I'm looking at either a skinwalker or tiefling alchemist, going Chance Encounter into trickster.

Ok. Please post him.

Imperius wouldn't that make you a half-celestial?

Sovereign Court

Assimar but just that he made his fluff to be living with dad in the celestial realms instead of the prime material plane.

An aasimar has angelic blood somewhere in the line. A half-celestial, half-fiend, half-fey is a 1st generation.

Sovereign Court

Diluted blood I suppose.

I'll try and work a new path in there, last time I checked though, neither one of the remaining two were good for an urban barb... I can try and make it work though.

You could also do another character.

Diluted blood is what an aasimar or tiefling or the half elementals have. If you are a 1st generation you are a half what ever.

What else is needed? I'll just run whatever we need.

Sovereign Court

hmm when does this close then? Saturday Sunday?

I am leaning more towards Saturday.

Rikael I don't think anyone has posted the divine path, or the trickster. Some might have shown interest but nada has been posted.

I can run a paladin in the divine path then. I'll make the character sheet and all later this afternoon

Until now, that is! This is the character that I submitted for other WotR campaign thread that recently closed recruitment. I was selected as an alternate for that campaign, but I'd like to apply for this one all the same. The profile should be complete save for having ten more gold available to use and increasing the point buy I used from 20 to 25.

Talinthal, what published materials are available for us to use? The primary reason I chose the Poverty-Stricken trait was to gain Survival as a class skill, but given that there are other traits that will give me that now, particularly from the Faiths of Balance and Faiths of Purity supplements, I may want to re-write that part of his background. Of course, I may not do that either, since the way I wrote him up has kinda grown on me; just asking so I know what options are open to me.

GM Eyes Only:
Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I think I should tell you that I created this character specifically because of my interest in helping the "open secret" NPC reformed succubus Arushalae become a truly "good" character, up to and including the formation of a romantic bond between them if you don't mind having that kinda thing in the campaign. It seemed like an interesting twist to me to have it so that the person whose life she saved as a youngster would grow up to become the person who helps her in her struggle to throw off the chains of her heritage. I don't know if you consider that meta-gaming or not, but I figured it'd be good to go ahead and let you know that was the direction I wanted to move Aladir in.

Any feedback you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Aladir, it seems we meet again...

I'm thinking a demon-spawn (pit born) tiefling paladin of ragathiel with the divine mythic path.

Anything Pathfinder and that makes sense. Thanks for the submission and the info. The Faiths books are acceptable.

That sounds fine, Rikael, just submit him.

Elven cavalier that didn't make another WotR game. Just need to make a few adjustments to stats and backstory. Will get it completed tonight at work and be ready by Saturday morning.

Looks like we all came to this one after we got selected as alternates for the other...

Ok, here is my (rikaels) character submission, for now just to show I'm working on it. I'll get the stats and back story done when I get off work, but here is the profile it's going on.

Looks like! I had wanted to submit for this one anyway, but I didn't wanna take two spots in the same AP and was worried it was going to be closed before the selections were publicized on the other. Glad that wasn't the case!

Ok I was just trying to write in the Heavenborn racial trait. Easy fix, I'll just have the angel be my grandfather and father a half celestial, with a human grandmother and mother, 1st generation aasimar.

Aasimar sorcerer headed for archmage mystic path and dragon disciple prestige class in no particular order.

Let me know if the chaotic idler waiting to be called to the fight fits your concept. Sort of a chaotic spoiled boy avoiding his divine heritage and golden dragon blood to party it up on earth.

Ok DM.

Everything done but my two regular traits and my backstory, which I'll take care of tonight.

Ok.

Two traits, plus the campaign trait, right?

Background done. Let me know if you want anything else in there so I can edit it tonight.

No, two traits. One had to be a Campaign Trait.

Background looks fine. I like Ragathiel better than any of the other good gods, except for Saurenrae.

Ok, that's easily fixed. The alternate racial traits are ok, or no?

I feel Ragathiel allows more Lawful Good Roleplay than Lawful Stupid.

EDIT: Removed inspired, filled in last couple of spots, and am ready to go. Can't wait to start.

Having lived through the last four crusades, Thanguron lost both his parents to the evil that has plagued the Worldwound. His mother died at the hands of a nalfeshnee during the third crusade, and his father was killed by a marilith during the fourth. His body was severed into several pieces and was almost impossible to identify him on the battle field. His parents forbid him to fight in the crusades because they wanted him to help heal the wounded and study Sarenrae’s teachings to bring favor to the people fighting the evil rising out from the abyss. After his father’s death Thanguron made a commitment to himself, a commitment that he would travel south to the capital city of Nerosyan and train to fight against the demons and other foul creatures plaguing the land. He found his calling when he first entered the city gates, as a small group of men and women of various races riding in unison on graceful steeds. They were dressed in shiny armor which reflected the sun almost blinding him. They each had a different type of weapon slung over their shoulder or strapped to their horses. He bowed respectfully and asked to speak to them. Seeing that a stranger showed them respect, they obliged the young elf. Thanguron explained that he had traveled a long way to seek out professional training in the art of combat and of the troubles being faced in the north. The band of cavalier riders, the “Order of the Shield” looked at him with utmost respect and smiled. One of the riders, a human female with striking blue eyes and Light brown hair introduced herself as Miria Breganmoor. Our order is always on the lookout for fresh recruits. You appear to be as noble a man as any I have encountered in my 24 years of life. Come with us Thanguron, we will take you to see the Order of the Shield master recruiter, Sir Wallen.
For eighteen months Thanguron trained with many types of weapons both simple and martial. He favored the longsword due to its balance and slender blade. For ranged weapons short and longbows were a choice. He trained on different terrain to learn balance and finding good footing. His last achievement he needed to graduate from the academy was to master combat atop horses. This was found to be the hardest challenge he would face in the many months he spent training, but he did succeed with patience and determination. Thanguron graduated with honors, and he knew his parents would have been proud.
So with maybe not the shiny armor he saw on the small group he first saw entering Nerosyan, he set out on his steed Breganmoor. The name of the beautiful young woman who saw potential in a stranger and gave him a chance to succeed at a lifelong dream.
Thanguron entered his home city of Kenabres, seeing that it has grown more in size and population. He made his way to the temple dedicated to Sarenrae and entered its doors seeking brother Ryman Quint. With a hardy handshake and a warm welcome back hug they sat down and spoke of the happenings in the past nineteen months. After their lengthy conversation Thanguron leaves the temple and ventures in to the city he calls home.

When time today is this closing? I like this character a lot more than I thought I would

Sometime this evening. I am in MTS.

Ok, no problem. I'm in Eastern Standard Time.

Other than Vorshek being a demon spawn tiefling it looks right to me

And Beltin is a dragon blooded sorcerer headed for archmage.

Fixed the level. Must not have save it when I changed it.

Yeah I'm the Aasimar Paladin, but I could be a sorcerer if thats what the party needs :D

Looks good to me. Let's do this!

I have the pdf of the modules, does anyone know if there is a way to transport the maps into this forum?

This is my first pbp, so I have no idea. I'm on my iPhone most of the time

The way I've done it in the games I have run is to use some form of screen capture software (there is such built into Windows or Mac OS) and then paste it into a google document (drawing). Then once that is set up you set the document for sharing if the user has the link, and allow everyone to edit it. Then people can stick their icons on the map. This is pretty much the SOP for these forums. Other people have used roll20.net, but I think that's more cumbersome than it needs to be.

You will need a google account, and to install some software to use google docs of course.

Let me see if I can copy and paste?
