Shalagor sits quietly watching the man make a mockery of himself. "Fantastic, another out of control human. I had such high hopes when I first walked in and there were none of them fouling up the group. And now we've to deal with this one." Shalagor thinks to himself.
"Someone take care of that mess I don't need him slowing us down," the half orc grumbles referring man not the contents of his stomach.

The Halfling says
“Now, before we head out, if there aren’t any more questions,
we should take a moment to go through your gear and make
sure nothing important gets left out.”
If you need any other types of things now would be a good time to get them

The halfling responds to the summoner's question
“Centaurscontrol the lowlands and surrounding wilderness of the
Kortos Mounts. The areas farther up the Mounts are
controlled by minotaurs, and the icy peaks are home to
tribes of harpies. They’re always vying for territory, but
with any luck, we should be able to avoid them and reach
the caves without conflict.”
“There’s always the chance we may run into bandits
along the way, and there are dozens of kinds of predators
in that forest. That’s why we should always be as prepared as possible.

Taking in what little he could considering his state, all Brik decided he needed to know was Bandits, monsters and a cave.
Able to remain on his feet, he announced to all that he's R'dy t' go!, then made way for the door without too much of a balance issue.

"Is there anything you think we would need Janira? Oso and I just got here and what I carry is all I have."
Taking a closer look at Shalagor you can see that he is in fact very sparsely geared. Other than is armor and sword the only other thing he has is a small belt pouch and a water skin.

"Ah, the open air. Back on the road again eh Oso," Shalagor says to his bear companion as he draws his whetstone across the blade of his falchion. "How much further to where you spotted the cave?" He calls back to Janira.
Checking the edge of his blade and finding it to be ready for battle, Shalagor stores the stone in his belt pouch and swings the sword absentmindedly at the dirt.

The ifrit walks up to Bing Wu. She holds out her hand, palm up, slowly closing until she stands next to the magnificent beast. "You are a beautiful one. I hope that you are here of your own accord." She leans in a little closer and whispers, "Let me know if you need help escaping, or barring that, if she is worthy of you."

After travelling for a good while, Brik was mostly sober. The air did him a lot of good, regardless of how much alcohol was still in his system.
Why ruin the surprise? he asked, looking to Shalagor.
Taking in a deep breath, he looked to the sky, simply stating When we're there, we're there., though his voice was calm, not aggressive or full on. It was but a statement. He seemed relaxed.

Bing Wu speaks to Azora: "I first saw Sithiel through strange window. She was in trouble. I leapt through and helped. We bonded, and I found myself newly awakened. She taught me much; I learned her languages. I like this world, except there is too much water. Do you speak flame tongue? Would you teach us?" Sithiel and Bing Wu had begun learning Ignan, but they know only a few words and basic syntax so far. They'd love to use this trip to learn the language from Azora.
Sithiel regards the sobering Brik in a new light. Such a carefree spirit, she thinks. Not unlike me.

The grippli hops alongside his party members, singing sad-sounding songs in his mother tongue. Enrique seems to be in unison with the wilderness, his eyes wandering around from tree to cloud in search for an unknown secret. Once in a while, the medium throws the others a friendly look, replying to their conversation with a delighted grin while continuing to sing longing songs for his lost Grippli home.

Azora, looking forward to a fight, draws her blade and give a wicked grin to Sithiel. You want to learn our tongue Summoner?" she asks. Without waiting for a reply, the ifrit sprints off towards the west.
Over her shoulder she shouts to Sithiel, "یہاں آپ کا پہلا سبق ہے. اپنے دشمن کے دل جھلسانا!"

I go quite late in the initiative, but when I go, I attack from where I've placed myself on the map, making sure to stay out of its reach in my movement as I close in on it.

I slightly adjusted the positions of Shalagor and Oso to be in their squares but before my turn I was wondering if there is difficult terrain between Shalagor and the square above Azora, ie. could he charge if I wanted to?

There does not appear to be so

Sithiel smiles at Azora's back as she urges Bing Wu forward.
Sithiel drops her crossbow as a free action and draws her longspear as a move action. Bing Wu charges forth, and Sithiel uses her standard to attack.

