Sabert saunters into the room, normally keep eyes just barely roving over the room. He takes his companions words to heart though, and draws his rapier just in case. "Well, whatever it is, it can't be worse than that damn tiger thing we fought in the jungle.. I hope.." He steps to the side of the door, waiting for the eyes, ears, and spells of his companions to declare the room safe or to identify their enemy.

Fethril spies magic in the room, an illusion aura covering the bas relief. He identifies a silent image covering it, but it looks as though it is currently active...
Aura and James head across the room to the door when a pulse comes off of the hag. Everyone make a DC 13 Will save vs an enchantment (compulsion) effect.

The waves of magic break over most everyone, but linger about Aura and James. James immediately slumps over near the door, fast asleep.
The magic lasts X number of rounds, so I'll keep initiative tracked.

Sabert looks to James as the man suddenly slumps to the ground. Cautiously, Sabert steps over to him and nudges him with a toe. "Whats the problem?! This isn't the time to be falling out! Whats wrong?" Concern edges his voice as he bends to examine his friend.

Aura, wipes the drool from her mouth and pulls a dagger and dropping next to James, deftly slices a chunk of his exposed flesh off of his body and then eats it.

James screams himself away, "That was the worst night... and they call ME a barbarian. I haven't eaten your flesh, now have I Aura? Is this about who came in here first still?" James stands up, takes a defensive stance and looks confused at what is happening.

Sabert's jaw hits the floor as Aura carves a bite off of James like a roast turkey. Finally, he gets control of himself and hollers "What in the gods many names do you think you're DOING?!?!?!" He jumps on top of her, trying to tackle and restrain the wild elf woman.

Not certain why I was skipped. I was just posting for Role play purposes until we got to round 2.
Taking advantage of the scout being grabbed, Fethril attempts to bolster her resolve to end the compulsion.
"Good work Sabert. Aura, listen to me. With the aid of Nethys, cast off the chains of this spell."

Will cast Guidance to give her a bonus to any saves she makes in the next minute (I plan to follow this up with Protection from Evil next round, hopefully giving her a second save with an additional +1.

"Well, that was all rather unpleasant. We could not ALL be in the pile Kelris, someone had to stand guard. Now then, let's see if we can stop James from bleeding all over the ruins, shall we?" Fethril pulls out a wand of curative magic and touches it to the warrior's chest.

"Now then, we should be more careful. If those traps can effect an elf like Aura, then they must be powerful indeed."

This long, high-ceilinged hall is partially flooded with murky, stagnant water, and the sound of slowly dripping water echoes ominously throughout. A massive banyan tree has breached a large section of the south wall, and the tree’s enormous invasive roots now extend several feet into the hall. Long sheets of thick moss and other detritus cling to the twisted tree roots, forming a curtainlike barrier.
The western half of the room is flooded with about 3 feet of dirty standing water, and where the room narrows, the floor gradually slopes up from west to east, leaving the eastern half dry.

As the compulsion fades, Aura begins vomiting what she ate. After a moment, silently draws one of her blades and cuts herself to match James then binds her wound.

I was thinking more than a leg, but I probably shouldn't have read the description so literally.
The blade of Kelris' halberd comes crashing down on the leech breeches the water. It cuts into the meat of the parasite and severely injures it, though the lashing teeth still work to latch onto flesh.
