Star Wars: Chronicles (Inactive)

Game Master DM Xyro

Star Wars: Chronicles is a Star Wars RPG campaign using the Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion/Force and Destiny rules from Fantasy Flight Games (https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/#/universe/star-wars).

The concept of this campaign is episodic (taking place after the Battle of Yavin, during the time of the Episode 4-6 movies), similar to the style of the Star Wars: Rebels television series. The characters will be making a living for themselves any way they can as well as taking the odd job from the Rebel Alliance to further the aims of the Rebellion.

Obligation will be Obsession: The Hunt/Scorekeeper.
He is particularly overly obsessed with the Hunt. He will when reaching a new planet or town always check the bounty boards and cantinas for bounties of great interest and reward. If there is a particularly nasty beast on the planet, he will want to hunt it. He will understand that he needs to stay with the group and manage the mission but when given a chance to prove himself to the Scorekeeper and earn himself more points he will almost always take it. That is not to say that he is stupid and will go jump a rancor unarmed and half dead. The Ryyk blade he carries was from one of his first kills at a young age, managing to best a wookie in single combat and taking the blade as his trophy while giving to his clan's matriarch the pelt.

Keep in mind the 4000 credits are extra, which means they are added to the usual starting funds, not replace them.

The rest of the things he would want are a bit more expensive, I forget what starting credits were. Kinda sleepy

Welcome aboard Thrask and drayen, I am good with both of you joining.
Our pilot is out but the human smuggler(kellen) will stay on as a DM PC in order to help nudge the story and take care of the ship.

If someone wants to play a pilot that is good or Kellen will act as the pilot also.

I am aiming for a firefly / SW rebels as Castor stated but we will see where we end up.

I would say we have enough force users right now but you can convince me otherwise about that also.

Build Rules:
All players should fall under the 'good guys' banner though. They can still be edgy, but overall on the good side. See it as in the beginning, the Empire, in one way or another, has rubbed you the wrong way. So that even if you're not outright a 100% member of the Rebellion, you can understand why they do what they do (and especially if those rumors of Alderaan being destroyed by the Empire themselves and not Terrorist Rebels like they say are true). And to that end, their money and goods are as good as anyone else's when it comes to deals.

Any race in EotE/AoR/FaD as well as any career/spec.
Add 20 experience to starting pool. After initial creation you can have 80 more XP (no skill ranks over 3)(these cannot be used for characteristics as they only can be updated at creation)
Add 4000 credits to the starting number of 500 ( I believe FaD characters roll a d100)
Beginning Obligation/ Duty will be 10.
Force Users should have Morality and one or both of Obligation/Duty. Non-Force Users are able to choose from Obligation and/or Duty. XP or Funds can only be gained from one of your selections, not all three.

Please move to the discussion thread.

I see you're missing all of your pilots. I could go for an Ace (rigger) or Technician (mechanic or outlaw tech). Someone who can pilot a ship really well and make everything function "better". I like the Duros for race, but I am happy to go Human to better blend in with the current party members.

to add to my previous post, you are welcome to be a pilot or anything else. From a players perspective make sure your character does something else well also as there will be many times the group is off ship and I wouldn't want you to feel bored. There will be ship board antics for sure also.

Heya, I just realized that this thread exists, and I'd like to volunteer for a pilot. If it's too late, I'd understand, just asking if you need one. I've played the premade pilot in AoR.

If you want, you can check my profile for played games.

We definitely need a pilot, whether its NPC or PC. Really can't get by without one or two. And yes, we are set BtDS: Between the Death Stars.

EDIT: Once you have your character concept, you will need to go out and find yourself a cool SW pic for your avatar. There are instructions earlier in Discussion on what to do with them. What you CAN'T see right now is how we look with the Chrome addon. Just let me know when and I can let Rae'dalla know two more are coming.

Trust me, its worth it.

I made my character, this being the profile. Sadly, all the Sullustan pictures are unsufficiently badass, except for one rather low-res one from an old video game.

Is there a place where you got yours from, or did you PS it yourself?

Look into Sullustan images from SWTOR MMO, that's where mine is from.
