The man sees James' charge coming and manages to push the haft of the scythe away with his shield. That moves it out of the way enough for Fethril's arrow to come in and puncture his arm. I chose that phrase for the dice roll because I thought I'd roll higher than a 10.

Lol it's all good!

Sabert rushes forward, poking his rapier at guard on the left, but missing horribly..
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Aura's attack takes advantage of James distraction and slips her dagger into the man's ribs. He stumbles about, breathing hard, but stays standing.

The other man takes advantage of Kelris' rise from the ground and swings his axe.

Slash!: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

The axe goes absolutely no where, and in other circumstances may have injured its wielder.

Baron Rudyahm takes careful aim and tries to take out the severely injured man.

Damage: 1d12 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Onwards!

The looters’ spoils consist of a sack containing a coral holy symbol of Ragdya (worth 70 gp), six jeweled tiles (worth 5 gp each), and an alluring golden apple.

A mosaic of a monkey-faced figure decorates the floor of this room, though the tiles that would form its eyes are missing. The north end of the room is filled with rubble blocking an arched passageway. To the west, vines and foliage intrude into the temple through an open-air balcony, while a similar balcony to the east remains relatively clear of plant life. An open archway leads south.

South

A narrow path extends between the exterior wall of the temple and the thick web of vines and tree branches that cover the temple’s walls. At either end of the path, small open-air balconies lead back into the temple.

What do you do before you head to the heart of the temple?

Fethril: Luckily, I did not!

As the last man falls to the ground, Sabert wipes his rapier clean and puts it away for the moment. Suddenly, he feels Fethrils healinng power wash over him, and he looks around to see who was hurt. He sees Aura as her eyes blink open and she admonishes him. Sabert helps her to stand, while pulling a wand from his belt. "Maybe so, but talking was at least worth a try!" he says, as he begins to tap her with the healy stick.
Turning to Fethril, he acknowledges the Elf's contributions. "Thank you! It is much appreciated and welcomed. I tell you what.. would you like to hold on to this for me? Use it on anyone that needs it. I am sure it is inferior to your own healing, but at least it can help you!"

"When everyone is ready I will lead the way down.", James announces to the group.

Nope, can't tell quite where they came from.

A 20-foot-tall, high-relief sculpture of a mountain dominates the north end of this large chamber. A statue of a figure now missing its head sits in the lotus position at the mountain’s peak, while smaller statues of monkey-faced pilgrims rest on ledges farther down the mountain. Shattered pieces of yet more monkey statues litter the floor.

The southern half of the room is filled with rubble, obstructing an arched passageway to the south. In the center of the room, a small enclosed shrine made of dark brown stone faces south toward the rubble. A hallway to the west leads to a balcony overrun by foliage, while a hallway to the east leads to an open balcony.