Azora, your exclamation mark seems to be in the wrong side of the text. Arabic and similar languages are read from right to left.
Enrique looks at the creatures as they descend hungrily upon the Pathfinders. He sighs and lets go of his grasp upon nature, drawing his rapier and smiling nonchalantly.
"Ladies, Gentlemen, visitors from another plane! Prepare to witness the exquisite fighting techniques of Sir Enrique the Sixth!"
Enrique is currently under the effects of the Champion spirit. He held his seance before arriving at the Pig's Paunch in order to not frighten his fellow Pathfinders.
The grippli rolls around Krstani and Janira, moving swiftly to the hippogirff's flank and stabbing it with a flourish. He croaks menacingly as his rapier pierces the creature's skin, soaking the steel blade with blood.

Looking to Shalagor, Brik states; For the record, I'm not exactly drunk anymore, but I sure could do with a drink again.
He then closes his eyes for a few moments and smiles.
I can handle myself alright, but for now I'll see this adventure through. There's always time to celebrate and drinking, dare I say it, can come later.
Walking ahead of the party a few feet, Brik turns to face them all, tapping his longsword on his plate covered shoulder.
Let's push on. We've got a lot to do and I guess we should be trying to impress our Pathfinder employers.

Janira, seeing that the druid, sorcerer and half-orc have taken damage will cast a cure light wounds spell on each of them.

Enrique carefully wipes the blood off his blade, looking at the others shamefully.
"There is much that can be said against Sir Enrique, the evil selfish spirit that he is; but you cannot argue against his competence on the battlefield. At times of danger, I have to allow him to gain influence over my actions, for the good of all of us. I understand if any of you objects."
Without another word, he hops to Janira's side, ready to continue the journey.

Terevalis Unctio of House Mysti |

The dense forest opens to a wide clearing at the base of a sheer cliff. Thick vines cover the surface of the cliff stretching 30 feet overhead.
"Here! The cave entrance is behind those vines," Janira says with a broad smile as she walks to the cliff’s face.
She pulls back several layers of vegetation to reveal a narrow crack in the cliff’s surface.
"This is where I saw the gillman enter."
As she motions toward the aperture, the surrounding woods come alive with the sound of small animals fleeing some unseen danger and a large creature crashing through the undergrowth.
The halfling worriedly remarks, "Quick, take cover before whatever it is spots us!"
As if she’d summoned the creature with her words, a massive horned monstrosity emerges from the trees. Standing eight feet tall on a pair of cloven hooves and wielding a tremendous axe, the bull-headed creature roars with unbridled anger when it spots the group.
Wisely assessing that a minotaur is beyond her charges’ capabilities, Janira screams, "A minotaur! There’s little chance we can stand against it.
Take this bag," she continues, pulling off her backpack, b] "and head deeper into the caves. Finish your mission. I’ll lead it away from the caves, lose it in the forest, and join you as soon as I can. Now go! GO!" [/b]
What to do
Follow Janira's directions, and head into the cave <--- <_< ..or.. >_> ---> Fight the minotaur!
She heaves her backpack into the cave, casts a spell, and darts off toward the minotaur before turning to lure it away.

![]() |

Do as she says!
Taken back by the situation and the overwhelming presence of a Minotaur - A beast he'd only heard of in legend - Brik holds out his Heavy Steel Shield in an attempt to use himself as a Shield for the rest of the party (minus Janira) to enter the Cave behind him.
I don't plan on staying out here, so head into the cave and quick!
Smiling at Sithiel, he gently pushes her in behind him, only following once the rest of the party enter the cave mouth, helplessly watching on as the thrashing Minotaur pursues their guide with sheer rage and brute strength.
Make it, Janira. I'll do my best to protect these guys. Just make it back safe...

![]() |

Sithiel is overwhelmed, and grateful for Brik's decisive action and big shield.
Spellcraft to know what spell Janira's using to fight a minotaur!
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Wow! It must be powerful, because I can't identify it! *rolls eyes*

![]() |

The grippli jumps in behind Brik's shield without hesitation, throwing a worried glance at the beast.
"Sir Enrique is limited by my physical capabilities; we cannot fight this thing. Listen to Janira, and enter the cave!"

Shalagor has a flashback to fleeing the fight pits and Lawe holding off the orcs. It takes all of his power to not turn and fight.
"Into the cave Oso," Shalagor says following the bear in past the vines.
