all are ready...?"
Rounds 8 through 13, Tihn will let the clock run down. Round 14, he'll cast True Strike and indicate to the others it is about to go down.
Unless the others have more discussion, we should be ready to move on to round 15.
Akiyoshi
The instant the wall drops, Akiyoshi presses into his sword form, cutting deeply into the enemy elemental.

Probably 2 criticals out of that, 159 damage. Personal best, I think. 187 if all crit, but I doubt a 21 will cut it.

Round 15 - The Tomb Raiders
With a whisper, the wall vanishes, and the air is filled with the roaring sound of the dancing flames, the slamming heat and the smell of sulfur.
Akiyoshi presses into his sword form, cutting deeply into the enemy elemental. The elemental and him clash together, both ready. Akiyoshi’s onslaught tears the elemental to shreds.
Jiro continues with his barrage of arrows at the elemental that was not attack by Akiyoshi. Multiple arrows slam in the elemental, causing him to roar, annoyed.
Tihn casts Disintegrate on the efreeti. The ray flies through the opening left by the slain elemental and punches the efreeti in the chest.
DC 23
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Tihn is the only one who sees the flash of intense pain, succeeded by fear, on the face of Bebulec, as his whole posture collapses with pain.
Round 16 - Bebulec and the Elemental Elder
The last elemental roars and lashes at Akiyoshi.
1d20 + 23 ⇒ (6) + 23 = 292d8 + 8 ⇒ (4, 2) + 8 = 14
1d20 + 23 ⇒ (8) + 23 = 312d8 + 8 ⇒ (1, 1) + 8 = 10
The blows hit hard, but the magic that protects Akiyoshi stops most of their impact, and the burns that would ensue are simply kept at bay by another incantation. (-4 hp to Akiyohi)
Only Tihn can see Bebulec flying quietly toward him, landing behind Jiro.

Hero's Defiance is just a good safety measure spell. Should he be reduced below zero anytime in the next 14 hours, and he has a Lay on Hands left, he gets to use it automatically, without spending an action. It's pretty much there just in case, so that he doesn't go down in a fight.
Not that I was looking at your secret rolls, but if the monster only rolled 14 damage on a hit, it would be absorbed by Akiyoshi's present Resist Energy 30.
As Akiyoshi cannot yet see the enlarged devil, he presses his attack on the last of the Elementals, striving to finish it off quickly.

Step to D18 and activate staff for Glitterdust. Center on G-H 17-18. DC 21 will save vs. blindness.
I believe that will get the efreet, but not Tihn or Jiro. Also, I don’t think activating a staff provokes an AoO, if it does, can he activate defensively?

Round 16 - The Tomb Raiders
As Akiyoshi cannot yet see the enlarged devil, he presses his attack on the last of the Elementals, striving to finish it off quickly. His barrage is not as effective as he would have hoped, for the elemental dances around him and his blade’s damage is reduced by the outsider’s defenses.
”Jiro, behind you!”
Tihn turns, steps away and points with his staff and a glistening stream of light pours from the tip and exploding in the space between them.
DC 23

Round 17 - Bebulec and the Elemental Elder
The elemental dances and laughs as it presses on its assault.

1d20 + 23 ⇒ (16) + 23 = 392d8 + 8 ⇒ (5, 5) + 8 = 18

Bebulec swears as he reappears. He moves to the side and conjures a wall of fire between it and Jiro.
2d4 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2
The flames roar and burn slightly Jiro, blocking his view. (-2 hp to Jiro)
Bebulec turns to Tihn, grinning: ”Now we can talk...”

Jiro moves over to the samurai and firmly grips him on the shoulder.
"Hold on!", he says in a calm voice.
He centers his Chi and visualizes the space just behind the fiery creature attacking Tihn, and suddenly they are there!
Used 2 ki points and triggered 'abundant step' to teleport behind the efreet, but far enough away so we are not burned by the wall of fire.
Akiyoshi
As soon as the last elemental is defeated, Akiyoshi turns and dashes to the aid of his friend. He runs straight through the wall of flames, blade held out in front should he emerge near the efreet.
Akiyoshi
Does he have a special ability that allows him to take someone along, as Abundant Step usually does not?
At 12th level or higher, a monk can slip magically between spaces, as if using the spell dimension door. Using this ability is a move action that consumes 2 points from his ki pool. His caster level for this effect is equal to his monk level. He cannot take other creatures with him when he uses this ability.

