Maya speaks, "We don't have mcuh time....urggh...get to deep storage bay V14...There, meet up with a droid named Switch and ask him about some cargo he's holding for me....he'll tell you where it is. He was responsible...uggh...for receiving and storing that cargo. I was supposed to contact him, recover the cargo, and deliver it to Senator Bail Organa. Which leads me to explaining...what I do. I'm a member of Senator Organa's special detail within Alderaanian Security. The Empire waylaid me hours after arriving on this station...Apparently I'm a troublemaker since I work for an opponent of the Empire and they want me off the station one way or another. So...aggh...will you help me?"
Cora Tershin |
Cora blinks in surprise. "Senator Bail Organa!? Viceroy Bail Organa? And you work for him? Any help you require, my service is yours and the Senator's. I am a native of Alderaan, born in Aldera. Here, let me see to your wounds."
Cora is acting as giddy as a schoolgirl meeting someone else from her home planet, and especially upon hearing the name of her Queen's husband.
Undoubtedly trusting (and possibly naively), she moves to the injured woman and places her hands on her wounds. She closes her eyes as she draws on the Force to try and heal Maya, apparently forgetting about the others in the room.

Kalus "The Red Hawk" Arrhun |
"What the...are you a Jedi? Are you a kriffing Jedi!?" Kalus couldn't believe it. Not only had he just engaged in a shootout with the Imps, he had apparently found himself with a Jedi. I can't believe this. How in the Maw am I supposed to resume a career in piracy with a Jedi? I am in way over my head now.
Kalus begins pacing , saying, "Bad enough we fired on Imperials, now we're aiding a Jedi. Kessel will be a vacation compared to our eventual fates if we don't get out of this!"
Cora Tershin |
Oh Sithspit... There goes THAT secret... Cora cursed to herself.
She glared at Kalus as he paced around the room frantically. "Stop shouting you fool. No one outside this room knows, but if you keep freaking out like that then the whole station will know!"
Navik Kenu |
" It hardly matters. We'll all be wanted by the empire after what went down here. " He pauses and looks to Maya. " Maya, I don't want to be rude and I'm on board but you mentioned credits? "
Kalus "The Red Hawk" Arrhun |
"Listen, kid, when you've been around the galaxy as much as I have, you learn that some things deserve a freak out." He turned to Mya and said, "Deep storage bay V14, droid named Switch, holding cargo for you. We get the cargo, and then we can get on a ship and leave, right ?"
Cora Tershin |
Cora sighs. "Look, let's make a deal here... what was your name again? Anyways, how about you NOT mention the word Jedi to anyone, and I'll think of some way to repay you when I can get some credits or something valuable. Until then, just pretend I follow some strange, hokey religion or, better yet, NOTHING AT ALL..."
Navik Kenu |
Are there any other exits to this room other than the one we came in through?
"Listen, kid, when you've been around the galaxy as much as I have, you learn that some things deserve a freak out."
Navik looks away and mutters in Rodian " Fair enough, Grandpa "
"There are credits in it for you and yes, I have a ship arranged to pick you up after you retrieve the cargo. Also, thank you for healing me but I'm exhausted. I need some rest."
" Credits and a ship out of here sounds great. I'm in. "
Ryn Daal |
Amazing! A Jedi! Our matriarch used to tell us tales of the Doneeta.
"Wow! A Jedi! I had only heard stories. I never thought I would actually meet one."
Cora Tershin |
Cora looks at the Twi'lek and grins. "Well, unless we can get out of here it will be a short-lived experience," she quips.
Kalus "The Red Hawk" Arrhun |
"It's Kalus, and fine, the less we talk about this, the better. Now, let's go handle this cargo."
Calling up a map of the station, he figured out a low-traffic route to the deep storage bay, and peeked out the storage room door to make sure the coast was clear.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Ryn chuckles at Kalus' s Huttese comment. Then proceeds to stare blankly at the young force user.
Cora Tershin |
Cora tilts her head inquisitively at the strange language Kalus used, which was obviously understood by the pretty Twi'lek girl.
I wonder what he said... Well since the nexu's out of the bag I might as well not hold back around these folks. Hopefully my limited skills can convince them of my worth. They seem like they can handle themselves well in a fight so it would be prudent to stick around them, she muses to herself.
"Let me see if the Force will guide us," she offered.
Closing her eyes, she tried to push out with her feelings to sense if there was any danger nearby.

