I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...
The badger lets go of the large diamond and falls to the ground. The color images on the walls stop and the walls return to white.
The badger reaches up from his laying down position towards the diamond, still hovering 5' above the floor. "I feel empty." He says.
"What does the diamond do? Why are you here? What is your name? Where are you from?"
The badger says, "I can not remember..."
You realize he fell asleep. As you try to wake him, you realize he is dead.
Give him a quick S’allumer blessing, then remove the armor.
"One piece down. The rest of the armor is probably scattered in different locations."
Go through his belongings.
There is nothing of interest or value. Besides the armor and diamond.
"I do not think we should take the diamond. I think we should leave it here."
As you go down the tunnel, there is another tunnel leading away. Continuing down your tunnel, you come to stairs going down. Two of the sparkly birds are fluttering around on the ground, they leave when you approach.
I assume you want to continue on this level first.
You hear fighting. Looking around the corner, you see goat people fighting rat people. When you arrive, the goats go into a room behind them. The rats run down another tunnel.
Do you go into the room where the goats went?
Do you go down the tunnel where the rats went?
Do you back track to the first tunnel or stairs (down)?
As you knock on the door, a slit opens up in the door and a goat person peers at you. "What do you want?"
"Can we come in? The rat people are coming back and they want to kill us."
"I suppose..."
He then opens the door. You see a table with four goat people sitting around it. Two goat people standing. There are maps of the surrounding area, including Ferraburg. The door closes.
"What are you guys doing?"
"We're planing how to over throw Morlean. He's a evil wizard, who uses people. He's destroying Ferraburg."
"We can help. We know who he is, but he does not know us too well."
"You will need to kill him in his house. Once you are done, torch his house."
"Yea, we will get on that as soon as possible. I think the rat people are gone, I think we should leave."
The goat person at the door opens the view slit and looks out. "I do not see anyone out there."
As you leave and move down a new tunnel, you run across a male bear person. The bear is wearing a chest plate and a (roman style) skirt. He is carrying a broadsword and a backpack. He has bare feet.
LOL bare feet
"I'm Graawl, I'm looking for the rats that attacked my group. Have you seen any rats?"
"They went that way. Point. I am Karana and this is Valad. We are looking for a suit of silver platemail. Do you want to join us? You can fight the rats and we will collect the armor pieces and we all can share in any other treasure."
Cadwr is a male lynx.
Karana is a female white furred (artic) fox.
Valad is a male bat. When he speaks to you, you smell blood. When you are around him, you get an eerie feeling.
Everyone moves down the tunnel and sees a ice cavern with an ice covered table. There are 2 rat people at the table torturing a rainbow bird, they call the bird "Fantasie" in their mocking. There is another rat person, standing, holding a hook with a large slug on it.
I attack the rat that is standing.
Greatsword: 1d10 ⇒ 81d6 ⇒ 21d6 ⇒ 5 +3 damage.
And the rat person goes down. The other two take off running. Does anyone else stop them?
knife: 1d8 ⇒ 31d4 ⇒ 2
1d8 ⇒ 71d6 ⇒ 5
pistol: 1d8 ⇒ 51d4 ⇒ 3
1d8 ⇒ 11d8 ⇒ 2
pistol: 1d8 ⇒ 81d4 ⇒ 3
1d8 ⇒ 51d8 ⇒ 7
To Karana:
You hit with your knife and did damage; but, the rat person is still standing.
To Valad:
You hit and did damage with both of your pistols. He falls to the ground.
To Karana:
You take one point of damage.
The message boards will not take Karana's dice rolls.
The rat person falls to the ground.
Look around for the other rats. Seeing them on the ground, look at the slug and bird.
I will look at the bird as Graawl looks at the slug.
I will look around the room.
To Graawl: The slug is on a hook, do you take the hook out of the slug? Through the slug's skin you can see that the slug's brain is made of gold.
Slug to Graawl: "Thank you good sir for freeing me."
To Karana: The rainbow bird, or as the rats called - fantasie, is tie to a piece of string around its legs and the other end to the table.
To Valad: You find nothing of value or interest.
I cut the string and let the rainbow bird go.
"There you go, now you are free."
The bird sings a sweet melody as it flies out the door and down the hall.
As you move down the tunnel, the tunnel opens up into a cavern with the tunnel continuing on the other side.
In the middle of the cavern, there is an ice pillar that goes from floor to the ceiling. Around the pillar is a rat person talking to five other rat people who are kneeling on the floor.
Yes pull the hook out. I don't know what to do with the slug. For now I'll put the slug on my armored shoulder.
I'll let the rats live since these rats are not hurting anyone. Walk pass them and look real hard at the pillar.
As you move through the cavern...
Walk towards the tunnel keeping an eye on the rats. I'll do nothing with the pillar.
We can come back later and pick up the necklace.
There is a door in the tunnel. I assume that Karana checks the door, as she has so far. When you open the door, there is a large (1'-8" taller than Karana and Valad, but the same height as Graawl) black panther person speaking to 3 goat people.
Everyone turns to see who has entered. The black panther speaks to you in an unknown language and waves his hands.
What does everyone do?
He's most likely a spellcaster. Attack him first, unless the goats get in the way.
1d10 ⇒ 61d6 ⇒ 51d6 ⇒ 6 +3 damage.
The goat people will step between you and the black panther.
Graawl strikes dead one of the goat people.
From the dimly lit back wall, 3 rat people will sit up and slide off of tables that they were lying on. The 2 remaining goat people will step behind the death-smelling rat people.
The black panther moves part of the wall and exposes a tunnel. He will go down the tunnel.
Attack the walking dead rats.
1d8 ⇒ 61d4 ⇒ 3
1d8 ⇒ 51d6 ⇒ 5
Shoot the necromancer before he leaves.
1d8 ⇒ 21d4 ⇒ 1 1d8 ⇒ 71d4 ⇒ 3
1d8 ⇒ 61d8 ⇒ 1 1d8 ⇒ 21d8 ⇒ 5
To Karana:
You hit and do damage.
To Valad:
You hit and do damage.
