The storms grows stronger and stronger and in the meantime the whole crew is working on deck and in the rigging to keep the ship from sinking. While most do their work good, some can´t keep up with the bad weather and conditions. Randall let´s a rope snap, which causes several other sailors to swear and they need to work a lot harder to keep the sail and rigging there from falling apart.
After changing out the damaged rope, Radval is set to repair it, but he can´t manage to do it fast enough. More and more ropes snap and he seems still too busy with draming and brooding, even in this storm.
All teh while you can feel the disapproving eyes of Mr.Plugg and Master Scourge on your backs.
The crew must stay up all night battling the storm — there is no evening rest or entertainment, and after the evening meal, ship’s biscuit only, on this occasion, you are immediately called back to work again too.
Each one get´s a new task. Please roll.
You can also feel the hard day and the storm in your bones now, creeping up on you cold and wet. DC 14 constitution check or fatigued.

Maybe two hours before sundown, you hear a voice shrieking over the storm. Man overboard, man overboard! Obviously, one of the bigger waves flushed Tilly Bracket overboard. It is still bright enough to see a hundred feet, even though it is raining and very clouded. Tilly is 10 feet away from the ship, but it is clear, if she is not saved or a rope tossed to her or some other miracle happens, she will swiftly drift away in the storm and then probably drown to death in the open sea.

Motivation came to Radval when the ship shook hard enough to almost slam him into the other side of the ship, it was at this point that he knew that he had to try his hardest or he may get his wish of seeing this pirates dead...and him along with them.

The climb up was difficult, many a time Radval swayed with each shift of the ship, the crashing waves lashing him with whips of water, that while didn't provide a lot of pain, still tasked his concentration. The sorcerer's fingers began to ache as he got higher, but he clinched his teeth, turned a deaf ear to the screams of pain and moved on...the climb almost felt like it was taking hours and the higher he got, the tougher it was to hang on.

Radval never realized he had reached his destination, he didn't know how long he hung there, but he was alive and the ship needed to stay afloat, so he began to work and once he done all he could, Radval exhaled as he knew the climb down awaited, the boat shook yet again and the black haired teen quickly began descending while the matter was still in his hands. Once on the floor, he dropped to the ground...he had done all he could Plugg can go sink himself if he thinks I'll do more Radval closed his eyes, got up and walked carefully towards the lower decks.

Perhaps it was the storm, or the fact he was tired but he was almost to the spot on the rigging where a series of ropes had become entangled causing problems where a sudden swell caused him to lose his balance and go tumbling down. He hit the deck hard, perhaps the only thing that saved him was the rope attached to his waist. With several lound strings of curse words dark enough to turn a devils ear he rose right back up and made his way up again this time fixing the problem.

The call of overboard made him pale for a moment and he looked to see where the person went over.

If im on the deck when the call goes off I would toss my end of the rope to say, Randal or Jaina or both and go diving in after her, If im up in the rigging still well bad luck for her. here is a swim check just in case i can make the jump in with the rope tether.

She is so shocked, she doesn´t even realize what just happened to her and goes straight below deck, hugging a bottle of rum.
The storm goes on through the whole night and the whole crew needs to work as hard as they can, but finally in the first morning light it grows weaker and ceases some hours after sunset.

Everyone is worn out and tired, many fall asleep during their work.

The next days fly by pretty fast as you sail along and everybody recovers from the storm. It turns out that you found a new friend in Tilly Bracket, who is really thankful for you saving her life.

Sense Motive DC 22:
You can feel somebody staring at you back in a spitefull manner quite often. Obviously not everyone likes the new heroes.

On the 11th day, the waters become shallow and tricky to navigate. As the afternoon wears on, Mr. Plugg calls you together on the main deck. At his feet lie four crab pots. The captain wants fresh crabs for supper! Guess who just volunteered to catch them? Yeah, you´re the real heroes. He spits out and points to a reef lying some 200 feet north of the ship. Smiling friendly he adds:You and your darling Tilly here can swim to the reef, fill the pots with crabs and then swim back. With that, he turns his back on you and walks back to the bridge.

The waters are calm (DC 10 Swim checks) and clear (visibility 100 feet). With a DC 10 swim check you can swim half your speed as a full round action. That´s 15 feet per check and would make 14 checks in average. Please make only one check, if that fails another one, but you then need longer to swim there.
After some minutes of swimming in the sea you approach a superb coral reef, measuring approximately 100 yards square, lying between 5 and 30 feet below the surface.
Many crabs inhabit the reef, and each round, you can make a DC 10 Perception or Survival check to spot a crab, followed by a DC 10 Swim check to swim down and catch that crab. Four crabs are required to fill a pot.

Would I be able to use a bit of the coral reef as an improvised dagger?

Hold on Jaina!

He called out swimming over while drawing the dagger from his boot. He tries to jab the creature and get it to let go.

Caught unawares in the water, Randall punches the creature that attacked him.
Attack (Unarmed strike): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Damage (nonlethal): 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Connecting a solid blow, he shakes his hand in pain "Damn, these things have a hard head."

@Jaina: Yes. Also you can´t flurry in the water because the swim check is equivalent to a move action. I´ll count the second attack as a hit though. Attack and damage for slashing and bludgeoning weapons are at -2/half, after a succesfull swim check.

Jaina hits the crab and damages it, but not as hard as she expected.
percival comes to her aid though and stabs the thing deftly though. It shrieks in hurt.
Meanwhile, Randall doesn´t fair so good. He hits the crab´s head, but his knuckles hurt while he finds out it is quite hard.
And the crab hits back.

Attack on Jaina: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 201d4 ⇒ 1 Poison (Ex) Claw—injury; save Fort DC 13; frequency 1/round for 4 rounds; effect 1d2 Str; cure 1 save. Only if hit and damaged!On hit grab: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Attack on Randall: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 141d4 ⇒ 2 Poison (Ex) Claw—injury; save Fort DC 13; frequency 1/round for 4 rounds; effect 1d2 Str; cure 1 save. Only if hit and damaged!On hit grab: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Both Jaina and Randall find one of their legs firmly grasped by a pincer and feel some poison running through their veins as their skin is punctured. Both grappled now with all consequences on swim checks etc.

Rund 2. Please post your actions. Initiative order is not necessarily posting order. We might be faster this way^^

"Get off me, damn you!"

Her fist just bounces off the thing's shell without hurting it. "F**K!"

"Whoa there Jaina calm down and stop thrashing so much it makes it harder to stab this thing."

The noble growled in annoyance as he tread water then deftly jabbed the knife forward expertly gouging it again with his dagger.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Moving to the right so that both beasts would be in a line to him, Radval was somehow capable of staying afloat. He turned and tried to gauge how he could hit both of these beasts without harming his companions, after setting himself on an angle, he let the arcane power twist, turn and gather towards his hands, soon enough he felt a familiar heat as arcane fueled flame sparked in front of his right hand and when he simply extended it forward, the fire lunged, expanded and came upon his targets like an enraged and chaotic wave.

Damage Roll: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Reflex Save for half damage DC:14

Also since there is no map, I'll just assume that Radval aimed the cone to only hit both creatures without hitting his friends., if that is not possible then just have it aimed at one of them please.

Reflex save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

While Jaina struggles with her beast, Percival is abel to slay it with an aimed stab.
Radval manages to burn the one Randall is fighting as i plunges overwater for a second.

Just go on with your actions for round 3 please if the rest cannot respond soon.

Jaina is free because Percival slew the lobster harrassing her.
Randall is also able to break free.
Please post your actions, i´m expectn the last lobster to be killed soon^^