Ryn Daal |
"You're not going to read my thoughts or anything, are you?" Ryn ignorantly inquires from the young Jedi padawan.
After an awkward pause where Ryn realizes the lack of tact she just employed, she suggests another idea.
"I could contact my father and maybe he could get us out of this situation? "
Navik Kenu |
" Your father?! Are you on vacation or something? "
Ryn Daal |
"Ha! On this planet? Business...supposedly. He is a diplomat on Ryloth. Something about renting out massive storage space for business. He has connections though."
Navik Kenu |
" I think the less people know about this the better. Maybe we can call him as a last resort... "
Cora Tershin |
"Uh, we have a problem guys... We have a large, and when I say large I mean at least ten stormtroopers heading this way. Now, we have two options here: We can rush them while firing wildly--I'm apparently good at that--and hope that we can blast our way to the docking bays..." she pauses to let that option sink in, brandishing her sporting blaster before continuing: "...or we can use the back door to this supply room," she finishes with a wry smile.
Navik Kenu |
Naviks mouth hangs open for a second. " Yeah... Ah... Yeah. " he moves to the back door, opens it a crack and looks out.
Perception : 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Kalus "The Red Hawk" Arrhun |
I hope they don't have any Jedi detectors. The last thing we need is them sensing what she does.
Making sure the supply room door was closed and locked, Kalus moved to the back door and looked out along with Navik.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Ryn Daal |
"Um..I vote back door.Maya, are you coming with us? "
Ryn Daal |
Looking at the seasoned scoundrel, the Twi'lek noble makes a suggestion.
"Kalus is it? Lead the way! I've got your back."
Ryn clutches her blaster under her cloak.
Cora Tershin |
Cora tags along, tucking her sporting blaster back into its holster.
"Hey, uh, how about we not tell anyone what I can do, okay?
Ryn Daal |
"I don't think it is in any of our best interests for anyone to know what you are."
Navik Kenu |
" Secret's safe with me " For now...
Navik slips out into the hallway looking back and forth keeping his blaster carbine ready but low. He starts heading towards the storage bays.
Kalus "The Red Hawk" Arrhun |
Kalus moves out right behind Navik, carefully advancing and pausing to check cross hallways for any sign of Imperial activity, hand on the butt of his blaster.
I won't tell anyone what she is, but if it makes a difference on my sentence, that secret is out of the bag.
Ryn Daal |
Ryn follows Navik and Kalus cautiously out into the hallway looking around as she goes.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
SoulDragon298 |
As you walk through the halls, you hear a faint conversation nearby. It sounds like an Imperial officer.
"One of the perpetrators was identified as the daughter of a Twi'lek diplomat with the last name of Daal. Bring him in for questioning. It may just be his daughter who has rebel thoughts, but we must cover all bases"
You hear 2 "Yes sir"s and then the clattering of stormtrooper boots hitting the ground as they run off.
Cora Tershin |
Alyna attempts to use the Force to gauge her surroundings.
Use the Force - Sense Surroundings: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Navik Kenu |
Navik looks at Ryn. " Want to give me your fathers comm code? I could give him an anonymous tip off, maybe he can get off the station before the Imps get him? "
Ryn Daal |
Ryn shows Navik her comm link with her father's code and then panics, talking softly to her self, "By Lekku, they will hurt him. What have I done?"
She looks at Navik and inquires, "What am I going to do Navik? They will be looking for Twi'lek everywhere."
Navik Kenu |
" If you've got a cloak with a hood, that would be a start but my plan is to shoot first till we're off this station. "
Navik takes out the commlink he stole from the imperial informant and starts to dial the comm code. Then he stops.
" You know, I'm not great with words. Maybe you'd be better at this? " he says passing the commlink to Kalus
oops, better stick to my skill set of blowing things up... I doubt Navik would be able to talk Ryn's father into leaving the station without her.
Cora Tershin |
"How about we use my comlink. We can keep the Imp's comlink set to their operational channel to keep tabs on their movements and orders," Cora suggests.
Navik Kenu |
Not sure if caller ID is a thing in Starwars. Just didn't want to have my commcode be on the comlink of someone who's about to have a brush with the empire.
" I just don't want the empire getting a hold of my comm code. "
Kalus "The Red Hawk" Arrhun |
That will depend largely on SD if he wants the good ambassador's comlink to save the comm code.
"I will use your comlink to make the call, but we're going to have to ditch it right after, so you'll have to get a new one. You alright with that?" Kalus asks Cora, seeing the sense in her idea but wondering if she really knows how to stay hidden on the run.
Navik Kenu |
" Just use this one, " Navik says gesturing to the stolen comm. " I don't think we are going to get any useful information from it anyway. We haven't heard anything from it yet and I f they have our descriptions they probably know that the owner is dead. "
Ryn Daal |
Honestly, I don't know any fun examples to use here.
"11-21-56-8744", then can we get out of here now?"
Kalus "The Red Hawk" Arrhun |
Dialing up the ambassador's comm code, Kalus attempted to make his voice sound different as he sent the anonymous message.
"Your daughter was involved in a shoot out with Imperial forces on the station. Imperials are on their way to question you. Leave as soon as you can in order to best protect yourself."
Deception to disguise voice: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Kalus then shut the comlink off after he finished the message and threw it down a nearby garbage disposal chute.
"There, it's done. He's been warned. Let's keep moving."
Navik Kenu |
Navik gives Kalus a nod, turns and heads down the hallway in the direction of the storage bays.
Ryn Daal |
Before heading out into the hallway, Ryn hurriedly adjusts her cloak and uses other an old scarf to try and wrap her head so that she is unrecognizable.

Cora Tershin |
"Let me help you with that," Cora says as she tries to help Ryn with her disguise.

What in hell have we gotten ourselves into?
Ryn Daal |
"Gratitude Cora! Ryn replies to Cora's help as it may be easier for even the Rodian to blend in than her.
