Milax "The Black" |

....After you sign your name and offer your small drop of blood to the page, a duplicate of the contract appears. "One for you, and one for me." Horner says with a sly grin. "You are now Knight-Errants. I shall introduce you to your Knight-Captain. You may come down now Milax." Horner says as he looks up.
Dropping down from a stack of supplies in the storage room under the Crimson Coin, Milax lands on her feet, as she always does.
"Purrfect. I look forward to working with you all. You may call me Milax, or Lady Black, which ever you purrfer." The dark furred female Catfolk introduces herself with a graceful bow.
You all start with 3/3 Hero Points. At the end of every chapter(which is when you level-aprox every 3-4 encounters) I will award Hero Points for the following- Best Roleplayer, Best Use of a Hero Point, and MVP(this category is chosen by the players, you can not vote for yourself and can be based on any criteria you see fit.)
Please do not post here until I have done your final audit in the Discussion Tab.

Agreal |

Agreal nods at Horner and takes up the contract placing it within his backpack.
"Pleasure to sign... Who's Mi"
Seeing the woman drop down from the supplies Agreal actually takes a step back and almost readies himself to fight before he hears her words. Continuing, but slightly flustered due to being snuck up on.
"What is you bidding Milax?"
I have never seen a cat person before. I wonder if they are part of the great mother's plan?

Milax "The Black" |

"I will let Milax cover the rest. I probably will not see you for a while, and you certainly will not see me, unless I want you too."Horner says with a smile and walks out of the storage room.
"Now we get down to business my bartending friend. Oh! your first job! Isn't it exciting? I wish I could go back to my first job, it was so fun! Ok, ok. Lets see. For this job I need someone that is good talking to people, Someone that is good taking things without being noticed, Someone that is good finding things, someone that can pretend to be someone else, someone good with knots, Oh and a few people that know how to fight! So who can do what?"
Last post for the night, think about what position for this heist you want to take.
Someone good talking to people=High Cha and or Diplomacy/Intimidate/Bluff
Someone good taking things=High Dex and or Sleight of Hand/Stealth
Someone good at finding things= High Wis and or Perception/Sense Motive/Survival
Someone that can pretend to be someone else= High Cha and or Disguise/Bluff
Someone good with knots= High Dex and or Escape Artist/Profession Sailor/Climb
Few People that know how to fight= High Str/Dex/Con and or BaB 1, AC>15 or simply not falling into the other categories.

Sarvin of House Morilla |

Sarvin looks over the contract, wiping his thumb on his weathered jacket, as he absorbs entirely what he's signed. "Knight-errant, huh..."
The dark-skinned tiefling speaks to himself mostly and steps back, rolling up the contract and lowering his hand, switching grip from his hand to an almost knife pointed lizard tail that then puts the item into the bottom set of buckled pockets on his backpack.
Looking for a moment or two at his finger, he makes sure that it is smudged and no longer bleeding. "Shouldn't be too bad.."
It is the introduction of the cat lady that brings more than a straight face to the tiefling's stony persona. He actually smirks as he sees that the Smoke Knights are not quite so descriminatory as the majority of the city.
Clearing his throat, the young man speaks slowly but clearly. "I tend to have a good eye for finding things."

Agreal |

Agreal smiles back at Milax's words.
"Money's always good. I'm in the finding group. Who'da thunk it?"
Agreal looks at everybody else he doesn't know yet.
"I'm Agreal a healer, brawler, and adpet of the gods."

Noro Kas |

Noro signs the document getting a drop of her blood... which wound?
Noro listens to this introduction and people's responses
so many act so tough
i guessh i'm a good shpeaker.... she pauses then laughs yeah right, that aint happening

Maldrek Zorn |

Maldrek signed the document
I believe that I can perform as a face, my ability to lie is sub par but like all who are allied with House Tevineg I carry a reputation and I know how to appeal to the avarice of others. However in truth my strength lies in the scholarly arts concerning the planes, arcana, religion and a few other things.

Corvus SKA |

Her patched clothes are perfectly tailored to hide her leathers but to the casual observer, she looks like any commoner. This far she's held back - the last to sign in blood and when others press forward to volunteer she once more moves back into the shadows.
As she waits, she appraises the others. She considers the rumour that the first job is always to see who can cut it and she makes a mental note who she would stick close to and who she'll keep clear of when the going gets tough. She considers their clothes, their weapons and their armour. She pays more attention to the quality and wear than the items themselves as they say more about the wearer. Are they unused and for show or worn out because they're not maintained. All these facts are gleaned in a matter of seconds as she looks her comrades up and down.
Finally she speaks, her usual crystal clear voice disguised enough to avoid letting on this soon her noble birth. "I have a knack of pretending I'm someone else." She lets the words fall and immediately steps backwards, seeking the shadows again.

Milax "The Black" |

Milax listens intently to each of you. "Sounds like I have a good group... better than last time at least, Talk amongst yourselves a bit and enjoy the Crimson Coin. I will meet you here tomorrow evening to begin our plan. Beware that Tomorrow marks the first day of the Purrrimarch's feast. Though there be plenty of marks here in town, the Guards will be on the look out and they promised to make example out of anyone they catch. "

You may do a job roll, similar to PFS, for the night. I will use the PFS chart to determine how much gold you make. As the campaign progresses this will turn into using the full downtime system in the Ultimate Campaign Guide, but I need to tailor it a bit more to fit this setting. Job Rolls include - Professions, Crafts, Performance,*Certain traits open up other possibilities such as Fence.

Maldrek Zorn |

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

Aeadon signed his contract, tucking his copy into his scroll box.
"I am Aeadon."
He gives a curt bow.
"Sadly my skills are lacking for this it seems. My talents lie in trap making, lore, and languages. If information is needed then I am sure I can be of use, baring that I am a passable shot."
Knowledge was his weapon of choice, forged documents on occasion as well.

