Ouroboreia moves forward and bows to the guardian.
"My respects, Guardian. I am Ouroboreia the Caller, Host of the Void, Warden of the Magaambya and servant of the Sapphire Sage. I seek enlightenment from the Diamond Sage, and humbly ask for the permission to gain audience with the Sage."

At each introduction, the gem flashes with images of the ruby sage jewel which has bestowed its powers to you for a time and a feeling of warmth and acceptance washes over you. You somehow know in your heart that it is safe to pass.
Assuming you leave Nefti and Kafar behind as they will not willingly go forward.
The passage beyond the door to the north contains a long set of stairs going down before finally turning to the right and opening swiftly into a large chamber.
Two curved ramps ascend gently from one end of this semicircular room toward its northwest entrance. More than a dozen statues line the intricately painted walls, and all face toward an immense crystal that projects from the southeast wall. The statues are carved in the Osiran fashion, some bearing the heads of animals, and many holding objects like staves, ankhs, oil lamps, and scepters in their supple marble hands. Four engravings in the likeness of gemstones are set into shallow circular recesses in the floor arrayed before the huge jewel.
Amenopheus surveys the room. "What do you make of this, Pathfinders?"
GM Sior
|
Going around the room, Guilford fears that a recollection is just beyond his grasp when looking at the statues. Taking a moment to rest his mind, he peruses the paintings along the wall. It doesn't seem that any of these characters are of any historical consequence.

Except... wait a second... is that figure in the wall paintings Amenopheus? It certainly does resemble him...

Noticing the other non-Amenopheusish figures painted on the walls, Guilford spies one which he recognizes as Nethys, though depicted in an archaic style.
He also notices that this Amenopheus-looking fellow appears in many of the images around the room.

Ouroboreia looks around the room, reserving her judgement.
"Interesting. Amenopheus's many reflections would seem to indicate that whoever is the host for one of the jewels would appear here. Moreover, there are four slits in front of a master stone. The most precious gemstone is a diamond, so I'd say this is the master jewel. Sapphire, ruby, emerald, topaz all bow to him. "

Ouroboreia also studies the wall and sees not only the god Nethys but also Ptah, the ancient Osirian god of architecture and inventions, and Thoth, the god of wisdom and writing.
Continuing her search of the room, she notes the "slits" in front of the large gem are actually carvings of smaller gems, each cut in its own manner. Going through her mind castle, she recalls that each one is indicative of an old cut of gems used for different gems. Not only are they for sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and topazes, she sees that they are in a certain order and can identify the colours of each. (See map)
Elena, meanwhile, checks for magic in the room and is not surprised to find it coming from every statue, surface, and even the air in here. It is not so overwhelming, however, to keep her from noticing a stark resemblance in one of the statues to Amenopheus. Additionally, there is one which looks just like the Ruby Sage whom you 'met' not too long ago.
Amenopheus, sensing that there is not much else to find in this room, takes the shard from the gem in the previous room and moves towards the large gem. "Only Sages are able to open the passage to the chamber beyond. No doubt the Diamond Sage awaits us within. Not to mention, some answers."
He places the key in a small slot in the gem and...
A bright light flashes in the room for an instant. As soon as it abates, Amenopheus is no longer in the room. Rather, he seems to be inside the gem, trapped as a fly in amber! A voice fills the room in Ancient Osiriani.
Four lamps have ignited themselves in possession of some of the statues.
Two statues, however, have taken up arms against you!
Additionally, emerging from the gem is a giant being constructed entirely of glass!

Apologies, I missed this at first.
While the glass golem is immune to magic, it does have some interesting side-effects from being exposed to certain spells. It is susceptible to a shatter spell as if a crystalline object. Keen edge makes its slam attack count as slashing. Cold damage can slow the golem while fire damage will end slowed conditions while also healing it.
Guilford recalls that the large one additionally can dazzle nearby creatures in areas of bright light (currently normal light in the room) and that it can also reflect spells back on its user.
The smallers ones also have construct traits immunities. No special addendum to that one.
Mythic Guilford

So no magic immunity on smaller ones? If so...
Gil sends three bolts of blue energy at the creature threatening Ouroboreia.

Guilford concentrates on sending some bolts of force at the living statue closing in on Ouroboreia.
The large glass golem takes a single step towards Roland and Ryster where it promptly starts to beat at the dwarf with a gun. It slams into Ryster with excessive force!

The statue near the put, surprisingly, does not swing at Ouroboreia, but rather heads straight for Guilford with its quarterstaff! Provoking as it goes from Ouroboreia and Elena, though Elena is flatfooted and I don't believe Ouroboreia is armed.
Quarterstaff to Guilford!: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 And you get bleed, also.

Afraid not, Ryster. That's a ramp up to the statues. If it were down, I'd say why the smeg not. Also, statues.
Also, I was gonna go for Roland, but tactics demanded you. =P
Roland swings at the golem, his first attack quickly slicing at the construct, though his second does not seem to penetrate the hard material it is made from.
Roland, looks good, just make sure you reduce your current mythic point pool for the surprise strike.

Ouroboreia isn't armed, so you're completely right in assessing she doesn't get an AoO.

Mythic Haste (all three elementals, Roland, Ryster): regular effects of haste (+1 AC/Ref/attack rolls, +1 attack when full-attacking), except that the movement boost is +50ft (maximum three times you base movement) and that it grants you an extra move action.

Sadly, as it's a ramp up, ye can't 5-foot step up to the statues. Thankfully, we'll just say you can reach them from your current position.
Elena need not wait long. The moment the lamp is fitted into the Ruby Sage's hand, a beam of crimson light reflects from a portion of the statue directly at the stylized ruby carved in the floor of the chamber.
