Whoops, forgot my spoiler. You'll gain 6 temporary HP Micha, they'll last an hour.
Share Essence (Sp): As a standard action, you can share your vital energy with a living creature that you touch. You take 1d6 points of nonlethal damage + 1 for every two wizard levels you possess. You cannot take an amount of nonlethal damage equal to or greater than your current hit point total; any excess is prevented. The recipient gains a number of temporary hit points equal to the amount of damage you received (prevented damage is not counted). These temporary hit points disappear 1 hour later. You may not use this ability to grant yourself temporary hit points. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier. This ability has no effect if you are immune to nonlethal damage.

As the goblin brings down the black blade it bites deeply into the orc's forearm. She gasps as the wound freezes, the brittle ice overtaking most of her limb. The gasp cuts off as her eyes go wide and she slumps to the ground. The goblin's second swing is too high as his target has fallen face first onto the slick stones.
Aubreck smiles grimly. "Well done my friends. So dwarf, care to take your chances? Your green friends did not seem to fare so well."
Jacky seems too engrossed in taking down Illyri to notice, his back completely exposed as he focuses his efforts on his new rival.

Aubreck smiles as Vertheg returns to his side. "Well done. The winds pick up, blowing rain from all angles. Vertheg leads the party through the Port, sticking to wider roads, but staying close to building fronts. The green pallor of the sparsely placed everburning lanterns casts a sickly glow. Passersby keep their hoods and scarves up, eyes darting towards the group, but most cling to their coats and hurry to get out of the bitter rain. A few downtrodden beg for coins as you pass, but you reach Dolurrh's Doorstep without incident.
Making your way inside, many of the patrons has dispersed to their own agendas, the raucous of hours before dwindled to a few regulars passing time with drink and cards. Smiley nods as Illyri addresses him, and Vertheg moves to the bar to settle the debts for the evening. Aubreck shuffles to a large empty table, coincidentally the same table Zorna and Sarazra sat you at previously. He puts his back to the wall and slumps into the chair, trying to wipe the rain from his thinning hair.
The female half-orc still sits in the corner, boots upon the table, cloaked in the shadows of the tavern as she pulls heavily from a pipe, surveying your return. The dwarven manager sways as he sits upon a stool at the bar, watching the room through half-lidded eyes. The half-orc barmaid continues to serve drinks, but the rest of the staff seems to have been dismissed for the evening.

Aubreck sighs as he poors himself a glass of wine. He takes a sip and begins. "Straight to the heart of it, then. There was once a time when the name Aubreck ir'Drallion was well known across Khorvaire. I was a gentleman of fortune, a thrill-seeker, and a merchant sailor that could put many a Lhazaarite to shame. I learned through my contacts, of a business opportunity I could not pass up. In exchange for an assortment of magical trinkets and baubles, I was to engage in spice trade with a powerful shaman of Xen'drik. I spread myself too thin stocking the jewel of my fleet, Emperor of the Waves. Unfortunately, the Emperor never made her destination. A storm separated her from her escort and her fate was unknown... until recently." The nobleman takes a heavy drink from his glass.
"My ship was spotted in The Gray Tide less than a week ago. How she managed to wind up there, I do not know. That is not what concerns me. I am hoping, with your assistance, I may reclaim some of my personal items from her holds. I have hired a ship and a crew, Wolgar, an old contact of mine, has offered the services of his dwarves to take myself and those I hire to the site of the Emperor. Captain Windrune is a fair man, and he will not let me down. This is where you come in. I would like you to board my derelict ship, search it, and return especially a box of mine. A coffer of blue metal emblazoned with a captial A. The box is precious to me, as are its contents. I know not what has become of other items on the ship, but you are welcome to what you come across save the box. If you are willing to engage in this endeavor for me, I will offer you each one hundred galifars now, and one hundred more when the box is returned to me." Aubreck finishes his glass and starts to pour another.

Avicia takes another "swig" from the bottle and would seem to most passersby to be having an argument or something of that nature...
The ship! From what he told us the ship was the crown jewel of his enterprise... You don't put your most valuable goods on a ship that's a leaky, rat ridden barge... No you put it on something that's sea worthy and has decent speed...perhaps even an elemental galleon or something of that sort. What would amount to roughly a 1000 galifars between us all would be nothing compared to a ship of our own. Think of the possibilities that such a ship could provide...

"Assuming of course this boat of his still floats, it could be all jammed up on some reef or what have you. Don't get me wrong, getting a share of a ship would be ideal, there's a lot o' pocket lining and hidden knowledge to be found in an expedition such as that."
Alistair leans back in his chair idly waving his hands through a few arcane gestures. A poorly wrapped cigarette will float from a pocket in his scarf to his mouth, and a snap of his fingers later he'll take a long drag from the now lit cigarette. He appears lost in thought for a while, but he will mumble, almost to himself,
"A pretty romantic notion that... a shlub from the lower towers o' Sharn and a group of strangers sailing off for buried treasures..."
Alistair will remain quiet a few moments more but will raise his eyebrow quizzically at Dharatak, curious to see what the Goblin's opinion is on the matter.

I've sailed a few times and I can say that I like it, the wind blowing in one's hair is a nice feeling... I can't say I have the skills for it but something tells me that our patron's ship didn't run aground or against a reef... Those two we met earlier make me feel like the disappearance and reappearance of the ship is no accident. I suspect that she will be seaworthy or easily made seaworthy, however I suspect that she will have..."occupants" on board. I get the feeling they won't exactly be of the living variety.
