Lets assume Elune will not fail her attacks. All the undead wolves are destroyed, and brock slowly recover his mobility. To recapitulate the story, you found some footprints getting away from the dead bodies, it could be related to the caravan you are looking for or not.

"F~%+ing wolves. Let's follow those tracks! I could use a hit from that healing stick too."

The trail is not easy to follow but the ranger is good enough at his job.

It delves into the ashen wastes...it...it perhaps pass nearby our heaven. The boos told you about it? no?, our group have established a a safe heaven in the middle of this hell. If you see a grove of healthy trees growing in the wastelands, it is a sign that our sanctuary is near and can provide respite...thought that clouds are bad, very bad sign...it is going to rain.

I think you mean "haven", not heaven.

"I've already gotten wet today. A little more rain couldn't hurt."

Though obviously it's going to be acid rain or something, right?

Looking at the PDF...yup, haven

...It's going to hurt...

:) .... >:)

the storm is still forming, we could avoid it but the trails most likely will be erased by it, or we could go toward the storm following the track as much as possible though it not normal rain, it burns the skin

Was hoping someone else would chime in. Well, just remember the motto: If my stupid plan gets us killed, it's your fault for not speaking up.

"Let's see if we can beat the storm to wherever the tracks lead. Let's pick up the pace me lads!"

Well, the faster you are the less rounds you are under the rain. So, what is your speed guys?

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

30 feet here (I nabbed Boots of Striding and Springing).

You have weird sleeping habits

Acid Damage to Brock: 4d4 ⇒ (1, 3, 4, 4) = 12

50 ft. You can check a character's speed in their profile/character sheet, BTW.

Acid for Luna: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4
Acid Aedric: 4d4 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 3) = 13

Your clothes are heavily damaged, leaving you half naked.

An experience as horrible as always... - The ranger return to work -The trail is erratic, but It seems it does move in the direction to our haven. I can lead you there, but only if you promise to not hurt the forest, everything there is the result of much work

It somewhat surprise me that you have not been slinging sense motives and double checking with your own survival checks

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

We only hired a guy because nobody here HAS Survival. Since it's a Trained Only skill we are incapable of double-checking.

Plus I've gotten use too GMs just assuming I take 10 on SM when it comes up.

You walk a couple of miles in the dusty, completely sterile landscape. More than once you have coughing fits as a choking coat forms inside an open mouth.

Eventually, through the continuous chalky haze emerges a strangely out-of-place sight, verdant plant life, trees, and lush foliage — a seeming mirage in the wasteland. However, the vision doesn’t waver as you approach proving it to be no mirage. Whitish dust steals the luster from the fringes of this green zone, but beyond the edges you see the vivid greens of
leaves and vibrant colors of flowers and plants undiminished by the dust. Squawks of birds and the occasional animal call rises from this virtual paradise.

The trail enters the place...though I warn you, the place might prove dangerous to newcommers, stay by my side or you could be attacked by the wild animals

"Lead the way."

The verdant growth is just as it appears. You have no idea how a desolate place like the Ashen waste can sustain a dense foliage like this one.

A couple of steps into the dense forest and you start feeling you are not alone

DM rolls:
Stealth: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (12) + 23 = 35
Stealth: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (14) + 23 = 37

Sheeeeit bro that's a ridonkulous DC.

Brock, paranoid, lightly stomps the ground and begins humming again.

Tremorsense 30 feet for 3 rounds. Do I feel anything on the ground nearby?

Now that you know were to look you can see a couple of HUGE tigers are crouched stalking you, but although they are ready to jump on you they just don't take any offensive action, just watch.

Massive stealth and a decent dice roll

HP:44/67 (51)| AC: 24 FF: 19 Touch: 17 CMD: 22 (26 vs Bull Rush and Trip)|Init: +7|Fort +14, Ref +13, Will +8 (+4 vs Poison, Spells, and SLAs)| Perception +12| DR 6/Adamantine

"F$*!ing TIGERS?" Brock yells, incredulous. "Watch out!"

Is HUGE their size category, or just indicating they are quite large?

Brock fires an entangling blast at one of the tigers in an effort to stop it from pouncing on him.

Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26
Damage: 4d6 + 16 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 1) + 16 = 32

And Ref DC 18 or be Entangled.