Maldrek Zorn |

Profession libarian1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
question gm do you want me to make the entries for the various archdevils listed in the Lessons of Thrune book or do you want to make them. And yes Maldrek will be studying them excessivelly, as this is a once you made the choice no reversing it decision.

Noro Kas |

Noro simply hangs out as everyone signs. Some she has seen in the tavern, others she has never met.
profession check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Noro spends the rest of the evening drinking and having a bit of fun in the tavern.
anyone wants to converse then let me know.
before long Noro is again trying to earn her keep in the arena. but her current record would seem that others are making more coin at her expense.

Noro Kas |

Noro loks up at the barkeep.
would sheem having a barkeep on my team ishint such a bad thing she says.
Of courshe you can buy me a drink
for only a moment Noro might of actually acted a little like a girl. ...must have been your imagination...

Agreal |

After healing many sick folk Agreal walks back to the bar.
Hearing Jiri's words Agreal nods.
"Probably something to do with what they asked us about. Maybe they want us to go up against a veteran guild member to have them judge us."
Agreal seems quite proud of this theory before launching into another one.
"Or we could be going after an archmage. Never know."

Noro Kas |

"So what do you think we're going to be up against? They're obviously setting us up with a job, some kind of test I suppose."
don't know and really don't care. I know what I'm here to do and I'm gonna do it
when Sarvin arrives
yea, I'm Noro, thish is "J". What can do ya for?

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

Aeadon entered the Crimson Coin after he unloaded the last of the days traps. He saw some others had already arrived.
"Greetings, kahve if you would good Jiri."
Once he finds a good place to sit himself and over hears the thoeries.
"It seems plain what the test will be to me. To obtain an item, which will be guarded and possibly on the move or upon someone's person. I suspect a distraction will be needed, stealth, and misdirection. With perhaps some force, the level of which would be dependent upon the state of conditions. Then again I may be wrong and off the mark by a long shot. I would like nothing better then a simple task but my nature denies me such wishful thinking."
He catches himself for a moment.
"Apologies, it appears the day's work has made me ramble."
Folding his hands he waits for his drink. Thinking if he had said to much on the matter.

Sarvin of House Morilla |

He chuckles, seeing Noro's reaction. "After a long day, I figured a good bit of booze would be quite relaxing."
He shrugs, his hands covered in charcoal smudges, and he smells distinctly of strange, awful smelling chemicals.
"As far as our task? I think the academic in the corner may have it right."

Noro Kas |

"I like to think so, but fists speak better than words. Wanna take this outside to not get in trouble?"
You really don't want to teashe me like that. I would have you bent like a pretzel shcreaming for your mommmy inside of 1 minute
Noro takes a drink of her ale, courtesy of "J", which she nods an approving glance.

Jiri |

"Greetings, kahve if you would good Jiri."
"Sorry man, I'm off duty"
"It seems plain what the test will be to me. To obtain an item, which will be guarded and possibly on the move or upon someone's person. I suspect a distraction will be needed, stealth, and misdirection. With perhaps some force, the level of which would be dependent upon the state of conditions. Then again I may be wrong and off the mark by a long shot. I would like nothing better then a simple task but my nature denies me such wishful thinking."
Jiri looks around to ensure they're not being overheard then adds cynically, "Or they'll dump us in a swamp naked and tell us to raid the armory."

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

"Sorry man, I'm off duty"
He goes to get his drink with little more to add at the moment. The Smoke Knights were smart about everything they did. That was why they held such a position in Absalom. The contract had stated it after all, wealth was the goal and violence a tool of last resort.

Gerrik Lovejoy |

Wow, a lot of posts, let me just get in here tonight.
Gerrik Lovejoy signs his name elegantly, even if the ink is his own blood. That should do. He takes his copy of the contract and put it away quickly. Making money is always a fine idea. I suppose I can be one of your fighters, though I may need to learn a trick or two when it comes to fisticuffs. He glances over to the woman that decked him, rubbing his chin and smirking. I'm more accustomed to ranged combat.
Since I took Fence as my trait, do I roll for a day job yet?

Agreal |

Agreal shrugs.
"Suit yourself."
Agreal then walks over to Sarvin
"Sarvin correct? I remember you speaking of being in the hall of mysteries correct? Do you know much about this primarch's feast?"

Sarvin of House Morilla |

Sarvin grins and nods. "Ah, a fellow student, ey? Well, yes, I have spoken a few times there. There's been some speculation on the feast this year. Let's see...what were they saying about this year..."
A Knowledge (local) for info on the feast?
Local: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Torry Maters |

Well this seems to be a merry band of misfits. "Lets just hope we fare better than the last group. Not that there's much of doubt of that, what with the talented people here" the last bit said with a wink. "As for my introduction, I am Torry, a man of many...talents."
Profession (Sailor): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 Well there's a reason he's no longer working on the ships. Torry fumbles his way through inventory paperwork and finally gives up for the night, heading out for drink.

Ok in no specific order: Kits are ok, but I appreciate you letting me know first. Equipment from Core/APG/UC/UM is pretty fair game, if you want something from Ultimate Equipment let me know first.
As far as your book of House Thrune, it should have reference to Asmodeus, and a few others. As long as they are either in Gods and Magic or Inner Sea World Guide or Core than I am good with it. Yes, if you took a trait like fence you can roll for your Job using appraise as you move things for the Thieves. I put up a quick reference from the PFS guide for Day Jobs. You have to get at least a DC 5 to get 1 gold, if you do not than you were non-productive(we all need a break some days).
