Looks like I am taking the Sneak daytime action, then. If the quartermaster retrieved Jagray's holy symbol from a particular place (e.g. his shop), that's where I'm briefly exploring today. Otherwise, I suppose any random area on deck, or preferably an area that looked potentially most interesting from my bird's eye view earlier on (e.g. where they stow the dinghies, or other small rowboats).

Vaite Wynne |

Since I already rolled I guess I'll have a look around as well and see where that gets me. I will search a potential area where loot might be kept such as a storage area or the shop
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Shigeru |

Cook's mate eh? Well, looks like I got off easy. Climbing I'm poor at.. swabbing is back breaking.. but cooking? I can figure that out easily enough.
Shigeru spends the day assisting the Cook, Fishguts, and while he is busy cooking, Shigeru takes a bit of time to visit the Quartermaster's office. He figures, if his gear was taken by the captain, they'd have it there - perhaps he could speak to whomever the Quartermaster is and request it back; perhaps for a favor or two, if need be.

Mabuu "Blackheart" Balvaire |

Anyone else want to take a daytime action?
Reijo (you need a Perception roll) and Vaite, you spend the day sneaking around the shop but aside from noticing that some of your gear made it here, you don't pick up or see anything else.
Shigeru, your day spent talking with Kroop went well, as did everyone else's in general so no lashes for all of you. Shigeru, you visit the Quartermaster, a no-nonsense half orc female known as Cut-Throat Grok.
Mind giving me diplomacy roll on that one?

Vaite Wynne |

Well at least my things are safe enough for the moment, Vaite sighs to himself in relief, all thats left to do now is to find a way to liberate it from those pirates... Great...

Reijo Ilvonen |

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
To clarify my earlier post btw, in centuries past, the quartermaster was 2nd in command (the 1st mate) on pirate ships, so when I mentioned earlier about where the quartermaster got Jagray's holy symbol, I thought we were talking about Mr. Plugg having it. It seems this AP is using a more modern military definition for the quartermaster title, though (as equipment supplier for troops).

Davey "Doc" Jekyll |

That is correct. The quartermaster is a separate title... Ship roles are as follows:
Bosun: responsible for upper deck and above. Also responsible for discipline and dispensing punishment.
Cabin Person: Servant of officers.
Captain: Ultimate authority.
Carpenter/Surgeon: Repairs ship and crew
Cook: Makes food
Master-At-Arms: Ship security, crew fitness, and dispencing of justice
Master Gunner: In charge of shipboard artillery
Quartermaster:supplies/rum rations
Rigger: They do do the rope stuffs
Swab: Everyone else.
Not all roles are filled or are necessary aboard every ship. For example, on the Wormwood, the bosun and the Master-At-Arms are essentially the same person (Master Scourge)

Davey "Doc" Jekyll |

In the various navies of the world, quartermasters had more to do with navigation, in pirate terms they weren't necessarily first mate, but they were this games equivalent of Master-at-Arms at the least. This game uses basically the army version.

Davey "Doc" Jekyll |

Doc will go talk to Cut-Throat Grok. (Influence)
"Miss Grok, I would like to ask you how one might go about getting his gear back aboard this ship? Surely a fine lady such as yourself would be willing to help our a fellow sailor? I was hoping you could at least return my alchemy crafting kit."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Vaite Wynne |

Gamble action
Well better not be risking my neck on my first day aboard, lets see if I can't have me a little friendly fun with these here lads, Vaite thinks to himself walking to join the other crew members
"Who's up for a little game of hog lob", Vaite yells out to the crew with a devilish grin and a crack of his wrists
Not too sure what kind of roll is required here

Davey "Doc" Jekyll |

I can tell ya: you toss a pig skin covered lead ingot and see who throws fathest. roll an attack roll with an improvised weapon (-4 unless you have Throw Anything). The roll is using your CMB. The result is how many feet you throw it, and you compare that to everyone else involved.
For instance, Doc's roll would be HogLob: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 for a result of 6 ft. Someone else, say with a CMB of +2 and no Throw anything would be HogLob: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 2 - 4 = 16 for a total of 16 ft thrown.

Vaite Wynne |

All right thanks a lot Doc
HogLob: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 2 - 4 = 10 gives me 10ft
Not too shabby, lets see how these other scumbags do against me, Vaite thinks to himself.
So who's going to be next?

Reijo Ilvonen |

Reijo sits comfortably within point blank range of Vaite and any other pig tossers, observing the game with a severe expression. With a missing coin pouch, a bottle of rum remains in his imagination alone. Keeping busy all day at least kept his mind occupied. But he's now got the time to think about his situation... his lack of drink and leaf in particular.
This does not bode well for the evening...
Reijo observes around him which other crew mates are in his vicinity. He takes in their race, dress, and expressions... how they come across. If anyone approaches him, Reijo's eyes pierce through theirs as he takes them in for a moment. But his building rage, it seems, is clouding his judgment...
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Potential Influence Action: If any of the NPCs spots Reijo and approaches him, he will attempt to impress one of the NPCs with either verbally abusive bullying or impressive tough talk (Intimidate), depending on how hostile or not they are towards him. The Sense Motive was to discern this about whomever approaches him.

Shigeru |

"Heh I'll go next, show you sods how it is done." Shigeru steps up and grabs the hog. He holds it in his hands, calculating in his head the object's weight, slipperiness, and various other qualities about it. To the rest of the crew, it looks as if he is lovingly petting the 'hog'. He then takes it in both hands, spins around and throws it - throwing it 17 a distance of 17 feet.
-----------------------------
Throw: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 2 - 4 = 17 17 feet. Booyah.

