I think that there has been enough time for Brick to respond for this turn. Let's move on in order

ROUND 3
The companions are able to defeat another one of the undead, leaving only one skeleton left, who continues the assault on the ifrit

Sithiel assumed undead = evil, as did I. Oh well!
The celestial eagle takes another bite before taking a 5-foot "fly" away from the skeleton to allow others to take a swing.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 71d4 ⇒ 2
Sithiel casts guidance on Brik.

Terevalis Unctio of House Mysti |

Some undead are evil, the intelligent ones are. The mindless ones not so much, if IIRC.
I think that the eagle has to make a fly check to do that

Shalagor brings his mighty falchion of his head and lets out a roar of challenge bringing it down at the last "living" skeleton.
Falchion : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Enrique moves forward, allowing the skeleton to take a swing at him, but ending in a more tactically sound position.
"Let's bring this thing down once and for all! Brik, catch him on the back swing!"
Rapier: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19, Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

I can usually post on weekends, but this past one wasn't one of them as I was in London celebrating my 30th haha. Damn guys, I've hopped out of my twenties. I was also trying to roll in order of initiative. Round 1 I moved back, hoping for a better position, round 2 I stepped up and crumbled a skeleton and now I'm going to go for this skelly rotter!
Brik grins as Enrique speaks.
Hey Bones, don't look at him, look at this!
Lifting up his Shield again, Brik side swiped the Skeleton right across the face.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Terevalis Unctio of House Mysti |

It looks like the skeleton survives this round as the party's attempts to take it down involved only one hit from the grippli's rapier which is not as effective as it should be against a living foe.

ranged touch-into melee: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 3 - 4 = 18

I'll just mention you said "froggy even, half orc odd" then proceeded to roll odd and attack me.
Realizing that this time his exotic fighting technique won't help bring down the opponent, Sir Enrique decides to distract the skeleton instead.
"That's right, you miserable pile of bones! Fight me!"
Aid Another (5 + Spirit Bonus + Flanking): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Granting Brik a +2 bonus to attack. Finish him, please!

Shalagor puts his sword back into its strap on his back and approaches the woman. "You fought like a wolverine," Shalagor says dipping his head in his acknowledgment of the bards skills in battle "not always wise, but we do love seeing another with a zest for battle" gesturing to Oso who, now that the undead are dead comes tromping up to check on Shalagor. "Let me patch up those wounds for you."
he pulls out the wand and taps Azora with it and her wounds begin to close.
CLW 3rd: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Where there originally 8 charges? I know I've used 2 on Brik in the Pit and now 1 on azora. Any1 else need healing, I only took 3 so I'll wait.

With her wounds rapidly closed, the ifrit offers,"My thanks. It was a fine battle, to be sure. My weapon was nearly useless against this mockery of life. Many of my thrusts went through the rib cage. Surely a living warrior would have fallen to my strikes, though I take little solace in that fact."

Enrique sheathes his rapier and sighs, giving an apologetic smile to Brik.
"Unlike what the malevolent Sir Enrique might make you think, teamwork is key to securing a successful Confirmation. That is what makes us Pathfinders. Hopefully, the next foes we face aren't as resistant to our blades as these undead."
An unsettling feeling suddenly starts creeping up the froggy man's throat: teamwork is the best solution, and Janira is currently fending off a minotaur all by herself. Trying to ignore this dreadful image in his mind, Enrique walks over to what seems like the next part of the tunnel.
"Let's get this over with quickly, friends."

![]() |

Krstani agrees with Enrique. "Let's get through this cave so we can go check on Janira."

Searching you find the body of a dhapmir in heavy robes lying in the corner, it looks like he was clubbed to death, perhaps by powerful fists.
On him you find a ring and a longsword.

![]() |

Noticing the body Shalagor walks over to inspect it and is taken a back when he notices that it is that of a dhampir. "ptuu" he spits "another vile race, full of evil and hate. " he pauses his rant when he notices the ring on his finger and a fine looking sword.
"Looks like it wasn't a poor creature. Halfling you know magic. are these?" he holds out the man's possessions for the halfling to inspect.

"Don't hold it against yourself, my fiery friend. None of us can possibly do everything; that is why we work as a team. You will dish out your dancing strikes while others will tend to the wounded or scout ahead."
Enrique smiles and croaks quietly, leaning against the cold cavern wall as he awaits Azora's identification of the magical items.

![]() |

Brik sheathed his Longsword and slung his shield over his shoulder, raising both hands into the air with a shrug as he cracked a hearty grin at Enrique.
We prevailed didn't we? Every battle we walk away from is a victory. Don't be so hard on yourself. You did well.

![]() |

I think Sithiel might have it, in any case I'm putting on the ring, who wants the sword? Just so we can move on.
Shalago looks at the two items and tries on the ring. He couldn't fit it of the knuckle of his pointer finger so he resorted to wearing on his little finger. He flexed his had and felt the magic emanating from it but failed to know what it really did.
"you're decent with a sword, you want it?"he asked Brik holding the longsword out to the man.

Same Azore, haha. Brik's a multi-classed Fighter/Cleric. Next level is Cleric time.
Sure said Brik, gently taking the sword from Shalagor, where he then swished it through the air several times.
Let's see if it performs any better than my current sword. I'm not gonna get too excited, though. The Society will likely want this and anything else we find down here. Still, I think that's it for now. Let's head deeper in.
Keeping his new sword drawn, Brik moved up ahead of the party, bringing his shield up once more as he made his way further into the tunnels.

![]() |

Enrique watches the fighter swing his sword around, chuckling (or rather, croak in what you assume is a chuckle) to himself.
"Well, my friend, the society will want this for sure, but it won't just take it. We go on a mission, find artefacts and the society pays us for their retrieval. This sword will be worth some gold one we finish our Confirmation. Besides", the grippli adds matter-of-factly, "you can purchase the sword back from the society if you need to. A fine system, in my humble opinion."
Enrique continues following Brik down the tunnels, staying wary for any possible threat.

No spellcraft here either.
Krstani nods appreciatively at the frog's information. "By all means put it on then!"
She moves on with the others, keeping her senses peeled.

The passage leading from the gillmen’s holy site varies
from 3 to 6 feet wide and is coated with the omnipresent
bioluminescent fungi. Though the PCs encounter
several points where the tunnel branches off in different
directions, all of those paths either narrow beyond the
abilities of the PCs to traverse, lead back to this main
trail, or are blocked by a cave-ins. Trekking through the
twisting passages to this large cavern takes approximately
20 minutes by foot for creatures with a 30-foot move
speed.
The persistent glow of the bluish fungi dimly lights the way
deeper below the Kortos Mounts. The tunnels broaden to reveal
a shallow river that bisects an immense tunnel stretching to
the north and south. To the east a small passage exits the
chamber at a steep incline.
Trying to get a pdf of the map. Been trying for over an hour and nothing. I am going to try tomorrow at work

Crap! I lost the post that I had written so I am going to post everything again in short posts so that I don't lose everything again
The river through this part of the cavern ranges from 10 to 15 feet wide but is only 1 foot deep, and it flows languidly at an almost imperceptibly slow speed