Wish I had Pushing Infusion so I could shove this Ranger into one of them.

*ahem*, dude they were not going to attack you, they would have pounce by surprise you already

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Oh sure, I'm supposed to trust the HUGE TIGERS with massive Stealth checks hanging out within nomming distance

Oh well, a good old initiative rolling (and the Tigers are actually "just" large size)

ReflexTiger A: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

Spoiler:

Innitiative Tiger A: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Innitiative Tiger B: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Innitiative Brock: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Innitiative Aedric: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Innitiative Luna: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Innitiative Order

Luna
Brock
Tiger A
Tiger B
Aedric

=====================
Brock strike first and this show to the others where the danger is (but I guess you still have to beat their stealth, let's say you have a +10 because brock you have pointed you the place).
Thought Fight actually, might want to not save resources.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

See, you may have wanted to point that out before, since tigers are Large sized by default. These are NORMAL SIZED tigers not HUGE tigers (which would be Dire Tigers).

They are dire tigers, the srd say they are large. I wil check the PRD

They are both large, which perhaps make sense since they are modeled after the smilodon which is just 3 ft lager...or perhaps not. Anyway is your turn

HP:44/67 (51)| AC: 24 FF: 19 Touch: 17 CMD: 22 (26 vs Bull Rush and Trip)|Init: +7|Fort +14, Ref +13, Will +8 (+4 vs Poison, Spells, and SLAs)| Perception +12| DR 6/Adamantine

Isn't it Luna's turn?

And hm, apparently Dire Tigers are still only Large size. Most Dire animals are up a size category.

Brock fires a massive boulder at the tiger he hit last time.

Empowered Deadly Blast: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Damage: 4d6 + 20 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 2) + 20 = 28

42 more damage, for a current total of 74 to Tiger A.

In cases when you are next to a partner in the initiative then you both can act in the order you want. We did that in the first fight, no need to enforce an order among the party's turns.

GM's turn.

Bite: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 302d4 + 8 ⇒ (2, 4) + 8 = 14 - iht
claw: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 402d4 + 8 ⇒ (4, 1) + 8 = 13 - hit
claw: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (16) + 20 = 362d4 + 8 ⇒ (3, 2) + 8 = 13 - hit

crit?: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 20 = 232d4 + 8 ⇒ (2, 2) + 8 = 12 - nope

Grapple?: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (7) + 23 = 30

Bite: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (7) + 20 = 272d4 + 8 ⇒ (3, 1) + 8 = 12 -
claw: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 222d4 + 8 ⇒ (3, 3) + 8 = 14 -
claw: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 302d4 + 8 ⇒ (1, 2) + 8 = 11 -

So 22 damage for brock

Grapple?: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (16) + 23 = 39
1d2, 1 Luna, 2 Aedric: 1d2 ⇒ 1

================================

Tiger A pounce Brock while Tiger B pounce Luna. Tiger A takes vengeance from the damage suffered by hurting brock badly and snatching his arm (Brock get grappled)

I'm not sure what is the actual AC of luna. it is 26 or 29?

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Could you roll a little lower please

On the bright side, the tiger is very hurt. Aedric and I guess Luna turn

Luna's AC is 26. It rises to 29 when she uses the Barkskin ki power.

Why couldn't we just leave it alone...

Luna attacks the tiger...

IUS (non-lethal damage): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 non-lethal damage: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
IUS (non-lethal damage): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21 non-lethal damage: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Don't you have the ki for a +4 to ac? that would be useful here, Don't save resources.

Female Aasimar Monk 7 - HP 52; AC 26[29] (tch 24; ff 21[24]); CMD 29; Fort +9; Ref +12; Will +11. Resist 5 (acid/cold/electricity); Darkvision; Perception +14; Sense Motive +18; Init +7

Just realized there are two tigers... I attack Tiger A, then.

THat leaves Tiger A very close to K.O.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

"Why couldn't we leave it alone"...it's a BIG F%~*ING TIGER (which was described by our GM as being 15 feet tall and wide...) crouched in the jungle less than 30 feet from us!

I just say it was *huge* in a narrative fashion, you dirty metagamer :)

Use a Stunning Fist on that second attack too... Because, why the hell not? DC 19.

I thought I posted already. I had one written up, guess it didn't send.