Round 17 - The Tomb Raiders
"A word, eh? How about, 'Begone!'" claims Tihn as projectiles fly from his fingers and slams into Bebulec.
On the other side of the wall, Akiyoshi grows in frustration as the fire elemental continues to fight, particularly when the giant devil is revealed, and subsequently hidden by the wall of flames. He lashes out with another series of sword-strokes, sure he will destroy the elemental this time, and be able to charge to Tihn's aid in a mere moment's time.
The elemental is finally cut down, its flames dissolving quickly.
He centers his Chi and visualizes the space just behind the fiery creature attacking Tihn, and suddenly he is there!
Round 17 - Bebulec
Bebulec grunts as he feels the missiles’ impacts. He shifts his weight, pivots and slams his fists at the newly arrived monk, preferring not to waste time on illusions: ”I have been here so many years! Imprisoned!!! You’ll PAY for it!”

Confirm: 1d20 + 18 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 18 - 4 = 172d6 + 7 + 8 ⇒ (1, 2) + 7 + 8 = 18
The zen archer gets pounded by the efreet’s mighty fists as they both connect and catch him off guard. (-47 hp to Jiro)

The Tomb
Akiyoshi bursts through the curtain of fire, powerful spells preventing the flames from burning his skin, only in time to see Tihn and Jiro cut Bebulec down with projectiles.
Bebulec falls on his knees, riddled with holes, his face a mask of perplexity: "Freedom... It sounds so sweet, but what is its cos-..." and he crumples to the floor, fiery ichor oozing out.
The roar of flames drops quickly, leaving a heavy silence.
To your right, the oven and furnace lie open, but their fire quenched. To your left, is a similarly domed place, looking like a shrine. Perhaps once elegant, this place of reverence has been foully and thoroughly defiled: statues lie broken on the floor, and the mosaic symbol of Aroden under the great dome is smeared with all manner of filth. The walls, bearing once-beautiful frescoes of deeds of the god, are soiled with ordure. Pools of red-tinged water stand to the north and south, while a scorched curtain that once sheltered the altar to the west hangs in tatters.
Tihn Tremako
As the chambers fall into silence, Tihn waits, alert for any tricks the efreet may still be playing. After several long moments, he heaves a sigh of relief and leans on his staff.
"Well done, my friends. We should move on quickly while some of our arcane and divine protections are in place. A cursory check of the room for any clues that may help us, and then Akiyoshi resumes the lead?"
Tihn will check over the remains of the frescoes for anything helpful. He'll look over the whole area with his arcane sight for anything of mystical note.

On Bebulec's body, you find an iron key that radiates faint transmutation. This key is engraved with a cross-eyed medusa face.
Ukyou Zashiki-warashi of Kasai
Ukyou reappears from behind the rest of the group, "Uh oh. Looks like I chose a bad time to scout the outside. Is everyone all right?" Once everyone has filled Ukyou in on the details he suggests, "Perhaps someone took Aroden's death personally. You said something about a key? Where there's a key, there must be a lock." He casts detect magic to see if there is anything further to be discerned aside from its aura. Spellcraft 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (7) + 24 = 31

Did Bebulec remain in this realm when he died, or did his body return to his own realm, as would typically happen for an outsider?

You make your way around the place, but can't find anything new of note..
The Tomb
Tihn takes a closer look at the altar area. He'll use a detect magic on the area, and see if he can figure out who or what did the damage. Are there burns consistent with the elementals having done it?
The damage was not done by the elementals. It looks like good old smashing with a hammer or a mace. The damage seems very old.

Did Bebulec remain in this realm when he died, or did his body return to his own realm, as would typically happen for an outsider?
Akiyoshi notices the body of Bebulec remaining. Upon closer examination, it seems to decay quite fast though.

"There does not seem to be anything else to discover in this building; let's move on while our spell support is still in effect. Shall we move over to the next building? I think we should start with the larger buildings and then move on to the smaller individual crypts. Those three larger buildings we saw near the north wall look like a good option."
