Between the combined work of Grusk's arrow, Doc's bomb and Kaavel's fists one of the wights drops unmoving to the floor.
Darkbiter takes a chunk out of the other before it retaliates against him....

"Gettin' a little crowded fer me little friend here." Doc says pushing the moarter back on it's shoulder sling and pulling an odd looking thing, like a bowless crossbow, from a holster on his back. "Time fer yer maiden voyage, hon. Do me proud." He says to the strange weapon, sighting on the remaining dead miner. A moment later there was a thunder crack and a puff of smoke.

Sentis and Baran starting making their way through the debris littered tunnel. It didnt look like there was an opening for the druid to enter into the fray so he waited to see what happened.

"Look out for others, these things seem to be quite numerous." Dark suggests as he seeks to finish off the one in front of him, having been able to shake off the nasty side effect of it's previous attack.
Greatsword attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Greatsword damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 2) + 3 = 8

If he has flanking, add 2 each of the attacks.

"Num'r'us?" Doc said as he slammed another round into his strange weapon "Wha?"
He glances around for new targets before going back to the wounded enemy. "One atta time, boys. We got this."
1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 4 = 2 touch attack
misfire.
No thundercrack follows the trigger pull. Only a dry puff of smoke and an unsatisfying click.
Doc blinks. "Aw, pyrite!"

I'm waiting to find out if my Acrobatics check was successful or not
As one has already been dropped you can modify to an attack if you so wish?
At present Darkbiter is on the other side of it, so you already have a flank without needing to move through threatened areas.| Memluk "Blaze" Seljuk |
Blaze lashes out with his scimitar, attempting to cut down the wight before it can hurt his friends again. First however, he imbues Sunstrike with some of his personal arcane power to make the blade more effective Spending a point from my Arcane Pool as a swift action to add a +1 enchantment to Sunstrike for 1 minute 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 Crit confirm
1d6 + 6 + 1d4 ⇒ (5) + 6 + (2) = 13 damage. 2 of that damage is fire.

It certainly explains what happened to the miner's but aren't we also after the fate of the missing caravan? Surely they didn't fall prey to these vile creatures. They wouldn't have even ventured down here would they? Did anyone see any evidence of a caravan? Well, besides the one we shared camp with...
Sentis's lack of expertise in this field was apparent. Hence all of the questions.
| DM - Voice of the Voiceless |
The camp would have supported between ten and fifteen souls.
There was no sign of caravan or cart at the refining camp, but remember it has been some time and the large storm recently may have masked any trail.
The caravan you ran into was not the one you were looking for.
The tunnel continuing to the right widens a bit, and the raised path on the left pinches out - leaving only a 15ft wide path on the right hand side free of the water.
There is a central platform joined by bridge that holds a large metal contraption. It consists of a central shaft running from floor to ceilin, surrounded by poles that form a large cage around it. A trough runs along beside it.

Sentis eyed the contraption and couldnt for the life of him figure out what it was for.
What is that?
He was getting more and more uncomfortable underground but trusted in his more knowledgable squad mates. He held his light enhanced torch high and checked behind them as was expected of rear guard.

What is that?
Doc shrugs. He'd seen many similar things before, but wasn't exactly sure what this one's purpose was. "Some kinda grinder. Might be fer making big rocks inta little rocks t' more easly move 'em, might be fer some kinda extraction process. There ought t' be some kinda storage containers or'a refinery room near 'ere. Whatever's in 'em 'll tell us wha' this thing's purpose is. Surprises me tha' it's inside. Guess whatever it's for 's weather sensitive."

Sorry, was away from the computer yesterday. A side note, if you get a chance to see Spamalot, do so. It's a great show.

The two wights are only about 20ft in front of the squad, though both are in base to base with Darkbiter.
Bridge is about 10ft wide and the water is about thigh deep where the fighting is.
Spot for one person flanking the 2nd wight this round, then in round 2 assume you can flank if you want to.
You'll might have notice that I have started doing maps for my PbPs, but since these two should go down pretty quick, I haven't bothered here.... next fight however....

Kaavel curses after seeing the new undead attack Darkbiters. He than goes into his fighting stance before heading to attack one of the undead creatures.

| Sentis Spinis |
Sentis coldnt believe that his hesitation had caused him to miss out on the second fight in as many minutes. He stayed back and guarded Doc while he looked over the strange machine. He knew Dark and Grusk would be alert up front so he kept checking their back trail. Baran was a silent shadow beside him.