Jagray Hamfur |

Jagray heads off after the first mate. Knowing their is no way to the captain without going through the first mate first he continues to try and cozy up to the man and get in his good graces.
If he has an opportunity to talk with him
"Mr. Plugg sir, ye know I can be of great assistance. I be a follwer of Gozreh and I can bring 'er blessin' upon tha ship and tha crew if given tha chance."
Diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 2 Bah... hopefully this is just getting all the sucky rolls out of the way early...

Reijo Ilvonen |

May as well make my Intimidate check now. What Reijo says depends on how the other he happens to converse with behaves or acts towards him.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Vaite Wynne |

Vaite's eyes widen and his jaw drops with shock at the sight of Shigeru's throw.
Well mate, I do beleive I owe you an apology and a congratulations. You're far from the sorry weakling I had you marked as after that fall, Vaite says to Shigeru with a clap to the shoulder and a hearty laugh

Mabuu "Blackheart" Balvaire |

I won't have time to post the whole crew, but here's the evening so far.
Vaite and Shigeru are gambling around with a rather funny looking gnome, a halfling woman and a dwarf with a particularly ugly nose.
Everything's going well and the two of you seem to be faring better than the others.
The dwarf isn't happy about this
===
Jagray, Plugg finds you particularly annoying and gives you a glare worthy of a basilisk.
===
Reijo, your obvious staring catches the attention of a rather large and fat man, who stumbles over your way.
He plants himself in front of you, leans over in front of your face and breathes out heavily. Rum. A lot of it.
"Wotch'a starin' at?"

Davey "Doc" Jekyll |

"Oh, Miss Grok, you misread me! I do not intend to take it without your permission! I simply meant that I could better serve Besmara with is. And if her favour shies away from us, it would better help me against her minions!"

Reijo Ilvonen |

Does Reijo notice anything else about the fat man as he approaches? Any other details about his appearance? Weapons? Armor?
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Mabuu "Blackheart" Balvaire |

@Reijo: He's carrying nothin' with him. But his breath smells horrible... and he's waiting for an answer.
@Doc: "I guess so... but I'll have my eye on you the whole time."
If you want to nick something (your kit isnt there) you'll need to roll for it.
@Jagray: Up on deck you spy a rather beautiful woman with flowing red hair gazing out across deck.
@Vaite: The game continues normally.

Jagray Hamfur |

After Jagray takes some time praying to Gozreh, he'll walk over to the woman "'ello las. I donnea recall seein' you on board tha ship 'efore. If'n ya don' mind me askin' what's a beauty like yerself doin' aboard a ship like this?"

Reijo Ilvonen |

Reijo exhales abruptly at the scent of this man's putrid breath. But his stare does not abate for a moment, and he slowly rises from his seat. As he does so, he tries to come across as iron tough and dangerous, someone this guy better think twice about messing around with.
In a deep, gravelly voice, "Nothin' much, Rummy Tummy. What's it to ya?"
Intimidate check given in a previous post.

Mabuu "Blackheart" Balvaire |

@Shigeru: You head out to the bunks when you spot a glimpse of what seems to be a pale little girl dashing away into the crew's chambers.
@Jagray: The woman looks up at you and gives you a faint smile. "Pressganged, same as you. Besmara's luck hasn't fallen on me today it seems." She looks you over. "You seem likable enough... what say we fresh meats stick together?"
@Vaite: You head off to the bunks and make it there without any problem, crossing no one on your way there... Not even Shigeru
@Doc: Grok shakes her head. "Can't help ya out there. Mayhaps some of the crew would know?" She says this with a slight hint in her voice. Maybe some member of the crew knows of your kit.
@Reijo:
"Rummy Tummy eh? Think your tough do ya? Fresh hunk of fishbait like yourself? I reckon you best be gettin' to your bunk if you don't want something happenin' to your purty face."

Shigeru |

Rolling his shoulders, still a bit sore after the throw and the fall from earlier, Shigeru tips his metaphorical hat with a little bow and heads below deck. When he sees the little girl run off, he cocks his head and wonders to himself.
Huh.. why would they have a little girl aboard a pirate ship such as this? Cabin girl? Poor little b*&+% probably doesn't deserve whatever fate brought her here.. and whatever the idiot of a captain does with her.
Ah well, not my concern. I need to save my own hide first, before I can even give two s!*%s about little girls. Shigeru heads to the crew berths and looks for one of the cleaner and less soiled hammocks, hopefully finding one empty. When he finally gets into a hammock, he quickly nods off to sleep, not one to miss the opportunity for rest.

Jagray Hamfur |

Jagray nods to the woman understanding her situation all to well. "Aye, cannae have too many friends in this 'ere sort of situation." He smiles and bows his head slightly "I'm Jagray by tha way, devotee of Gozreh and a lover of tha sea. Should ya need any assistance I'll be glad ta help."

Reijo Ilvonen |

Reijo scowls more deeply at Rummy Tums, but refrains from making another remark.
Not now. Wait... wait fer th'right time.
With a dismissive expression, he gets out of the room, and heads...
If possible...to the Quartermaster's shop to find out about his pipe at least.
Otherwise...to his bunk. Before closing his eyes, and only when he is satisfied that everyone else around him is asleep, Reijo whispers a few names aloud to himself. "Small-balled Mas'er Scourge... Cap'n Harrigan... Rummy Tummy..."
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
